Beasvc fails to start, a solution

I had a problem in starting WebLogic Server as a Windows service. The service didn't start and reported the message "The service did not report an error".
All the parameters of WebLogic Server were correct, so the problem was elsewhere. The problem was that the domain home directory had no permissions given to local system. After I set permissions, the service started ok.

Is there a solution to the 'iPod Service failed to start' install problem?

Like a lot of people, I have this problem that when I try to install iTunes 7 on Windows I get this error at the end:
Service 'iPod Service' (iPod Service) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
I tried various methods to solve this and none of them worked.
Is there finally a solution from Apple regarding this issue?
I am about to purchase an iPod Classic and this is a major drawback for me.

Methods that I already tried (that I can remember):
1. Uninstall iTunes + QuickTime and delete everything from the hard drive that's related to apple, including the registry, used CCleaner and install iTunes 7.5 - didn't work.
2. run msconfig, disable all services (with MS services hidden) and startup apps, restarting and trying to install it again - didn't work.
3. Trying to start the service manually with services.msc during the installation when the error appears - gives me an error.
I did manage to install iTunes 7.0.2 (from OldVersion.com) and I tried to install iTunes 7.5 on top of it with the same results.

We're experiencing a growing problem with our users in several different domains running in to Microsoft Office 2013 x32 'activation' issues. We use KMS for licensing, which works properly, but some of the machines (~20-30 out of 1000+) sporadically
throw the following error:
'Microsoft Office can't find your license for this application. Microsoft Office will now exit.'
We know it's not an issue with the licenses per se, since they work on and off and we can force KMS activation correctly / talk to the KMS servers.
It appears to be an issue with the Software Protection service not starting properly. In Event Viewer, we see the following:
'Software protection service failed to start due to the following error- the service did not respond in a timely fashion.
Event 7000'
This is occurring on a variety of machines in a variety of environments, all fully patched with the latest Office updates. It's inconsistent, and the 'manually restart the Software Protection Service' solution is not viable as it's occurring on many
different workstations. Office repairs have also been unsuccessful.
Has anyone else come across this? Or have any idea why the Software Protection Service might be sporadically failing? Maybe an Office update in the last 2-3 months?

PLEASE HELP!
My Lenovo SL500 is not working at all - I get error: "Windows Vista failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause"
I tried the following on my Lenovo:
Windows repair menu = "windows cannot be repaired"
Lenovo Rescue and Repair
Rescued my files from Hard-drive (copied to external hdd)
Restore System = Failed
Diagnose hardware = HDD passes all tests
Don't know what else to do with = Boot from another device ? Access BIOS?
Because I do not have the windows vista install disks
I purchased and downloaded the recovery disks from neosmart.net
The neosmart windows vista recovery disks DO NOT WORK = Error is "Unable to find any valid Windows partitions on this computer".
The Hard-drive exists because I was able to back-up files from HD through (Lenovo Rescue & Recovery Rescue files). So there is a hard-drive.
I don't know what to do next?
Last resort is to Factory Restore via either the Lenovo R&R or Windows Vista Recovery Disks (neosmart)?
Will I still have windows?

Yes, if you can restore the system through Rescue & Recovery, then you will still have WIndows on your machine, but all your files will be deleted from the hard drive. Luckily, you have already saved those files elsewhere. I would recommend trying to restore the system and see if that works.

I want to know if i copy all of the music in my itunes folder to an external without consolidating can i still transfer all my itunes music from my current windows xp pc to a brand new one and have my current itunes library in my new pc? Basically i just want to know 3 things: What exactly does consolidating the itunes library do? Can i copy, paste, and transfer my itunes library to an external and from there to a new pc? Will i be able to transfer my itunes library without consolidating the files?

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). Bridge CS3 (Windows XP) fails to start because Symlib.dll was not found

Bridge CS3 (Windows XP) fails to start because Symlib.dll was not found? How do I fix this? I've re-installed and the auto updater has run...I even downloaded and ran the patcher application? By the way Bridge CS3 doesn't show up in the CS3 program list in the start menu but it is installed in my program files - I've tried launching it directly from there as well. Bridge CS2 is operating just fine.
Update: I installed and ran the Adobe Support Advisor, resulting in - Issues: "The module found no solutions to report for the selected log file."
I tried to package the report and the error read: "The size of the package is too large to be handled with the current configuration! Please contact Adobe Support for additional information."
I opened a web based report/case number at the Adobe Support Portal about the missing Symlib.dll (including the Adobe Support Advisor error). Their response was: We regret to inform you that complimentary support for your product is not available and/or has expired.

Did Bridge work before? If so, reset preferences by holding down the Ctrl key when starting Bridge. If successful you will get a Reset Window, choose all 3 options.

PC Suite fails to start - 'ConnAPI.DLL was not fou...

I'm running Windows Vista and PC Suite version 7.0.8.2 fails to open up due to the following message: 'This application has failed to start because ConAPI.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.'. I have re-installed several times and the same error message occurs. This started happening after I installed some other software but I'm not sure which, as I am building my new laptop and am installing a lot of software. It might have been Quicken 2008 but I'm not sure. A Google search for this issue reveals that possibly Adobe software might be the culprit. I do have Adobe Photoshop Elements and I did move the NokiaManager.mox file out of that product as recommended by others, but this didn't fix the problem. I also uninstalled 'PC Connectivity Solution' in order to try to fix the issue, since that software contained ConnAPI.dll (which I presume is also from Nokia and I'm not sure what installed that.) After uninstalling PC Connectivity Solution and reinstalling Nokia PC Suite, I got the same error. This time, I believe ConnAPI.dll is not on my system and clearly Nokia PC Suite did not install it even though it requires it!
I could switch to some other connectivity software but I have Lotus Organizer and want to sync. with that and I don't believe anything else syncs with Lotus Organizer these days.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what is the solution?

