Beasrv.exe The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a use

Hi guys,
I am trying to upgrade WLS from 10.3.3 to 10.3.5
But I got the following:
Fatal error occurring during the installation. beasrv.exe(The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open).
I search in taskmgr this proccess but it does not here.
Also restart the server and nothing. And also unzip again the patch to another folder and it does not work.
Any help guys?

Do you have a node manager (or WebLogic server) installed as a service?
These should be visible in the task manager as beasvc.exe.
To check if there are services installed, open your service environment and look for the entries
such as: Oracle WebLogic NodeManager or beasvc domain_name.

We have recently moved our production servers and since the move have been experiencing an intermittent (but frequent) error when processing our OLAP cube.
The error messages presented are:
"Error: The following error occurred during a file operation: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open"
"Error: Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while processing index for the <Partition Name> partition of the <Measure Group Name> measure group of the <Cube Name> cube from the <Database Name> database"
I assume the second message is a consequence of the first error. The partitions and measure groups seem to vary each time the process is run.
It appears from similar threads that this is usually caused by backups or anti-virus applications locking the files that Analysis Services is using the process the cube. I have ensured that there are no backups running at the time of processing and
I have disabled anti-virus programs without success.
I have also created a new version of the cube (using the deployment wizard) which deployed without error but then encountered the same error when processing for a second time. There was nothing (client application wise) using this cube when it failed
to process.
As I mentioned earlier, this problem is intermittent. Sometimes the cube will successfully process but usually it fails to process.
We have not encountered this error in our previous production environment or in any of our development environments.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any suggestions on possible solutions?

Hey all, I have get the "the requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open" when i tried to save the my ui5 works on eclipse after i close all sessions about the related sources. After app. 5 min later, it fixed.

it seems that there is no exact solution about the issue, i thought that this is about the apache session of the related application, apache thought that the session still on going although i ended it. it is a generic problem as i thought when i google it. hope that i can find an exact solution. When trying to save an image under the "save for web & devices" I get this error message, "The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open." I have the latest driver on my computer. For a while I would get this message now and then, now it is all the time.

I have this problem too. It only affects Photoshop. It doesn't happen every time I try to save for web, but it happens on all kinds of files, even new files that I have created from scratch in Photoshop. Sometimes, all I have to do is create a new file and click save for web, and I get the error.
It doesn't happen if I turn off my Antivirus program - Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security.
So I would think it was a problem with Trend Micro, but it doesn't occur with any other program and I can save files with Photoshop, unless I use the Save For Web option.

Illustrator CC 2014 won't launch (Could not complete the requested operation) even after fresh install (3 times), anyone know how to solve? (Windows 8.1)

Hi guys, my Illustrator CC 2014 won't launch, getting an error message "Could not complete the requested operation", this is not a specific file issue I can't launch Illustrator stand alone. I've un-installed and re-installed about 3 times and contacted support but they haven't been able to solve as of yet. It's a relatively fresh install of windows 8.1 and no custom fonts have been added. I've tried deleting the preferences folders and launching and that has not had any effect. No idea what else I can do, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Forgot to mention I have also tried running Illustrator as administrator and that Illustrator was running perfectly fine on this computer since install (about 2 weeks) before this started happening.

Hi Jacob, I decided to completely remove the entire creative suite from my computer, ran the cleaning tool (although some errors showed in the log file) and it now works! Let's just pray it stays this way haha. Thanks for the suggestion.

Error 58 The specified server cannot perform the requested operation

Hello,
I will try to explain the situation as brief as possible. Next to our current existing MDT environment (MDT2010 on Windows 2008 R2) we are no building a new system (MDT2013 on WIndows 2012 R2). We have multiple sites and the MDT deployment share is setup
in DFRS share so every site is getting the same deployment information and replication is done automatically. This has been working firn for 3 years with the old system and also with the new environment it was working fine in our own subnet. But when after
i have setup the remote MDT and WDS servers it is not working in these remote sites. The images are loading fine but for some reason the win PE is not connecting to the shares on the windows 2012 server in our site. When i manuualy connect from a remote win
PE to our server i always get the error: system error 58 has occured. The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.
I have been doing some troubleshooting and it seems i only got this issue when i connect from win PE 5.0 to a windows 2012 R2 server in a remote subnet.
When i use win PE 5.0 and connect to a windows 2012 R2 share in the same subnet it connects fine.
When i use win PE 5.0 and connect to a windows 2008 R2 share in a remote subnet it connects fine
When i use an older win PE and i connect to a windows 2012 R2 share in a remote subnet it connects fine
When i use win PE 5.0 and connect to a windows 2012 R2 share in a remote subnet it does NOT connect and gives the above error
The problem is that this problem also does not occure in Windows 7, after the machine was build by MDT and get into the OS i can connect without a problem to the windows 2012 R2 shares.

