Check whether your webutil.olb is subclassed properly or whether the olb file is available in runtime environment..

  • Webutil - java bean not found issue when openning the form another time

    Hello,
    I have a form which uses webutil and is called from another form (using CALL_FORM), the code runs from the when-window-activated trigger and it works well.
    But after the form closes (EXIT_FORM), and then called again (CALL_FORM(...,HIDE) it shows a message that the file java bean was not found....
    can someone help?

    Hello,
    Maybe this comes from the HIDE parameter. Actually, the bean area have to be shown (so its visible property must be true and the canvas must be displayed) to be taken into account.

    shikha...

    Hi Shika,
    Probably, the issue could be because of any one of the following.
    <br>
    <br>
    1. Check whether you have added $OARCLE_HOME\forms90\java\frmwebutil.jar in the default.env under $ORACLE_HOME\Forms90\server folder.
    <br>
    <br>
    2. Check whether you have added the virtual directory
    <virtual-directory virtual-path="/webutil" real-path="$OARCLE_HOME/forms90/webutil" />
    in the file orion-web.xml under $ORACLE_HOME\j2ee\DevSuite\application-deployments\forms\forms90web folder
    <b<i>Correctly</i></b>

    HTH.

  • WebUtil 1.0.6 - GetClientInfo bean not found.

    I'm using Developer 10g Version 10.1.2.0.2 and the latest available Webutil-package 1.0.6.

    # webutil.cfg - WebUtil default configuration file
    # This file provides all of the configuration settings for webutil. These are
    # divided into the following sections:
    # 1. Logging Options
    # 2. Installation Options
    # 3. FileUpload and Download Options
    # 1. Server Side Logging Options for logging errors and log messages
    # You must set logging.enabled to true to allow mid-tier logging. Without this
    # mid-tier logging will not take place no matter what PL/SQL or URL options
    # are supplied to switch it on. Once logging is enabled the other settings come
    # into play.
    # Details
    # logging.file : Defines the file name and location of the log file.
    # Note that WebUtil does no log file management. You may
    # need to manually clean this file up from time to time.
    # logging.enabled : Can be TRUE or FALSE
    # logging.errorsonly : Can be TRUE or FALSE. Setting to true will ensure that
    # only errors and not normal informational log messages
    # are written to the log file. For product use this would
    # normally be set to TRUE
    # logging.connections: Can be TRUE or FALSE. Setting to true will cause each
    # connection from a client using WebUtil to write into
    # the log as it sets up.
    logging.file=
    logging.enabled=FALSE
    logging.errorsonly=FALSE
    logging.connections=FALSE
    # 2. Installation Options
    # WebUtil needs to download some files to the client in order to perform
    # certain integration operations such as OLE or Registry Access. These files
    # are downloaded the first time that you access one of the functions that need
    # them. You have to define the location of these files on the server
    # Details
    # install syslib.location : The virtual path to the directory holding the

    # start at 1
    install.syslib.location=/webutil
    # Change size and version if necessary, like when upgrading the library.

  • Bean not found in WU_TEST_106.fmb

    Hi,
    I'm using Developer Suite 10g and WebUtil 10.1.2.0.
    When I load the testform WU_TEST_106.fmb in Form Builder 10.1.2.0.2 there is no problem (WEBUTIL_CANVAS shows without errors), so I think that my installation is correct.
    At runtime, however, I get error message "oracle.forms.webutil.clientinfo.GetClientInfo bean not found. WEBUTIL_CLIENTINFO.GET_SYSTEM_PROPERTY will not work".
    My frmwebutil.jar and jacob.jar files are in directory /forms/java.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I'm also getting the same java console output. What is the url or form structure used to ensure that I am properly using formsweb.cfg?

