Beats wireless headphones

I have a MacBook Air from mid 2012.  I wanted to know the Beats Studio HD wireless Headphones are compatible with my Mac?  I have issues syncing my Phone6  through Bluetooth so I wasn't sure.  Thanks

Hey Imaginos7, Volume is your issue with Beats? Really... Quality of the sound reproduction, durability, overall quality of the product would be much higher on my list of issues. Imaginos, Instead of going for max. volume, and having to deal with some permanent hearing damage (tinnitus) for the last 20 years+/-, (that little ringing in my ears that never goes away-- sometimes I swear the people next to me should be able to hear it), let me give you some advice... "TURN IT DOWN!!!" The ringing never goes away, it is with you, everywhere you go, and it get's madding at times. The only thing I can find for beats headphones output is 115Db, that's just shy of jets taking off and rock concerts! Anything over 80Db, (about the noise of a lawn mower from 5 to 10 feet) for more than 30 minutes is causing you damage, anything over 120Db only takes a few seconds to a few minutes, 140Db+ and you go deaf in seconds! If the volume is more than speaking volume from your headphones-- your doing damage. Now, with that said, If your attempting to drown out the outside world, invest in a good set of noise canceling headphones, unless you like the idea of always having to list to a sharp high C. (And just incase your wondering most of my damage came from racing bikes, from the wind rushing pass my ears for hours on end, the rest of background noise where I work, a few concerts, wearing headphones and age, or so the doctors tell me. And there is nothing that can be done to stop that fool ringing, protect your hearing, OK). Cheers.

  • Beats Wireless Headphones Don't Go Loud Enough

I just bought a pair or wireless Beats headphones to listen to music on my Ipod but I am disappointed that the maximum sound volume is nowhere near loud enough for me.
I got my friend to try them and he said they were too quiet as well so its not just me.
Has anyone else experienced the same thing or got any advice about a way to increase the volume?

  • Can't pair my beats wireless headphones via bluetooth

My air "sees" the headphones, but can't connect.

Contactizer does not support dialling via Bluetooth for the iPhone (partly because the iPhone does not have this functionality).

  • Poor connection between Iphone5 and Beats Wireless Over-Ear Headphones

It used to work without any problems between my Iphone4s and my beats wireless headphones.
But when im using my beats to my iphone5 it seems to drop the connectivity while listening to music even thoug im having my phone in my pocket!
Is there any fix for this or does the iphone4s has a better bluetooth adapter?

Hi guys, here's a list of the hardware that i have, iOS device, iOS version installed on the iDevices and the results of bluetooth connectivity.
    - Dr Dre Wireless Headphones
    - iPhone 3GS on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)
    - iPhone 4 on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)
    - iPhone 4S on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 4.0 Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)
    - iPhone 5 on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 4.0 Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)
    - iPad 2 on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)
    - iPad 3 on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 4.0 Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)
    Now for the results:
    - Every iDevices listed up there USED TO WORK perfectly on iOS 5 except iPhone 5 because this iDevice didn't exist.
    - iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and the iPad 2 all WORK FLAWLESSLY with the Dr Dre Wireless Headphones even on iOS 6 ... my guess on that is because the hardware on those iDevices support bluetooth 2.1 + EDR only (Apple SPECS).
    - iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and iPad 3 all DON'T WORK with the Dr Dre Wireless Headphones on iOS 6 ... my guess on that is because the hardware on those iDevices support bluetooth 4.0 (Apple SPECS).
It would seem that Apple is not using the same HARDWARE DRIVER and this seems to the basis of the problems with bluetooth headphone (i can't confirm anything for you people with car problems but BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES i can confirm since i have several brands with all the same results).
The problem that i have and i'm pretty sure most of you have with bluetooth headphones is connectivity DROPS or sound THAT STOPS PLAYING although the iPhone STILL THINK that it's sending sound to your headphones BUT no sound can be heard.
I will send this BUG report to Apple and see what happens ... and if you have the same problems ... why don't you  send my bug report as well unless you guys think it's not clear enough or not well documented.
If i turn the iPhone bluetooth off and then back on WITHOUT touching the headphones it works for a couple of minutes and then it stops again.

