So heres the deal, I updated my iphone and in order to put any music on it or even ringtones I have to have the most updated version of iTunes, unfortunately my macbook wont allow the update, I do have a lot of pictures and song stored on here but I have no documents I have deleted everything the only thing left on here is what the macbook came with. Go to Apple menu > Force Quit > select the appropriate app > click on the Force Quit button.

TS3230 I did an update on computer 10.6.8 today and now I have spent hours trying to figure out why You Tube screens are just a black screen with no play options etc

Im not the most Computer tech savvy fella, stopped doing updates along time ago as I always have issues after updates. Thought I'd do one and sure enough here I am with issues. At First there was aplug in error > I uninstalled and re-installed and that has now gone buy all i get now is a black screen on You Tube that should have options to play but these options are not there. Have you tried restarting the printer? Reboot the iPad as well.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

I have got the same problem. I am using windows 8.1, latest version of iTunes, Symantec NIS. My internet connection is working.
My apple Id and my password are correct since they work on my iPad and on my iPhone.

You should have signed in with that address in the first place, but there is a workaround: go to System preferences>Mail, Contacts@ Calendars and add your @me.com address as an account there.

I accidentally bought the HD version of a movie for my daughter's nano. you can't watch HD on a nano. So I'm trying to figure out how to re-download the SD version. This help screen makes it seem like you can just correct the problem and just "download" the lower version. But when I follow the steps, I basically get to where I'm just having to actually purchase the other version. Do I have to pay to get the lower quality version after I've already paid for the HD version?

When you purchase an HD movie or show, in most cases the SD copy can be downloaded from your purchases area in iTunes. On the main iTunes Store page, go to Purchases under the Quick Links and then select Movies or TV shows as appropraite. Click the "Not On This Computer" button. Uncheck the "Download HD when available" box and you should then see the SD copies of the movies/shows and be able to download them.
Note that with digital copies from a Blu-Ray or DVD, if it comes with an HD copy, you normally cannot get the SD copy as well and have to purchase it separately if you want it.

For the past five weeks, iCloud has not recognized my automatically downloaded song purchases as songs within iCloud. After the songs download, they appear with the ominous striked out cloud next to a duplicate with the download cloud.

To get a fully functional song library that I can use to iCloud playlists and use all the other wonderful features of iCloud, I have to delete the automatic downloads and download the new version by clicking on the iCloud download icon. This is tedious. I have considered just turning off automatic downloads, but I rely heavily on my television shows downloading while I'm asleep and being ready to watch when I wake up.
If anyone has a solution, I would greatly appreciate your help. I'm sure I did something to goof it up.

What is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?
If the videos are in an iPhone compatible format and are in a folder of photos selected to be transferred to your iPhone under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, do you also have Include Videos selected under the Photos tab?
Or if the videos are in an iPhone compatible format, they need to be in your iTunes library and can be selected under the Movies tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes to be transferred to your iPhone.