"The specified server cannot perform the requested operation" when rpc from server 2003 to Windows 7

I am having problems where all my Windows 2003 servers cannot rpc to 2 of my Windows 7 workstations, error message is "The specified server cannot perform the requested operation".
All the machines are in workgroup environment.
Windows 7 workstations: desk1, desk2, desk3, desk4, desk5, desk6
Windows 2003 servers: server1, server2, server3, server4, server5
Windows 2008 server: server6
From any Windows 7 workstation I can rpc to any other machines,
\\desk1\d$, no problem
From any Windows 2003 server I can rpc to all the machines exception desk4 and desk5, they give the "The specified server cannot perform the requested operation". However, desk4 and desk5 can rpc to any other machines (including the Windows 2003
servers), no problem
From Windows 2008 rpc to desk4 and desk5 also no problem.
I also have no problem rpc between any of the Windows 2003 servers,
\\server2\d$ from server3, no problem.
I turned off the firewall at desk5 and desk4, just to try, but didn't help, same problem. This show firewall is not the cause of the problem.
Desk4 and Desk5 used to run Windows 2012 for 1 year and recently I downgraded them Windows 7 Professional x64. When they were running as Windows 2012, those Windows 2003 servers have no problem rpc to desk5 and desk4.
The issue is thus lying between desk4 and desk5 with Windows 2003 only\
Any suggestions?

Trouble exporting: "the requested export operation cannot be performed"

I've been exporting different sequences (from the same project) using the same same settings all week but now suddenly when I try to export a sequence I keep getting the message: "the requested export operation cannot be performed". I have not changed any settings that I can think of and am really puzzled as to why FCP won't let me export. Also I keep getting a lot of "general error" messages while klicking in the timeline of the sequence. At first I thought it had something to do with too little hard disk space, but surely 380 GB should be plenty? Could it have to do with too little memory (running imac 3.06 GHz, 2GB memory)? Seems strange if it's a memory issue as I've been able to export all my other sequences using the same settings.
I'm exporting HDV 1080i footage to HD h264.
Any advice much appreciated!

First, do you have any cmyk graphics?
Second, in my workflow, I almost always export from fcp with sequence settings and then do the compression in compressor. You might try that.
2gigs is not alot of memeory. You might try copying JUST your sequence to a new project and trying to export with just the new project open. Also, do you have plenty of hard disk space available on your startup drive. This is crucial as OSX swaps out memory to your startup drive when it runs out of ram.

I cannot see the columns information and have to refresh. After this error, if I switch to Data tab from the default Columns tab, I usually get another error that says:
Connection is currently busy. Try again?
[Try Again] [Abort]
I never had these errors using Toad for Oracle tool.

Vendor code 17027Searching the forum for that issue only yields hits for prior SQL Developer releases. Be aware that the release shipped with DB 11g is rather out-of-date so, if you haven't already downloaded and installed the latest release (3.2.20.09.87), I would recommend upgrading. Easiest is to select the 32-bit version with JDK included.

Deduplication: There is insufficient disk space to perform the requested operation

Hello,
on my Win2012R2 Fileserver is a 550GB disk with userdrives.
I startet Data Deplication but after 100 Optimized Files the job stopped and I cannot start it again.
If I check the Event Log I find:
Data Deplication could not initialize change log under \\?\Volume{ID}}.... The error code was 0x8056530a, There is unsufficient disk space to perform the requested operation. (Event ID 4119)
Then I tried to unoptimize the files with Start-DedupJob -type Unoptimization -volume "E:" but I got another error:
HRESULT 0x8056533a, This kon will not run at the scheduled time because it requires more memory than is currently available.
On the 550GB disk I have about 140GB free diskspace.
The server have 8GB RAM and use 2,3GB at the moment.
CPU is at 0-2%
SYSTEM have full access on the drive, there is no SWAP or boot file on it.
Any more ideas?
I already tried a reboot... ;)

Test 1 succeeds, returning expected results, and Test 2 fails returning the error mentioned above.
Other articles I've found so far don't seem to apply to my case. I am not creating any explicit transactions in my code. When I use OPENQUERY, I am able to do the insert just fine, but not when I use EXEC @MDX at LinkedServer.
Unfortunately in some variations of the query, I run into the 8800 character limit on OPENQUERY, so I need to use this other approach.
Any ideas?
