I recently decided to start using Skype again after a short while of computer problems and having it removed from my system, now during my down load, it asked me if I wanted a Skype number said it was free on my sign upo page ot the page that shows while you re-load Skype after having it before it tells me this--> "get a Skype number it's free? " I decided to wait and find out more so I continued with my Skype re-load with no problems, so later after reading a small amount about the Skype phone number I didn't see what I was looking for and worried if I went ahead with it I would be charge instead of getting it free as it said during my download, Im disabled and have a super tight budget so I decided to come in here to see if anyone could shed some light on this issue for me. TS2755 I have 3 phones on one Icloud account. It has been this way for over a year with no issues. After and update on of the lines started getting text messages from all 3 phones. We fixed the send and receive and it was fixed. It is doing it again.

Yesterday after two hours on the phone I changed my apple id and it is still happening. Before that Verizon had told me to turn off my imessage when that happened I could not get any texts at all from other Iphone users.

Make 3 different iCloud accounts and use ONLY for iMessage. That will permanently fix your issue.

I paid for Lightroom and have been using it for over a year now. Ive just tried to open the app and it's asking me for a serial number.

I purchased LR just over a year ago, has been working fine until I tried to open the app this evening and it's now asking me for my serial number. Unused Ipad has been sitting around a long time without being plugged in... when I plug it in nothing happens... help!

Give it time. Half an hour at least. If your battery is totally flat it has to build up some charge before it'll even chirp at you.
Plug it in over night and see what happens. If it's still dead then, you can try a different charger to make sure that's not bad. If that doesn't work, then it may be dead, Jim

Thanks to some hints in several strings, I went back to the Control Panel in XP, clicked on Sounds and Devices, clicked on Audio, then changed the default device to the Realtek HD Audio output I have on my computer. Now I can hear You Tube video sound and other Internet audio fine, at least for now. I will come back if it stops again. Thanks to all who posted.

Some people will periodically run OnyX, which is a disk maintenance program. You can download it from http://www.titanium.free.fr/download.php . Run the tasks on the cleaning and maintenance tabs. With any disk maintenance software, you should have a backup before using it. I've used OnyX for years, and it works well. Others have found that it helps with performance when run periodically.
Make sure you don't have less than 5GB, or keep 10% to 15% of your hard drive free for systems usage. Less than that can crimp systems performance.

Please view post above made by me with a different handle back a few months ago. Of course, these verizon sites being consistently broken, I wasn't able to log in with my original forum handle no matter what I tried so I had to resort to make a new one.
