hi,
i create SA,qty=250,000EA nad rate 182/,
when doing migo wrt SA for qty 90.base value is calculating correctly=90*182=16380 but bed calculating wrongly(14%),its calculating 22,930.00(it should be 2293/.)
please guid us

Hi,
If you already inward the 40 qty with correct base & Correct base excise duty, Then for next lot of 90 qty system will take the correct value. Check correctly the duty percentage & value in PO
One more thing while in warding 40 qty did you manually changed the value or system adopted the base value & excise duties from PO.
Check & confirm.

Hi Gurus,
One of our user want to post Invoice, with Tax amount more than Net value of goods.
Net amount of goods is 31.45 NZD, where as Tax amount is 99.43NZD.
Tax code assigned to PO is with 12.5%.
System is not allowing to post tax amount more than 12.5% of base, as tax code is assigned.
Kindly let me know, how we can post IV with more tax amount.

then also for reason u wnat to post then for posting that invoice go to FTXP and change the tax % in such a way that tax amount will match ur requirement
may be 316% so that the sustem while doing invoice willtake thie % and calculate tax
then again change the tax code % to 12.5
or
IN miro only u have a GL tab, i n that GL tab u can add tax gl account and add the tax amount so that it will come what u want .
if gl tab is not comming then active it in
spro--mm --logistic invioice ver incoming invoiceActivate Direct Posting to G/L Accounts and Material Account

Set more then 3 values in link

Hello,
i am using oracle 10g apex 3.2.
I created a interactive report,with shows 5 columns in page 1.
Now 2nd column i made it as link.
On clicking that link it goes to page 3.
When i click the link i want to set few items of page 3 with page 1 values.
But in the column link(report attributes) of the interactive report i could see only 3 items can be set.
What to do if i need to set more then 3 values?
For More info on what i am doing---------
Page 3 is having a form whose values i need to fill from page 1.A user need to click the link i.e. col2 on page 1 and then it goes to page 3 and could be able to see some values in the form of page 3 already filled.I want to send total 6 values.

Option 1>>>
When you click link on interactive report , send the primary key to page 3 which contains the form.
In page 3 add a on load , before header process which will populate the other items based on the primary key value..
Option 2>>>
You can enter comma separated item names / values in the link tab of interactive report..
eg. Name Field you can P1_ITEM1 , P1_ITEM2 , P1_ITEM3 and in value field you can enter the corresponding values eg.. #field1# , #field2# , #field3#

How to Select More then 1000 values in Multi-Select prompt!!!

Hello Users,
I have Scenario where i have to pass all the values from prompt to report and the values in the prompt are coming from session variable, so whatever value access user has the report will run with that only...
Now the question is that Multi-Select Prompt is not able to take more then certain values, so is there any way that we can increase the limit for selected values??
in-short how to increase the limit for selected values in multi-select prompt??

The Scenario is like, we have data level security on "Unit" attribute. now based on the user selection when user logs in he should able to see the report only for those units which he/she has access.
in total we have 1800 units available, now for 5-10 units access is fine, but the question will arise when user will not have only some units access from 1800 units.
because report will not take those values from the multi-select prompt reason is that multi-select prompt is not able to take more then certain values in selected side.
now in multi-select until-unless u have data coming in selected side those values will not pass. so i have kept the sql in default for that prompt.
so when user logs in he will able to see those values in selected side for the multi-select prompt, but when values increase from some level it's going automatically in un-selected side.
i want everything on selected side of multi-select prompt.

Cost of Sales Amount more then Sales Amount

Hi All
We have an issue at a customer where the cost of sales amount is more then the Sales amount for the month of august...for the a specific customer group.
The account balances also reflect the same.
The customer uses Advance Gl account determination and managed Items by Item Group...where each item group as their own Stock, Sales and Cost of sales account...this is managed with the rules in the advanced GL determination.
We have ran the general ledger report to see if there are any peculiar transactions, but we cant seem to see anything out of the ordinary.
Is there anything else we can check to find out where the problem lies.
Any ideas are welcome.

Run this query and check the last column grossprofit . If it's negative you have a negative profit and then see the document.

How to return more then one value in OC4J

do I really need to create a serializable object + interface with an reader and writer to pass more then 2 variables back to the client ?
Must this object a java bean ?
.. or does anybody know an easier way to solve this problems.

We have some services currentliy implementet as PL/SQL stored Procedures on Oracle. They are now accessable with DCE and C-clients.
The task is now to implement the services as Web-Services with SOAP. For that we want to use the OC4J. - as an SOAP Server.
But unforunatly the only examples I found are returning only one parameter.
The Java books learned me to create a class and an interface to pass more parameter to the client. This interface should be inherit from Serializable.
The compiler is happy, the deployment is ok. But when I try to get the wsdl and stub I get something like: "must be an bean" or "have to be a reader and write property.
From my point of view this looks very complicated. I want to use SOAP and therefore all parameters should be passed with one call and the parameter should be explained in the WSDL so that they could be used independed of the programming language and plattform.
When I implement the read and write methods I will pass the parameters in one stream. When I only use Java I think this is a solution - but what is with C or other languages.

The other attributes are fine. We only need to set 3-4 properties of these
attributes and could get away with it. Only the first attribute is causing the
above problem. For other attributes of the content type, we are still setting
only the first three/four properties
If you look at the definition of iFS internal table "odm_attribute", apart from field "id", which is an implicit column, there are 12 columns which are NOT NULL.
This means for every iFS attribute it must be required to set the values
of these 12 properties. However like most of the examples in iFS doco,
you could get away with setting 3-4 properties explicitly. I am sure some
of them are set implicitly by iFS.
The problem is, sometimes these implicit setting of properties by iFS is
not working and its complaining about them. The ones which are causing
problems are SETTABLE and UPDATEABLE.
We are forced to set them explicitly. Hence the inconsistency.
The problem is, what is the reason for iFS setting "SETTABLE" and
"UPDATEABLE" implicitly for some attributes and requiring us to set them
explicitly?

Excise capturing without base value

Dear CIN Gurus,
There is a very specific scenario for which I need your help. We have Lump Sum Turnkey Contracts where the vendor gives a ceiling excise amount for which he will give the excise invoice. This ceiling excise amount has no base value on which it can be calculated. The excise invoices given by the vendor will be from the third party who is the material supplier for the contract completion. Please suggest me a way where I can capture the part 1 entries as well as posting of excise invoice.