  • I'm using beats by dre wireless headphones

hi there i'm using beats by dre wireless headphones, but i have a delay on the audio when watching videos, can anyone help me solve this?

don't believe it's a beats issue but a general bluetooth headset issue nor is it a iphone or ios issue but all devices could suffer from computer to smartphone
it's impossible for the iphone to know what proccesing the bluetooth headset does to the music at what
    delay that would cause
and the head set don't even know that there is any image it need to sync with
so apple could not fix it in their end
and the headset maker can't really fix it in their end
apart from not trying to improve and filter noise and the likes from the audio
because that is what takes the time that cause the delay
so maybe the solution is using the cheapests worst sounding bluetooth headset you can find
as it would not cause a delay by trying to proccess the audio

  • Does the Ipod nano 6th gen capable of sending signal to headphones. Us older folks would like to use wireless headphones versus earphones with a wire.

Is the  ipod nano 6th gen capable of sending signal to wireless headphones. I am 57 and do not like earphones and wire. Would like to get the nano. I understand the iphone 4 can use wireless headphones, but i can not wear it on my wrist like a watch. Thank you. techie mawmaw.

What is your price range. I know exactly what you are talking about. I always used headphones while mowing and I used to runt he cord through my shirt to prevent it from getting caught on the steering controls of the mower but one day the cord came untucked form my pants pocket ripping the cord straight out of the headphone itself. They were nice Sennheisers to!
I ended up replacing them with these http://en-us.sennheiser.com/wireless-bluetooth-headset-headphone-smart-mobile-phone-stereo-mm-500-x they are pricey at 330 but will last you many years if they are taken care of. Sennheisers are excellent quality. Best Buy oddly doesnt carry the 500 series they have the 450 and 550 but not the 500. Completely ignore the Beats by Dr. Dre they are horrible for the price point they are!
The noise cancellation is great and they are very comfortable. Like you I dont care for earbuds as I have tried many and they all hurt my ears and on-ear style would eventually start hurting my outer ear but these are very comfy!

  • Beats Wireless

    Hello Guys,
Can anyone please assist me with establisihing bluetooth connection between my Beats Wireless and my Macbook?
The headset does easily connect with my iphone; however, when i try to use it with my mac it pair and configures successfully but does not connect.
    Please help.

i had been having issues switching the pairing for my beats wireless between my macbook and iphone.  but i think i finally cracked it.
first, get the headphones paired with each device.  on macbook, this is done in the bluetooth dropdown menu. select "set up bluetooth device" and choose the headphones while the headphones are in pairing mode (pairing mode = flashing red and blue light, achieved by holding the power button for extra seconds).  on the iphone, this is done in settings > bluetooth > and select the beats wireless, while headphones are in pairing mode.  if you're having trouble getting the headphones to pair with either the computer or the iphone, make sure both the phone and computer have bluetooth turned on and are discoverable.  also make sure you start with the headphones off, and then hold down the power button for extra seconds (not just until the light turns blue, but until it makes an additional noise and flashes between red and blue.  for me, i think the problem was that i was turning them on, and THEN turning them into pairing mode. it works best if you go straight from "off" into "pairing mode" without releasing the button in between.
    now, to switch between devices:
First, turn off the headphones.  then turn headphones on, but go straight to pairing mode.  (so, do NOT press for a few seconds to turn it on, then press for several seconds to go into pairing mode.  instead, DO press "power" for several seconds to go straight from "off" to "pairing mode.")
Now, to connect to macbook: while headphones are in pairing mode, select them from the bluetooth dropdown menu.  select "use as audio device."  should work perfectly.
Now, if you want to switch to your iphone: power off the headphones. then turn the headphones on, but go straight into pairing mode (hold for several seconds until the light flashes blue/red, NOT for a few seconds until it goes blue). while in pairing mode, go on the phone into settings > bluetooth > and select the Beats Wireless. that should do it.  if it still doesn't work, then make sure "beats wireless" is selected from the airtunes menu in the music app (the little box with the arrow in the bottom right corner). but that should be selected automatically after pairing.
hope this helps!  i found the trick was going straight into pairing mode from a powered-off position. if i just turned on the headphones, they would immediately try pairing with the device they had last been used with.  then the headphones would get confused and just shut down.  but when i follow the steps outlines above, it switches back and forth easily every time.  i wish there was a way to do it without going into the iphone's settings every time (like you can with airtunes) but such is life.
note: if your computer doesn't have a bluetooth drop down menu in the upper right set of menus, then you can add it through System Preferences > Bluetooth > Show Bluetooth Status in the Menu Bar

  • How do you hook up wireless headphones so you can listen to Apple TV and satellite

