I have a KT3 Ultra URA mobo + AMD XP 1800 + W2k dutch version + SP2. With the mobo I received a MSI CD with utilities. I became a major problem installing the MSI Lockfile program: after restarting the PC it started with initialising W2k, but on a certain moment initialisation stopped and I received the message: Error in User interface; Cannot load DLL-file ginamsi.dll (aanmeldgebruikersinterface = dutch, english: ?? log in user interface ??). Repair the original file.
I tried to repair with booting from the W2k CD, repair section. That had no result.
With starting in safe mode (as member Hardwareman suggested) I also had big problems (didn't start up W2k). After leaving the computer 2 day rest I succeded starting in safe mode. File search learned, that the ginamsi.dll is part of the MSI Lockfile program. After uninstalling the program the computer started as usual.
Summary: The program MSI Lockfile can be dangerous. You'll find it on the MSI Utilities CD, that came with de motherboard (in my case: KT3 Ultra ARU), chapter MSI Utilities. So be very careful and aware of troubles to install that program!!!

hey Jan_Ko I think what the dutch phrase is saying is it failed to intialize a required interface (I don't speak dutch but I speak German and it's pretty similar (not trying to imply anything or be insulting, I actually think nederlands is a cool langauge) but of course I could be wrong about the translation, hopfully Bas will get back to us on this.

I listed the commands.. that is how you manually mount the disk.. follow exactly the commands I gave you.
In finder use top menu, go, connect to server.
Type in the following.
AFP://TCname or AFP://TCIpaddress (obviously you replace with the actual name or the actual IP address).
If that fails..
try
SMB://TCname

I got the "Cloud" including CS6 , yesterday,after a chat with a nice Indian
fellow who called me back from Bombay. Surprisingly he was looking forward
to Thanksgiving too but probably because he gets a day off.
I now have the Adobe Premiere Pro loaded (it took nine hours) and
installed. Now I'm starting the tutorials.

For a fresh download on a new hard drive, it's best to start with the CC desktop app. Sign into adobe.com and download it here: creative.adobe.com/products/download/creative-cloud
You can then launch the desktop, sign in and download PS & LR.

You would have to use Bootcamp and install Windows or install an emulator like Parallels and then install Windows into the Parallels emulator.
It probably won't do any good but you could file a complaint with them over their choice to only support Windows.

Well, shucks, i just spent almost 30 minutes trying to find your model user guide to explain it better, I guess they never got around to making it.....
I would just borrow another Windows disk and try installing it again and if it does it again then you might take it to an Apple Store and see if one of the "Genius' " can figure it out.
Make sure your internet is enabled and click on your blank desktop and at the top of your screen is a Help menu option, enter PRAM and it should give you a list of things relating to Pram. It may take a few seconds to list anything as it has to connect to Apples severs first. It should list the things you may have to fill back in when your done.
"P-ram" stores some common information that is used in the background, your date, time, startup disk, etc, that you don't have to re-fill when you restart, it's a little different for each computer.

Huh? I don't understand what you are asking. I just pulled up the network utility and I don't see what kind of connection monitoring it does for any kind of connection? What kind of information are you looking to obtain? What problem are you interested in solving by having your question answered?

Please make sure that you're logged in as an administrator, and that any antivirus software on your system is disabled. Then, trying downloading Acrobat from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X, and run the installer.

when I tryed to install a new update of msi fast boot, an error occured, now msi fast boot isnt installed correctly and i cannot find it anywhere to uninstall or to install again.

Problem with installing biztalk MSI via BTSTASK ImportApp -GAC_MSIL is not updating correctly using powershell

issue: Installing via the BizTalk Server Administration Console using import MSI works fine, installing via powershell does not. Only a few of the items that should be updated in GAC_MSIL are being updated. The powershell script finishes with
Command succeeded with 0 errors, 0 warnings.
Looking through the powershell script's log file I see some warnings:

Visible differences in the Admin console is that when I stop the application via the Gui only the main application I want is stopped. When I stop the main application via powershell using the above functions a referenced application also shuts down
and that doesn't happen using the gui. When starting the main application via the Gui it also fires up the host instances. When starting the main application up via powershell it doesn't start the host instances and I have to make separate calls to
start them again.

Update to this:
In the above script running a MSIEXEC install after importing the app updates the GAC_MSIL just fine!

I'm still very curious why the import app on the gui has a slightly different behavior. I wonder if the gui also just runs a msiexec in the background after the app imports.

How do I uninstall the MSI DOT program.

I'd like to know how I uninstall the DOT program that comes with MSI VGA drivers.
If I just uninstall the MSI driver, then install a nvidia driver, the DOT part of the old msi driver comes back. how do I remove this?
Ive tried using the driver cleaner program, in between unstalling old driver, and installing new driver, this does not help.