Here is the solution. BUT It does not work for windows 7 I did not find solution form Nokia!!!! ???? Basszák meg! Connapi.dll is a connectivity application programming interface (API) developed and used by Nokia for their PC connectivity solutions. The most common usage of connapi.dll is through the Nokia PC Suite software. Although this dll file is not a critical system component, if you are using phone-computer connectivity on a regular basis, you should avoid messing with connapi.dll. You can find the file online if you delete or damage it by accident, but the possibility of a corrupt or infected download is likely as you are never too sure of the quality of a dll file download. Most non-system dll file names are used by virus authors to create trojans and worms, Errors occurring in relation to the connapi.dll file are usually because of disabling, missing or damaging the particular file. The most common errors and solutions are discussed below. 1) “ConnAPI.dll not found. Try reinstalling the application” Uninstall all Nokia software, especially “PC Connectivity Solution” - the problem is caused because of it. Then, reinstall Nokia PC Suite and everything will be all right. 2) “ConnAPI.dll is not a valid windows image” Connapi.dll is not a standard Windows file, so this error should actually be ignored. If the message persists, simply delete the file, uninstall all Nokia software, and reinstall a fresh, updated version. 3) “Connapi.dll is missing and the program cannot run” The reason for this error is that you have uninstalled Nokia software from your computer, but the system still recognizes it as existing. "Apple Mobile Device" failed to start. itunes does not recognize my iPhone4.

I decided it was time to resync the music on my iPhone since its been months. I begin the sync and after a minute or so, my iTunes suddenly does not recognize my iPhone and freezes. I honestly have no idea what happened but was undaunted.
OS is MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1
Now, after trying:
- updating to iTunes 10.6.3, which stops installing after a popup saying "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. With the options Abort Retry or Ignore. Retry does nothing. Ignore allows iTunes to install but it doesn't recognize my phone still which is all I care to use iTunes for.
- uninstalling all iTunes, Apple, Quicktime, and Bonjour software, which was difficult to do since you have to follow a particular order or else they wont actually uninstall.
- performing a registry clean using CC Cleaner
- wiping my compter's apple related Temp files in app data..
- restarting with a clean boot... updating all drivers.. updating windows..
I am becoming quite daunted.
I have done essentially every single thing I could find that might resolve this error. I restarted and tried again (this is the third or maybe four time) and it still will not install.
I cannot get any third party software to recognize the phone either since I need that Apple Mobile Device. I could always sync my library with Spotify but that's cumbersome and makes me not like my beautiful iPhone.
Any help would be AMAZING. I've run out of ideas.

Just an FYI, I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and had just downloaded Itunes 10.7 for this platform.
Please know that I have NEVER plugged any Apple device into this great computer.
I have the new Iphone 5 READY to plugin and in ANTICIPATION of installing that phone; I first wanted to start by installing Itunes without any hardware potentially messing up the works.
I have the exact same problem as reported here and in about 100 places here at Apple. Please note this system has never seen ANY of these apple applications including quicktime, Itunes, Bonjour, or anything else from Apple for that matter.
So basically, I'm stuck. I've read the articles at about 20 sites now and it looks like this is a SEVERE and widespread problem; however, I have yet to find a "real" solution.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I'm an IT/Telecom Expert and it took me 3 hours to get the Iphone 5 setup and working properly (mainly because of the screen not working sideways for 95% of the configuration options and being forced to fat finger settings) including everything working with Icloud hosted contacts, facebook, a few networks and getting my gmail out of the way (of Icloud and facebook) and finally getting everything rocking, only to hit the wall when it came to Itunes. Kind of a drag if you ask me. (I'm thinking the Samsung Galaxy III that I returned to get this thing might have been less grief; but I guess we'll see).
Anyone with a real fix, please reply! I could use the help BEFORE I try to plug this phone into my computer!

When trying to download the new version of ITunes, I kept encountering a dialog box that said there was a problem with the APS Daemon.exe. Having read a few threads about the problem, I uninstalled ITunes and tried downloading the new version. Now, I'm getting a message saying: Service Apple Mobile Device (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
I'm the only ITunes user on my laptop. I have no idea how to verify this. I've tried a few suggestions from other discussion threads, but none of them work. Beyond frustrating.

I have been trying all morning to re-install iTunes, but continually receive the following errors:

"iTunes was not installed correctly, Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)"

I have found a solution on iTunes support for the Error 7 message and followed the instructions, but the problem was not resolved. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes several times (I am doing all of this through the administrator sign on on my Windows 7 PC), and still receive these errors. I have purchased a registry cleaning tool to try to fix the .dll error and it was not resolved. I can't even get iTunes to install properly on my computer and have lost all use of the program. I am at a loss as to what to do!! Can anyone help!!

Ok Markus, i did the following
First i downloaded vcredist_<platform>.exe from Microsoft web page and retry the installation
And the following error i got
