Beagle crashing - Problem w/ the package?

Are the references to /home/arjan a hint to some packaging error?
This is btw on a fresh Arch install. Also, I cleaned up beagles config dir by
rm -r .beagle

How to solve crash problem when doing "package" with Indesign CS 5.5?

I've been having trouble with Indesign CS 5.5 when I use the package tool.
I work with indesign for a long time, create my document files, and when everything is done, finished, i go and do the Package.
But at a certain point it crashes and the file becomes demaged... even the original one i've worked initially!!
This happens everytime...

Problem in the package or classpath
Hello every body
I want to add a module at "jhove" which is open source: http://hul.harvard.edu/jhove/index.html
When I launch jhove like this: ./jhove -k file.pdf, it shows me more informations about this pdf.
I want that it re-knows me anathor type of file.(warc format)
Then I have to write a new module.
I try to do it following the link: http://hul.harvard.edu/jhove/writingamodule.html
I added my java code in :/home/jhove/classes/edu/harvard/hul/ois/jhove/module/Project/
The compilation works well.

At the file: jhove.tmpl
I also add this code at jhove.conf like they montionned in document:

Please can any one help me.Daniel, not sure if everything is clear now, but the way you are validating a WARC file is seriously flawed! I strongly suggest you use an existing WARC tool to do the actual parsing/validating.
I've seen more and more people on JHove's mailing list posting problems on how to create their own modules, so I decided to write a small how-to-write-your-own-module-guide.

Problem with the package execution
Hi Guys,
I am getting the problem while executin the package for 1 of the interface named PRE_SYNC_EX_ARMY_VEH_DEL.
I am looking in the operator as at the first session task is in the process(running mode) with "DROP FLOW TABLE" as the message while all other sessions tasks are in the waiting mode related to that interface named PRE_SYNC_EX_ARMY_VEH_DEL.
But when i see to description of last session task (ie Drop flow table) of the previous interface ie PRE_SYNC_AXLE_DELNR ,it is like *"Flow table is still locked in open transaction=>Drop flow table skipped"*
The source tables are EX_ARMY_VEH_TMP and CONTROL_DEL & target table is CONTROL_DEL
All the three tables are in the same schema named RTO_STAGE.Not sure what error message, is the one "est introuvable.

So, here is in short: the ForEach Loop once in its beginning of operation "senses" the files currently present in the working folder. If a new file arrives after this stage, it will not see it.
In your case it seems that the ForEach "saw" a file at the beginning, but it was gone at the time the processing wanted it for execution.
Like many above indicated, the common practice, call
it elegant or not is to indeed move the files to a different directory (working folder). This is done to avoid collisions with some other activity in that folder.
Furthermore, you can have all the files deleted using a ForEach against the working folder as say in
http://beyondrelational.com/modules/2/blogs/88/posts/10178/ssis-delete-files-from-specified-folder-using-file-system-task-in-sql-server.aspx And there is no need to delete the working folder
itself.
The job is run in SQL Server's Agent
need to be set to run using a domain proxy account as it needs write access to the file system.

Anyone having a crashing problem with the new Mac Pro?
I have a new Mac Pro purchased in January. I bought it as a front end to my very large mp3 library (170,000 mp3s and over 2,000 mp4s; media is housed on a 12 TB QNAP NAS). Since day 1 it has been a major problem. The biggest problem I have now is random crashing--can occur any time even when I am not even using the Mac Pro, making it totally unreliable and a $5,200 paperweight.
I have had several Apple Care people working on this, but after having been passed around to 5-6 different people, they still have no solution.
Anybody having a similar problem?As today I'm sure I'll not make the purchase again.
The more I look into this problem, the more people and articles I find about it: and it's more than a month and no update to fix the problem.
PC alternatives are far more interesting and they still give you the choice of building your machine.
Apple was amazing 15 years ago, where is the team of developpers that created the old Mac Pro?!
I want to be optimistic too, but I'm already collecting all the info on how to build an backup machine... since I'm using Adobe CC and other interchangeable softwares, there is no more problems swithcing from Mac to PC and vice-versa.
I hope there will be a third contender entering the market soon, with a dream computer on Linux. I am on mac because of its reputation 20 years ago, but times are changing and Apple vision seems very different now.
I'm afraid that WWDC will not announce a thing relevant for the MacPro or computers, we got used now to ear only about phones and tablets... -

o TP_STEP_FAILURE: The tp step DDIC activation could not be performed

Problem using the package Admin_Optimize.dtsx
Hi, I am trying to use the package Admin_Optimize.dtsx but everytime that i ran it it fails, i try to openend with BIDS but i am unable to edit it, any advice that how can i use this package? or where can i find documentation related to this package? and how can i edit or modify it?, I appreciate your help.