    Hi -
    Webutil.jar is with older version. Now it goes with frmwebutil.jar.
    It is working now, I opened a TAR with Oracle and that was helpful.
    From Oracle:
    This issue can have various causes.
    1) Lack of olb at compile time
    The Note 270940.1 Oracle Forms WebUtil : Technical FAQ mentions the following
    lead:
    Ensure that the FMX was generated with no error messages. E.g. if webutil.olb
    is not on FORMS_PATH, the error message could be overlooked even though the FMX
    is generated.
    2) Lack of jar at runtime
    normally using config=webutil allows to have archive=....,frmwebutil.jar,...
    so should not be the case here
    3. Lack of bean in custom form A custom form should have followed a step such as
    Open webutil.olb, and Subclass (not Copy) the Webutil object to the form.
    ( as mentioned in step 9 of Note 333385.1 Kickstarting WebUtil 1.06 in
    Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2 on Windows )
    4. If the error continues, please download the webutil test form WU_TEST_106.FMB fro
    m:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/webutil/webutil.htm = >
    Webutil Demo
    or directly from:
    http://otn.oracle.com/products/forms/htdocs/webutil/Webutil_demo.zip
    5. generate the fmx ( ensuring the webutil.olb and webutil.pll are in the
    FORMS_PATH )
    6. Make sure that when called WEBUTIL in a new-form-instance-trigger when the bean is registered, otherwise, this error will
    arise.
    From Me:
    1. Form compiled correctly with no errors. However, FORMS90_PATH is not set with
    webutil.olb and webutil.pll. So I went added in FORMS90_PATH.
    2. Don't see any issues with config=webutil, archive=frmwebutil.jar, jacob.jar
    3. I did subclass the pll. Don't see any issues.
    4. I recompiled and tested, still gets the same error.
    5. I went downloaded the demo form WU_TEST_106.FMB
    6. I compiled and reran the form, got an error saying no attached libraries found.
    So I went and renamed webutil.pll to webutil_lib.pll. Reattached to the
    forms.
    7. No I get an different error.
    Oracle.forms.webutil.clientinfo.GetClientInfo bean not found.
    WEBUTIL.CLIENTINFO.GET_SYSTEM_PROPERTY will not work
    This was resolved my changing the URL to
    http://Host:8890/forms90/f90servlet?form=WU_TEST_106&config=webutil
    Thanks for your support.
    Thank You,
    Prashant

  • WebUtil:  oracle.forms.webutil.host.Host bean not found

    Hi. This is my first attempt using WebUtil. The following code is in my When-New-Form-Instance trigger:
    client_host('N:\TTMS\ITS\vbasic\compiled\MenuUpdate.exe');
    This is the error I receive:
    oracle.forms.webutil.host.Host bean not found
    I've included my formsweb.cfg below for your reference. Note that the application is using the [ttmsmenu] configuration.
    Thanks in advance for your help with this problem.

    # formsweb.cfg defines parameter values used by the FormsServlet (frmservlet)
    # This section defines the Default settings. Any of them may be overridden in the
    # following Named Configuration sections. If they are not overridden, then the
    # values here will be used.
    # The default settings comprise two types of parameters: System parameters,
    # which cannot be overridden in the URL, and User Parameters, which can.
    # Parameters which are not marked as System parameters are User parameters.
    # SYSTEM PARAMETERS
    # These have fixed names and give information required by the Forms
    # Servlet in order to function. They cannot be specified in the URL query
    # string. But they can be overridden in a named configuration (see below).
    # Some parameters specify file names: if the full path is not given,
    # they are assumed to be in the same directory as this file. If a path
    # is given, then it should be a physical path, not a URL.
    # USER PARAMETERS
    # These match variables (e.g. %form%) in the baseHTML file. Their values
    # may be overridden by specifying them in the URL query string
    # (e.g. "http://myhost.mydomain.com/forms/frmservlet?form=myform&width=700")
    # or by overriding them in a specific, named configuration (see below)

    Dumb dumb dumb.
    I was running this form out of Form Builder 10g. At some point I changed the Application Server URL (Edit => Preferences => Runtime menus) from:
    http://ssbuechl2.div16.ibm.com:8889/forms/frmservlet?config=ttmsmenu
    to:
    http://ssbuechl2.div16.ibm.com:8889/forms/frmservlet?
    So my customized configuration with all the WebUtil references was not being referenced and I was getting the error.
    Dumb dumb dumb.

  • Oracle.forms.webutil.capi.capifunctions bean not found

    Hi...I'm trying to pick host name using webutil through the following command behind a push button in my form:
    :Pc_Nom     :=     Webutil_Clientinfo.Get_Host_Name;
    But it gives the following error:
    oracle.forms.webutil.capi.capifunctions bean not found
    webutil_c_api.rebind_parameter will not work.
    Can u tell me where is the problem???

    Hi!
    Do you have referenced the webutil object group from the webutil.olb?
    Take a look in the java console if webutil is registred.

  • WebUtil  - oracle.forms.webutil.ole.oleFunctions bean not found.

    All,
    We're using webutil 1.0.6 on forms 9.0.4. Stuck up with the following error at runtime 'oracle.forms.webutil.ole.oleFunctions bean not found.'.
    In metalink, we noticed that webutil 1.0.6 should't be used with 9.0.4 unless some modification made on PLL. Unfortunately in OTN we can't find webutil 1.0.5 source version.
    Anyone please tell us from where we can get WebUtil 1.0.5 source or how can we solve this problem.
    Thank you very much.
