Bdc for CJ20N.  Selecting information button.

Hi,
I am trying to write a bdc for cj20n where the Status profile have to change but In the program throug recording the information button is not being selected.
is there any way to change the Status profile ?

Hi
First things first, CJ20N tcode is not feasible for BDC. Dont perform BDC on enjoy transactions. Use BAPI. BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN is very useful for PS.

    I recorded one BDC for MB25 Tcode regarding to determine Open Reservation(s) in E Mode (Display Mode). I am passing 3 parameters.
    1. Plant,
    2. Requirement Date
    3. Multiple Reservation Numbers i.e. RSNUM from Dynamic Selection i.e. 2nd Button -> Header Data for Reservation -> Reservation -> Multiple Selection Icon.
    But while executing that BDC, I need to manually click every time on 'Header Data for Reservation' Tree and then Multiple Selection for Reservation Icon.
    I want below steps automatically while executing:
    - Open 'Header Data for Reservation' Tree
    - Click Reservation
    - Open Popup for 'Multiple Selection'.
    So no need to click every time on Dynamic Selection Screen i.e. Header Data for Reservation -> Reservation -> Multiple Selection Icon.
    Please find attached screen shot for your reference.

    submit (sy-repid) with selection-table v_sp
                             with free selections EXPRESSIONS
                             via selection-screen.
    Without going through the details, dont you think this will cause an inifinite loop as the calling & the called programs are the same.
    Please enlighten me !!

    I written one bdc program for CJ20N. My requirement is to create project defination by using existing project defination.
    In recording iam clicking network overview buttton but
    that ok-code is not capturing what might be the reason.

    Hi,
    As Tx. CJ20N is an Enjoy SAP Transaction, it is not possible to use this effectively in BDCs. So i suggest that you use following methods:
    BAPI: BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN to create & maintain a Project. check the BAPI documentation for the details.
    Else use Tx. CJ20 in the BDC.

  • How to create a variant for  a selection screen  button

    hi ,
          i have  created a selection screen for a normal report .   
    In the selection screen  there is one button after the selct option for company code. when user enters some company code and  presses the button the user i call a able contraol in which user gives some additional values for the comapny code.
    how  do i create variant.  when i create  varaint  for the slection screen  it does  not take into account the  other screen i called .
    so every time user has to click that button and enter some values and execute. please suggest  some way.

    Hi,
          Inorder to create a variant for selection screen report, you need to enter valid data on the screen and click on the SAVE button which is available in the Menu.
          And regarding the button you were asking about after select option, it is not created manually it comes automatically,, you can remove this by mentioning no-extension after the select-option. You can get clear information of this if you do F1 help on select-option.
    My advice to you, make effect use of F1 help.

  • BDC for file selection

    hi,
    I want to record the file selection using BDC. but the dialog box which is for the file selection is also getting displayed while running the BDC program. is it possible that i pass a file name to it without the file dialog box.

    I must do selection on some row from ALV by BDC or something like this.

    Sorry.. you are right.. The table maintenance view was Table control .  I thought you were only asking if row selection was possible. I din notice you were specifically asking for ALV. ALV records marking do not seem to be possible while recording. what is your exact requirement. We could probably find an alternate solution.

    Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.  You won't lose any data by doing this.

    Even if you do it with CJ20...the screen flow is lot of problem. I tried with BDC for the transaction...but its a real headached due to the hierarchy.
    I would suggest you to go with the BAPI: BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN.
    You can use this BAPI to create elements way down the hierarchy till activity.
    All the documentation is available for the BAPI. You can see it from Se37.

  • New Printer - Install - OK Button for Language Selection Non-Responsive

    I just unboxed my work printer at home and was attempting to set it up. The drivers installed properly on to my computer. However, the last portion for me to complete set up is to set up the language which then will I believe ask for time zone, etc. The problem I'm having is when it asks for language the OK button is non responsive. I tried clicking on anything on the keypad and stil nothing. I reset the computer and printer. Unplugged the printer and started it back up... still nothing. Anyone have any idea why this is happening or am I doing something wrong or not doing something that should be done? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully, Robin

    BDC (Batch Data Communication) works based on the data in the Internal table of structure "BDCDATA", and some of the very important lines with information (in sequence) Dynpro, Cursor-field and Data Fields, then call Transaction / Session Creation Logic.
    In Call Transaction method of BDC, the Message is handled manually using the structure "BDCMSGCOLL" and by refering to messages in "T100" Table. [Refer the standard Include BECRECX1 for more information.

    Hi Experts,
    I am creating BDC for VL10E, at the time of recording i am selecting checkbox from selection coloum and processing for dialong.
    Now the problem is that recording for selcting checkbox is not appearing in SHDB.

    Instead of selecting specific items by means of checkboxes you might specify suitable selection criteria on the selection screen - to make VL10E select only the items you need. If you need complex selection options, difficult to process in bdc you may use user-exit SEL_SCREEN_USER (include LV50R_PREFZ1).
    Another approach may be to select all entries in the list - by clicking a single button "select al" (so it should not be a problem in bdc) - together with any of the following user-exits:
    -  USEREXIT_PREPARE_KUMNG_SET (include LV50R_VIEWH19). It enables you to decide what quantity should be processed for each item, if you specify quantity zero, the item is not processed (but you get a warning in log).
    - USEREXIT_PREPARE_PACKAGES_CREA (include LV50R_VIEWG09). It enables you to group items into "packages" in a way you want - one package is a set of items for which system tries to create separate delivery. By means of this exit you can omit items you don't want to process.
    You can pass your own data from your program (which calls VL10E) into user-exits using for example export/import to memory id.
    See note 198137 for more information on exits in VL10*.
