BDC - How to find line item index in table control?

Hi guys,
I am doing a BDC for VL02N, I am stuck up in positioning the line item index. For example, I have 10 line items, I want to fill quantity for the item 000060 which is in the third line. I am able position the cursor using button for locating item ( ok_code = 'POPO' ), but I could not find the index of the item in the table control, so that I can enter the quantity value as
PERFORM bdc_field USING 'LIPSD-G_LFIMG(03)' '100'.
Any expert to help me on this?

Depending on the message the line number might be in one of the fields:
MESSAGE_V1
MESSAGE_V2
MESSAGE_V3
MESSAGE_V4
Although if the message simply is not meant to include the line number, it won't be there. That's the way it is. If there is a user exit available, you may add your custom messages with the line number. In some user exits (in sales order for sure) there is a special variable (flag), which is set when the BAPI runs the transaction.

before display, while debugging , after pai, it will go in pbo modules,
so there u need to check the structure screen for the variable select. u might have declare one variable like sel(1) type c,
these variable u have written in table control attributes in select variable as itab-sel.
so check in debugging first.

How to find open item in bsik table

anyone can tell me how to find open items for vendor in bsik table or it will store only open item.
i debug the tcode fbl1n to see . but not able to find

There is no specific field name for open item in the table BSIK.Yes BSIK include a structure named ABSIK_PSO and which is a "IS-PS: Data appendix of open items vendors".
Yes there is a field name

How to implement line selectability for a table control using table Wizard?

Hello SDN Community,
I have created a table control using the Table Wizard. I found my exact question in this forum, but unfortunately it had not been andsered. While I cannot paste a screen-print into this plane-text area, here are the steps I followed...
1) SE51
2) Create new screen 0100
3) Click Layout button
4) Clidk Table Control (with Wizard) and draw box on canvas.
5) Step is "Start" - click Continue
6) Step is "Name of Table Control" - provided name
7) Step is "Table Name" - provided name of dictionary table (AUFK)
8) Step is "Definition of Columns" - selected order numver and order text
9) Step is "Table Control Attributes" - Line Selectability is in display mode - cannot set it.
I would like to have a selectability column for my table. Would appreciate any insight into how to do this.

This is a puzzling...
For the table control wizard, in the Table Control Attributes step, I was able to get line selectability to open up by declaring a char01 data element at the beginning of my type.
The puzzling is in regards to the "Selection col. fld" entry field.
If I leave it blank and try to go to the next step, I get message "Enter the name of the selection column if you are using a program table"
So it looked like it wanted to know the name of my selection column. So I type in "CHAR1". and got the message "The field "CHAR1" for the selection column is already contained in the table."
Hmmmmm.... don't understand............

How to select line items in recording(BDC)

Hi All,
we are trying to Recording QP02 transaction ,we have inputs like material,plant,Group,Group Counter.
after entering these inputs we will get multiful line items(inspection characteristics).we need to check one field for each item.
How can we get this?

After selecting line items i am selecting control indicators Tab.
then Pop up screen called as (Edit characteristic control indicators) will open ,..then just pressing enter..the it will show another pop up ..here i am selecting one field(Long term Inspection)..the process has to do for all line items.
In My program i have copied BDC performs which i got from Recording.
Do i need to change tha performs or will it work?
i tested in foreground with another material .... upto 3 or 4 line items its working fine.after that sytem does.t say anything.
if i need to chage performs please help me .

How to transfer Line Items from One GL account to another GL account.
We, at the time of changing Non Open Item Manged account to Open Item Manged account, how can we transfer Line items to make this GL account Zero, If suppose line items are more than 200.

If you are attempting to change the account from Non Open Item managed, you need to make the account balance zero. The change will be be effective only for future transactions. You need not transfer all line items, find the balance and make an entry to debit or credit to make it zero, to a temporary account. Later, once you have activated, you can reverse that transaction.
The OSS 606977 refered may be helpful if you are looking for reverse activation. i.e from Open to Non Open. Here is a brief:
Symptom
In the G/L account master record, you can activate/deactivate the 'Open item management' indicator if the balance of the account is zero. In this case, the system does not check whether postings exist on the account.
If postings exist, this could lead to problems, for example, if the clearing is reversed after the change to the indicator is made.
Other terms
FS00, FS02, FSS0, FS02, FH190, XOPVW
Reason and Prerequisites
The transactions for the maintenance of the G/L account master record did not check whether postings exist on the account. Now the program checks whether postings exist in the current year or previous two fiscal years.
Solution
Implement the attached correction or import the corresponding Support Package. Since it could make sense to change an account with balance zero from open item managed to non-open item managed (and vice versa) - despite postings to the account - the message is delivered as customizable (with error as a default setting).
The check is also carried out, when open-item management is activated, is postings exist on the account.
If you implement the note you must also carry out the following:
Use Transaction SE91 to create message 190 in message class FH with the following text:
Account balance = 0; however, postings exist on the account
Use Transaction SM30 to insert the following entry into view T100S:
Application area   FH
MsgNo              190
Allowed            EW
Standard          E
Afterwards, the message can be customized in View V_T100C. To do this, you can use Transaction OBA5.

With sample account you can succeed your requirement
Give all the defualt fields whtatever you want then use this sample account while creating GL account
One more possibility is with SHD0 screen layout change with defaults (this thing i am not sure)

How to pass line item values in the table paramer of FM

When i will give the import of the FM as VBELN"sales order number.
I want to display all the line items for "PO Quantity in the out put of the FM.
For this i thnk i have to pass the line item values in the table parameter of the FM.
Can any body please tell me how to pass the values for the line items in the table parameter fo teh FM.

To minimize tablespace fragmentation is to use Locally Managed Uniform Sized Tablespaces. With Oracle 10g, even your system tablespace can now be LMT.
The best way to remove fragmentation of a table or index is to re-create or rebuild it. The same can be accomplosihed this is to use the ALTER TABLE MOVE and ALTER INDEX REBUILD statements.
Alter Table Tab1 move tablespace NEW_LMT_TS;
Alter Index Ind1 rebuild tablespace NEW_LMT_TS;
Even with LMT, indexes can sometimes become fragmented over time due to inserts and deletes of rows in the index leaf pages.
Run an analyze index validate structure on your indexes.
Query the index_stats table. If the percentage of deleted leaf rows to total leaf rows (DEL_LF_ROWS/LF_ROWS) is greater than 20%; then, the index probably should be rebuilt. but sometimes these may be a wrong.
How to remove index fragmentation?
There are two way to remove fragmentation.
1. index coalesce
2. index rebuild

Multiple line items in ESERVICE table

In production they moved out one BP from a premise and Moved in another BP in that premise.Now when they reverse both Move In and Move out they are getting multiple line items in ESERVICE table.In our case two shipper was created.How to avoid this issue?

You recieve in reference to the PO, not in reference to the 351 goods issue movements, hence SAP defaults just one item to MIGO.
If you get the quantity in one physical delivery, how can then the receiver know that it was issued with 3 different material documents?
if the receiver gets kowledge about 3 different goods issues from the accompaning paperwork then he amend the suggested quantity and post partial quantities.
if the goods issue was done with 3 material documents because of a certain reason like different batches, then the receiver can click the distribute icon to distribute the quantity of one item line in MIGO to several lines based on batch numbers.

First u define a button. and in onAction Event of the button write the following code.
process is as follows:
1)get the node
2)get the element
3)using the method remove_element() ,remove the element.