CS4 crashing problems - will the update help

I upgraded to CS4 early this year, but have long since given up on it, since every time I use CS4, either on my (Toshiba Qosmio) laptop or on my (Dell 690) Desktop PC, it crashes with ridiculous regularity (I think around 20 mins is I think the longest continuous period of work without a crash). I wrote off thousands of pounds in lost editing time with my first CS4 project because of the constant crashes. I continue, however, to use CS3 quite happily.
Premiere is the worst offender but AEX and Encore also crash a lot.
It seems that I am worse affected than most but as it happens for different reasons every time, and on two completely different PCs, both of which run CS3 quite happily, I had pretty much given up hope of ever being able to use CS4.
But what about these latest updates? Might they help?
And another thought - would CS4 run smoother on my PCs if CS3 were removed? Obviously I am not prepared to risk that at the moment but if there is precedent for that problem I could try it on my laptop.
thksCS3 and CS4 can happily coexist on the same machine. Problems only arise when CS3 is removed. That requires a new installation of CS4.
However, the constant crashing with CS4 is abnormal. The fact that it happens on two completely different machines seems to indicate that it is not hardware, but software on both machines that causes these crashes. If you want to figure is out, the first step is to supply all data as requested in the link here and all included links: Some suggestions

3d scan crash problem because the screen is reverse.
So all my drivers are up to date and I am running the new sprout software with full 3d scan. Everything is ok till I hit the scan button. The scan patterns (black and white that flashes etc) are on the main screen instead of the mat causing it to crash. How do I fix this? How do I get it back to normal it seems the sprout is reading as one screen and not two causing a reverse in the scan.
When I first got my Sprout, I had the same thing happen after video drivers and trying to see what would happen if I flipped the primary video from the display to the projector.I ended up doing a full reset of the OS back to factory state, and that did get 3D scanning working correctly again. In my case, this was after the first 4 hours of use, so a reset was not a horrible thing for me to do. I did try for about an hour to get the 3D scanning to work before I started the reset of the OS, but I couldn't figure which of the settings I had done had caused the problem. At this point, I have to assume it was something I had done that caused the structured light show to start showing up on the display. None of the settings I tried afterwards corrected that issue, and it didn't impact 2D scanning.

How do I solve the crashing problem with the '11 version of iMovie?
imovie seems to have trouble with optimizing or building an interface for my older videos. If is delete them it get futher into the process and crashes again. Is there a patch for this or a process I need to follow?
Well if I follow him, he creates an Exposure Adjustment Layer.
Then he cranks up the Exposure, lightening the entire body, which he does not want. It's only the head.
So leaving the Exposure set to where he put it, he selects that adjustment layer, clicks on that white thumbnail mask first, then paints
using the brush and black. What this does is "hides" or Masks the exposure effect where he paints, it doesn't paint the picture black.
He finds having to "mask" the entire body a lot of work. So he changes the mask to black by inverting it, and changes the swatch to white.
Then being sure the black mask thumbnail is selected, he paints the head with the white color, punching a hole in the mask so the exposure setting comes through on the face.
Does that make sense? -
Problem installing a package from AUR
I'm not expecting anyone to install this package just to try and answer my question but,,
I have /home on a 10 gig space ext3 and it's only 2% full.
When I try and install doom3-phantasm, the package downloads, builds and when it's time to install a window says not enough space to install.
No way this single game is over 9.5 gigs.
I'm not even seeing where it's trying to install to.
Is this a problem with the package build or am I not seeing something?I wrote the pkgbuild, so I've got it installed

Touch persistently crashing - problems with USB/iTunes/Windows 7?
Hi!
I received a 64gb Touch for Christmas and have a persistent crashing problem. The Touch appears to be randomly crashing across any app or even just playing music - there seems to be no common link. This could be once in a few hours or repeatedly 4/5 times in succession.
It's possible I have a faulty unit but wonder also if I may have an issue with updating/syncing as any sync that takes a reasonable amount of time disconnects and reconnects several times. I had this on my 1st gen Shuffle also - it's almost as though something is disconnecting the USB port and then reconnecting it. I'll mention at this point that I have no other USB related issues - I can run a backup of several hours to a USB harddisk and have no issues and no other USB device has had any sort of problem. If there is a USB issue, it's only happening with iTunes and my iPod(s).
My theory then is that the initial upgrade of the Touch to 3.1.2 on first sync is being corrupted in some way because of the disconnecting issue and that then is causing the crashing as the os is unstable. The Touch has been reinstalled 3 times since purchase and each time having the disconnection issue appear and the resulting persistent crashing.
Hopefully someone can tell me I'm wrong/right in my theory and maybe suggest a way I can fix the disconnection problem so I can at least try a clean reinstall of the Touch and see if that solves the crashing problem before I send the unit back.
Cheers!I bought my iPod Touch 32gb last week and as soon as I plugged it in iTunes told me to update to v3.1.2 (came with v3.1.1 installed.) I accepted to install v3.1.2 and it finished installing then restarted. It flashed up in iTunes then disconnected and the ipod went blank, then came up with the apple log for about 1 or 2 minutes, then flashed up again in itunes. It then kept restarting and dissapearing. I left it doing this for about 15 minutes then unplugged the usb lead. It then restarted and all seemed fine.
I had put a couple of albums on. Then I sorted out some more music and done another sync & the **** thing got stuck in the restart loop again.
This was on my laptop which has Windows vista.
I then thought maybe the update to v3.1.2 had gone wrong so i reinstalled it on my main pc. It didn't get stuck in the restarting loop so I thought I had solved the problem. I put my music on my main pc (Windows 7) and done a resync and the blasted thing got stuck in restart loop again.
My son bought his 8GB touch this week and his came with v3.1.2 allready installed and he hasn't had a single problem with it. I hadn't downloaded any apps for mine but he has loads of them and it hasn't crashed once.
I am taking mine back to the shop tomorrow as i have had it less than 10 days.
Am not sure what it is but it is very annoying. I hope the replacement i get works properly.
