Beep tone delay when call landed CAD in UCCE Hosted solution.

We have UCCE Hosted infra call center Version 9. i am struggling Beep tone delay issue when agent getting a customer call in CTI platform , Calls stetting configured in auto answered mode. when Call initiate  Beep tone heard  20 sec delay but call invoke CTI 20 second prior.
Did any one face similar issue and any suggestion to fix.

This type of issue can be a suspect of BUG in CIPC.
Can you please share me logs and Version of CIPC and what window OS is in use.

  • Audio delay when call is answered, CUCM 8.0

    I have a client who is reporting an audio delay when a call is made to an external number. Call setup is fine and ringing begins immediately after the last digit is dialed.  When the called party answers there's a 1 or 2 second delay before either party can hear each other.
    Outbound calls are routed to a SIP trunk.  I am suspecting that an MTP is required but checking that off causes all calls to fail. 
    I then discovered that the only MTP defined in CUCM is the default and this is in a different device pool than the SIP trunk with the delay issue.
    Before I got through a possilbe hardware purchase (router, dsps, etc.) for the site with the problem I was hoping someone could confirm that this may in fact be the issue.
    Thoughts?

    Under older versions of CUCM, you can set that same parameter as a global Service Parameter for the CallManager process.You can try that. Newer versions pushed the setting down to the individual trunk level. Be aware the global setting will affect all calls on all SIP trunks, so test carefully after the change.

    I have had European unlimited account for several years, for the past couple of months when calling land lines the number rings, the number is answered  and the line goes dead, the timer on the phone continues to increase, I have the same problem using either my dual skype phones (no pc) or using either of my iPhones, some s recalling the same number its answered and all is OK, its impossible to contact skype by email for help, the site just sends me around in circles but no contact made available to email any one.

    This morning I woke up thinking that I should turn off my iPhone and then call it from a land line.  If the problem is the network then there would be a delay before I heard ringing.
    I turned my iPhone off and called it.  Right away I heard my message.
    I turned my iPhone back on and called it.  It rang right away!
    So, did Virgin Mobile fix the problem or did turning my iPhone off fix the problem?
    I don't know, but I'll take either.  I do know that Virgin Mobile said it would be four days to check the problem.  Did the problem get fixed yesterday when the four business days were up.  I do know that I've had my iPhone on for a long, long time.  Did upgrading to 6.1.1 or 6.1.2 cause the problem and turning my iPhone off reset my iPhone?
    If you have delayed ringing problem and turning your iPhone off and on again resolved it, please post a note here.
    P.S. I did call Virgin Mobile and its records show the investigation is still open.  I hope my points get passed on to the investigators.
    P.P.S. Reading my notes, I had turned my iPhone off and on last week.  Maybe it's all the phase of the moon.

    This Terminal EX60 Works OK, but the only thing is that when calling another device takes too long for the other device to receive the call.  This EX60 is registered to CUCM 10.5.1 and its firmware is tc7.2.0

    Are you dialing URI or extensions? If its extension, do you see some delay when dialing from a SIP phone on CUCM? You "might" be experiencing some post dial-delay. Try assiging an extension a URI and call this URI directly and see if you have a delay.

    I experience the same problem and it's extremely annoying. Have you found a solution yet? 
    Of course one might want to keep the earphones plugged in most of the time (if this is the way you prefer to answer you calls + talk on the phone) even if you're not using the phone/earphones. The ringtone does come through to to the speaker when someone calls… yet the sms signal DOES NOT and only plays in the earphones.   
    This means that the earphones must be unplugged after every call and then plugged in again before every call in order not to miss any sms:es! (Talk about unsafe driving e.g.!)
    It would seem to be such an obvious setting/option to include in the iPhones settings. Why has Apple has completely missed this!? .... or is there a solution?
    I have searched the internet but haven't found a solution?

  • I continuously have a problem making calls where I have to activate then cancel the speaker phone button.  Normally happens when calling landline phones but sometimes mobile.  Any fixes?

