BDC for Hiring a Employee through hiring action

Hi Experts,
We have done BDC for hiring action.
We do have PA & OM integrated. T77S0 PLOGI ORGA "X".
After hiring is compelted through BDC holder relationship is not appearing for position.
But when we are individually hiring an employee, position is assigned to a holder.
Please advice.

During BDC, the integration PA-OM is not processed... you have to run RHINTE00 report.

Can you cehck the following necessary configurations.

u2022     In this step, you define the mile-stone Actions that need to be performed for an employee during his tenure with the organization. The User Group (user parameter "UGR") is also activated for each Action so that the Info Groups associated with each Action would be User Group dependent.
u2022     If there are no entries for an info group for the user's user group or if the user has not maintained their user group, then the info group is determined using the default user group which is the country grouping.
u2022     In addition to this, the info group can be set up so that it is dependent on the employee's control data. This is activated by using feature Info group modifier (IGMOD).

The info groups are chosen by assigning the operations, info types and info subtypes for the user group 40.
u2022     When operation INS is used while assigning ITs to IGs the system checks to see whether an info type already exists (possibly with the same subtype). If such an IT already exists, the system switches from "Create" to "Change".
u2022     It normally makes sense to use the operation "Create" (INS) for a hiring action. For all other actions, we could use function code "Copy" (COP). While using function code u201CCopyu201D, existing records with the start date of the action are proposed. If no records exist for the info type, the system internally switches to "Create".
u2022     During a Termination action, we use the operation LIS9 for delimiting records.

Customizing Request while Hiring an employee using PA40

Hi All
1.
I am hiring an employee using Hiring Action (PA40) , once i enter the data in Infotype 0000 (Actions) & Infotype 0001 (Org Assignment) while saving it is asking for a Customizing Request .
Pls let me know why is it asking for the request & how to avoid it .

The customising request can be controlled by us. You can access the table T77S0 directly and search for group TRSP and Sem. abbr CORR. If you want to control using the navigation path from IMG>Personnel Management>Organisation Management>Transport>Setup Transport connection.
Having X is value abbreviation column does not generate the Customising Request
Mr Mohan had just put the same how ever.

BDC for TCODE F150

I am facing problem while developing BDC for tcode F150. The last action i.e. scheduling for particular dunning date is not getting executed in my BDC.

Hi,
   If u want it for some specific plants then before populating data to bdcdata internal table check the conditions for which the plant fields required values to be passed and if the condition is satisfied then pass the plant field to bdcdata table . If the condition is not satisfied then dont pass that plant field to bdcdata table bcoz if u r not passing any field to bdcdata table then that field is going have default values.

Updation of Personnel Area for a position and an employee after hiring.

Hi Experts,
I have query regarding Personnel Area updation for an employee.
Here is the scenario :-
An employee was hired to a Position with personnel area "A". In future, the Personnel area for this position is chnaged to "B". Now the PA for this person doesn't get updated automatically.
Could you suggest how do we update the PA for an employee?

If the personnel area of an employee is getting changed then that can be done by executing organisation re-assignment/ transfer action.

PA40 - HIRING - NEW EMPLOYEES

when i m goin for hiring-new employee thr PA40, the personel number is generating even I not saved it. The personel no. is
getting generated in sequence everytime even I not saved it.

PA40 is actions which automatically popup the infotype screens one by one and saves them too.
--> Infact this is the one of feature of PA40. It is behaving normally. (Nothing is abnormal here)
Since the personnel Number is Unique Key, It can't create duplicate record. So even though if you create single record also automatically it chooses next number

I was just going to suggest use dynamic actions.
Alternatievely you can abuse a custom function module on SWEHR3 instead of determining which event to send it could also just send an email.

BDC for PA30 action hire is not creating entry in IT 1001

Hello All,
I created a BDC for to create hire action in system to create some dummy data, but its not creating entry in infotype 1001 for relation between person (P) and position (S). If i create entry in PA30 it create ebtry, if i try BDC in Dialog mode even then its not creating it.
I read a lot about Dynamic action in this kind of issue but i seen table T588Z but there is no any insert dynamic action for IT 1001.
Can anybody throw some light on the cause of the same.
i tried to create same data with FM HR_MIANTAIN_MASTERDATA but i have to drop that idea becasue it was not able to crate record with empty PERNR field. if your answer is use this FM then please provide some working code as i searched a lot on the same issue but no any concrete proof on the same.

Are you getting any error?
If not i think you have to lock the employee before creating an entry to the IT 1001 using FM
'BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE'
and create an entry to IT 1001 using BDC or HR_MIANTAIN_MASTERDATA
and unlock an employee by using FM
'BAPI_EMPLOYEE_DEQUEUE'

Regarding Sending Mail while an employee is hired.

Hi all,
Currently we have an process of sending a mail to a set of Email Address while an employee is hired using the Transaction PA40.
Now the requirement is to remove some Email Address, so that the concern person would get the mail about hiring.
How can i remove the mail id. Where will be it stored.
Our customer says that they have used some user exit to hard code. But using SMOD, i check it, but there is no user exit is available.
So can you provide me a solution for this

Typically you can use user -exit EXIT_SAPFP50M_002 for this kind of activity. Check if include put in this function module is implemented.

first tell me exactly where the error is coming?
is it coming as soon as you entered in PA40? or
is it coming in a particular infotype? if so what is that infotype and what value you are inputing in that screen?
please make sure the value you are giving in the screen is properly configured. also check the T588D & T529A with respect to UGR and IGMOD.

Problem in BDC For Actions

Hi All,
I am making a BDC for IT0000.
I have done the recording and developed a program for that.
IT0105 is also there in info grouping for action.When I am executing the bdc in Foreground Processing the error is coming "No batch input data for screen MP010500 2000" for IT0105.
When I am processing the program in background error is coming in the screen IT0105.But the screen displayed here for IT0105 shows different fields from what it shows in foreground processing.
Can anyone help me out in solving the problem?

Hi Sutapa,
Try making the call transaction in mode 'E' and it will stop in the screen which is giving you the error. Some screens will come up only during the backend run(mode N). So in that case you need to write the code after seeing it in mode 'E' which all are the screens coming up.

Unable to execute Actions for the Existed Employees in the Upgrade Server

We have Upgraded from ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.04
In ECC 6.04 we are unable to Execute further Actions for the Existed employees where as if we create New employee its allowing to execute Actions in the system.