Currently I have a direct tv satellite receiver and an Apple TV box.  I'm trying to hook up sony wireless headphones so I can hear both of them.  I watch Netflix on the Apple TV and normal TV viewing on satellite.  I'd like to be able to toggle between the two, and for the life of I cannot figure it out how to wire it up.  I have no issues getting them to work on the satellite receiver, but it's a no go for the Apple TV.
I have two audio ports on the back of the TV (one red and one white - doesn't specify in or out) and one optical port.
I also have a port a 3.5mm jack could go into and it says "services"

  • Iv upgraded to ios 6 on my iphone 4 and surprise surprise i can now no longer listen to music on my wireless headphones through bluetooth as it now jumps and loses signal just a metre or two away and especially if my hand is covering the top of the phone

Iv upgraded to ios 6 on my iphone4 and i can no longer listen to my bluetooth wireless headphones as the signal is now that poor it must be deemed in heaven cuz it no longer alive and kicking, i am not happy about this in the slightest infact its a ....... Liberty!! Iv spent lots of money on itunes for music and audiobooks and now i cant listen to them!!! Its definately not thr headphones the signal was fine with no problems at all before i updAted and now its a mockery.. Itsnot my headphones i have two sets still in the box tht i tested and its the same with them so sort it out apple

Okay, so I think I managed to fix this issue.  For anyone having the same problem, I learned that you don't have to have the same Apple ID for iTunes as you do for the other things on the phone---I didn't realize there were separate logins.  Helpful.
So I created an ID for my husband's phone.  I logged into iCloud and FaceTime with that account.  After doing so, the settings in Messages actually changed to look more like the ones I was seeing on my phone.  So I then logged into iMessage with his new account (that option to log in was not even showing before!).
The Apple ID for iTunes is still appearing as the shared one, so we can hopefully still have joint use of our purchased items.
We shall see if it works when it comes time to receive a message or download an already purchased app, but it's looking promising

  • IOS6: Beats Wireless Does Not Work Properly With Bluetooth

Half year ago, I spent 400 USD of my hard-earned money on a Beats Wireless headset (v2).... LOVE that headset... great sound when playing music and very good sound quality too when talking on the phone (iPhone 4S).
However, since "upgrading" to iOS 6, my Beats Wireless headset keeps on stopping when I play music (or skips parts of the music)... it is ANNOYING to say the least!
It's my understanding that it's a known problem, but WHY does Apple not DO anything about it??? The issue has been there for a long time now, and people who use Bluetooth in their cars have reported issues with using Bluetooth, too! Apple actually puts the lives of those drivers in danger by not fixing the problem!!
    WAKE UP, APPLE!!!
I am just SO disappointed by Apple and iOS6... I am strongly comtemplating selling my iPhone and NEVER go back to an Apple product again!!!!!

I concur.  I have the same problem with my Wireless Beats and my iPhone5.  Skipping and disconnecting mid song.  I'm hoping this will get fixed with the next update.  Funny thing is, my other bluetooth devices, jaybird, LG soundbar work fine...  I don't know who to point the finger at because it worked fine prior to upgrading my iPhone4 w/ iOS6.

  • How many sets of wireless headphones can I connect to my iPad at one time?

How many sets of wireless headphones can I connect to my iPad at one time?

Did you mean Bluetooth? One. Did you mean FM or infrared, driven from the 3.5mm output jack? Any number of them, assuming you use the same frequency to receive the stream.

  • Pairing Bravia KDL-50W829B with Wireless headphones (Sony BTN200)

Hi, Own the KDLW829 set and recently purchased a set of Sony wireless headphones. I am not sure if the bluetooth option is designed to work for headphones - I have tried pairing but haven't been successful and a google search did throw up the likelihood that the bluetooth support for this TV only works for mouse/keyboard devices. Can someone clarify? Thanks

    Hello jacksuarez7,
Greetings and thank you for your message. Based on the model you have provided KDL-50W829B, the only device supported for use with the Television is a Bluetooth mouse, it will allow you to register up to two units only.
In order to use your set of headphones it will be necessary to connect them directly to the Headphone / Audio out port available on the right rear side of your television and proceed changing the audio out setting to headphone as shown below:

  • Connecting wireless headphones to tablet

Please can someone help me! I got a new pair of Bluetooth/wireless headphones as a gift and was unable to successfully connect them to my device. It says its connected, I can play and pause a song through the headphones, but there is no sound. I know they are not broken because I was able to get them working with an android tablet. I called the headphone company, they walked me through the steps on how to connect them, and sill no luck. They are Jam Fusion headphones, model #HX-HP610 and my lenovo tablet model # A2107A-H. If someone could help, that would be great! Thanks!

Make sure the base unit is in the open.  Those headphones rely on line of sight to operate.
