i want to upload the region data in sales transaction show that i want to analysis the area wise sales detail for different material.for this which *transaction code* ,i should use for recording.can any body provide me example for BDC Program.

Problem in the BDC program to upload the data from a flat file.

I am required to write a BDC program to upload the data from a flat file. The conditions are as mentioned below:-
1) Selection Screen will be prompted to user and user needs to provide:- File Path on presentation server (with F4 help for this obligatory parameter) and File Separator e.g. @,#,$,%,... etc(fields in the file will be separated by using this special character) or fields may be separated by tab(tab delimited).
2) Finally after the data is uploaded, following messages need to be displayed:-
a) Total Number of records successfully uploaded.
b) Session Name
c) Number of Sessions created.
Problem is when each record is fetched from flat file, the record needs to be split into individual fields separated by delimiter or in case tab separated, then proceeding in usual manner.
It would be great if you provide me either the logic, pseudocode, or sample code for this BDC program.

Here is an example program, if you require the delimitor to be a TAB, then enter TAB on the selection screen, if you require the delimitor to be a comma, slash, pipe, whatever, then simply enter that value. This example is simply the uploading of the file, not the BDC, I assume that you know what to do once you have the data into the internal table.

BDC Program for Uploading Data for Property Tree in cg02

Hi,
How to upload data for property tree ( standard Properties ) of CG02. I checked for BAPI or Function Module but most them supports for specification header and sub item.
Please Let me know if any function module or BAPI available for this process. I tried with BDC Program, but it fails.

1.) Reads cross these further chapters:
"Tools (EHS-BD-TLS)" => "IMport and Export" => "Import: Process" => "Specifying the Sequence of the External Data Structure " => "External File Structure: Specification"
Here you will learn how to prepare the data. In chapter:" Example: Transfer File for Specifications" you will find an example of an file whcih could be used to upload data in the property tree
2.) Chapter:" Importing Specifications" is explaining the steps whcih are need to populate the property with data using the file as prepared; read cross chapter "Specification Import Control"

we have created dependencies for preconditions in variant configuration.
now we have to link these dependencies between the charecteristics and values
can we make BDC program for uploading the data ?
because data content is huge and takes more time.

Need to write BDC program for Transaction VA01(Sales order creation)

Dear Friends,
I need to write a BDC program for uploading data into sap from an excel sheet file. The data contain Material Description,Customer Name,Date of Delivery,Quantity,Unit of measure etc.

The transaction is VA01.How will I find the correct fields and related tables? What are the related fields needed in the transaction VA01.

Hello,
You could try using a BDC with VL04 but first preference would be to see if there are any BAPI functions (search for BAPI) that can do this.
If BUS2032 doesn't have an attribute that you want (eg shipping point) then sub-delegate to ZBUS2032 and add the attribute, it's straightforward. You just have to know how to determine the value programmatically.

i see YSCI_MAEX_UPLOAD_R3 dveloped report by you. (starting with Y*)
When you directly updates tables you wont get any log, as soon as you report wont generate them.
Usually report should (after executed) generate spool when "WRITE" command is present.
Check when executed in background whether it does generate spool.
TA: SM37 in the "job log" check for spool.
@Anyway, standard log can be seen in GTS in TA: SLG1 (but this is not the case).

BDC Program for posting FI document

Hi everyone!
Anyone out there already made a BDC program for posting FI documents with this concept:
User will upload a spreadsheet file with the line items per row
User will input which TCODE user will use for posting
BDC program will then post the document using the line items in the spreadsheet file
I need to make a BDC program with that concept but having a hard time to think of a good algorithm to make my program very flexible.

Have a processing routine defined for the specific Idocs that come into SAP.
So, as and when the idocs are in, the routine triggers and you can codeappropriately in the routine for parking the idocs.

You can use message type INVOIC, IDoc Type INVOIC01/02 with process code INVF (FM IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_FI) for FBV1 transaction.
See if there are any BAPI/FMs for parking an FI document.

BDC Program for MB1B Screen..

Hi Abapers..
I am doing BDC Upload program using MB1B Screen. I put the receiving bin but the following error coming..
" CALL_TRANSACTION MB1B Return code = 1,001 RECORD: 0
S The Receiving batch will be automatically set to G02
W Batch G02 has already been posted in stock
S No batch input data for screen SAPLKACB 0002"
What is the error? how to rectify that error. anybody please give the solution of this problem.
Give me source code for this bdc program for MB1B Screen.

Hi All,
What is the method used for upload of Data from excel spread sheets to SAP HR.
it is Bulk Data from many countries.LSMW or BDC Session Method?
what are country specific infotypes used for PA and OM.
can u plz give the list of country specific infotypes used for PA n OM Module.

To Upload bulk data I think BDC is the best and effecient way.
Regarding Infotypes we dont have any country specific Infotypes in OM & PA. In Payroll we do have according to country wise.
