Been having proplems with the facebook since I upgraded the Firefox 4 from beta to the full version, Can you help?
Facebook search bar and the videos doesn't work with the new version of Firefox and the lists just directs to another page instead of poping up, for example the notifications list just jumps to the notifications page instead of showing them in a tab list.

I tried disabling all add-ons and resetting all user preferences but it didn't fix the problem. So I tried your second recommendation. And when I booted Firefox with the new Profile everything was OK. I added my add-ons and they worked great. The only problem was that if I closed Firefox the new profile I created disappeared. The old, corrupt profile was still there but the new one wasn't. In the end I even deleted the old, default profile. This only made the matter worse. Every newely created profile would still disapeare if I closed Firefox and without a profile Firefox wouldn't start, saying that it is already running in the background and that I should stop the process or reboot my PC. Needless to say there was no firefox.exe process running in the background and even rebooting wouldn't make Firefox start. Well not knowing what to do next I did a compete uninstall of Firefox, rebooted my PC and installed a fresh copy of Firefox 3.6.9. I imported my bookmarks and added my add-ons and (for now) everything works as it should.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with Safari. You may want to consider resetting your device, which is different from restarting. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:

How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.

You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

I have been having problem for cac access since I upgrade from OSX 10.6 to OSX 10.8. Now it is aking me to select a certificate, but there is none listed.
Is the SW you are using campaitible with 10.8.x?

My interface -- buttons (back, forward, reload), firefox tab, groups, etc. -- does not look like the sample on your "firefox features" page. ("Groups" seems not to function at all.) I'm running the current firefox 4 download on Windows XP. Can you help?

Thank you for your swift reply. I don't know that this has helped me, as I've reached my level of tolerance for fooling with this annoying little problem - for today anyway. It has been going on since I "up" graded to Firefox 4. My wife is running 3.6.x on her laptop with none of this foolishness. As BLASPHEMOUS as it may sound, I've gone back to IE for the time being even though I don't like it 1000th as much as I do Firefox.
Not just to rant here, I would say that I found a way to put some buttons on the right side of the toolbar that immediately gave me permission to "back, forward, and reload", but upon closing the browser and going out for dinner with the wife, I find on return that not only are those buttons NOT still on the toolbar, but I can't find them anymore. I think they were in "add-ons" found under I believe Add-On Manager.
I did also manage to achieve back/forward functionality running Firefox in SAFE mode, but this meant no No-Script, among other things, and I've grown too fond of that particular little script to give it up.
I've rebooted, restored, and reinstalled, can't get this formerly completely reliable program to work like it always has. Before looking around on here, I was beginning to think it was my PC.

It may have used the YouTube app that is no longer included in iOS. Try downloading the YouTube app in the App Store and see if it works.

I have been doing online banking with this bank for 7 months with no problems. About 2 weeks ago I started having problems with certain things within the account. I called the support team with the bank and told them the problem and they suggested to uninstall firefox and reinstall so I did. Now I can move around within the account but can not sign off. Also all my accounts that require a sign in I have the same problem and some games I play only load up part of the game. I play goldminer and now I can not see the little miner to play the game. Glad to hear it is all straightened out. You are right about the upgrade cost. That is one reason why Adobe switched to monthly licensing—no more upgrade cost <g, r, & d>. Of course we do have nearly monthly product upgrades. It is almost like playing whack a mole.

Ever since I upgraded to firefox 3.6.15 the pages are loading extremely slowly, why?
I use a MacBook pro - about a year old and I have OS 10.6.6 installed. Ever since you pushed firefox 3.6.15 to me the pages are very slow in loading. Is it a cache problem? A second visit to the same page loads faster. sometimes it is slower than others and I don't know why. I have done a speed check on uploads and downloads and all seems to be fine.
I can get the photos to display in 3 columns if I do this:

In the Fonts & Colors section, click the Advanced... button.
Change '''Minimum Font Size''' to '''None''' and OK out of Options.
But most people are not going to do that. I prefer a minimum font size of at least 10.
So... how to fix it. The way the thumbnails are sized is that they are 10em with a base font size of 5px. If the minimum size is set to 10px, the pictures double in height and width.
It would make more sense if the base font size in your stylesheet was larger. Can you edit it? If so, try doubling the font size and halving the relative image size:

I think that will be more broadly compatible. There may well be some details I've missed, but hopefully this helps.
I don't know why the minimum font size wasn't applied this way in Firefox 3.6, but I suspect this is the new normal. -
First of all, forgive me cuz I'm probably NOT the sharpest "chip in a laptop" but I use Internet Explorer as my ISP(I've heard that GOOGLE CHROME is soo much better??) and Google as my search engine. For some reason(I know, probably USER idiot!!) even though I have set in my "internet connections" tab, www.google.com chosen, the minute I click a new tab to look for something else, that dreaded "about blank" or maybe "blank page" comes up.....wtheck???? It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I just upgraded my iPhone 4S to a 6Plus. I also have an iPad2 and an iPad Mini. I read on all 3 devices depending on where I'm going at the time. In my OverDrive settings on my iPad/Mini it says it is authorized by Adobe ID <and my email address>. On the 6Plus settings it says it is authorized by OverDrive account <and my email address>. How do I get the Adobe ID authorized on my 6Plus. Please??? and Thank you.
EllenI'm sorry I gave the impression I thought Overdrive was an Adobe product. I know it is not. The problem I am having IS with the Adobe product and the message I receive concerning "This license has already been fulfilled....." appears to be the result of the Adobe product. I'm on a desktop PC with Windows 7. The fonts on many website pages I have been looking at for the last few days seem to fade out unevenly across the screen as I begin to scroll my mouse. Not all sites have this problem. If I click on a link the sight fonts come back into focus.
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