    I continuously have problems making calls from my iphone 4S.  When I place a call and press send, you hear nothing until I turn on and off the speaker button and then you hear the ring tone or the person answering.  This happens normally on land line calls but does occur when calling mobile phones somethimes.  Is this a common problem or is there a fix for it?  Thanks

  • Random beeps/tones while talking on iPhone (3Gs)?

    Has anyone else noticed the iPhone 3Gs (my model) making random beeps or tones while talking? It appears to be when your wireless is enabled on the phone. As soon as wireless is disabled, these beeps during a phone call go away. This issue appeared during iOS 6.0.1 update.
    The beeps occur at any time and are not part of a minute beep, notificiation beep, or any other type of iOS function. The phone was fully restored to factory and apps were added. The method to "get rid" of the beeps is to disable wifi and it appears to dissapear.
    Anyone at Apple care to shed light on their Q/A process?

    My girlfriend's iphone 4s does this to me all the time. Not only do I hear it on my iphone 5, but also my house phone. I'm guessing it's her phone or Sprint.

  • Delayed Incoming Calls

    I have set up Skype Connect and connected it to my Gigaset N300IP. Outgoing calling works just fine. However, I have a problem with incoming calls. At first, I thought that incoming calling was not working at all. The Skype ID that I have associated with my SIP Profile appears as being online, and when a Skype user attempts to call that Skype ID, it simply shows as "Connecting", with no audio being returned to the caller. Then, by chance, I happened to leave a call in this state and, after 55 seconds, the call went through. After waiting the 55 seconds, the call state at the calling end changes to "Ringing" and the caller hears ringback tone. The call is detected by the N300IP, and can be answered. Once answered, audio is passed in both directions. This behaviour is repeatable -- the call will always start ringing 55 seconds after the caller initiates by pressing the call button. My N300IP is connected behind and Apple Airport Extreme configured to provide NAT. Any ideas what is causing this behaviour? Best regards, John Parker

    So, a little more information. I spoke to support and was told that this is a known bug and that they are testing a fix for it, which should have been out by now. I wish Skype had a support system that provided a little more transparency into know issues. Anyway, Here is more information from our email exchange: 4/16/2013:"If the delay was as much as 45 sec then you may be seeing the attached business user bug we have had an issue for some time.,and we do have a ticket opened on that issue. That issue involves Skype version 6.1 and higher calling attached business user. The issue there is calls  take 45 seconds to reach the PBX, and other times not at all." 4/17/2013:"As stated in a previous email there is an escalation open on slow connection to an attached business user from certain releases of Skype Client software.  Skype Developers are testing a resolution to the problem now and hope to have it deployed before the end of the month." 4/18/2013:"The escalation number is: SIPTSOB-448.They are testing and expect to have a new release of Skype Client software ready to be released by the end of the month." 4/26/2013: "I understand you wish to know if there is a web site you can access for updates to issue SIPTSOB-448. However the ticketing system is only accessible for support staff only. You will be sent an email when updates have been made. I can also say that this issue has been escalated to highest level it can go.  Also note: there is a fix they testing right now. Should be within a few weeks or so."

    Our Contact Center management has raised a new requirement to report with the ANI details of calls landing at any skill groups during put of business hours.
    Options that we have is
    1. Webview report - Call Type 22 and 23
    But in this, If we specify put of business timings and generate the report it will give the number of calls and not its ANI.
    2. Call detail report from our custom report application.
    Here the problem is, this report will give details of calls landing during business hours alone. The reason is that only the calls that utilizes VXML ports in CVP gets to this custom report. The calls coming in during of hours is handled at ICM level and to play the out of office hours prompt it utilizes CVP port not VXML and terminates the call.
    Is there any way to get this ANI details without having to modify this custom report much. Please assist in this. Let me know if you need any more details.

    That's pretty strange.
    Let's just see how you are doing this. Once you detect the out of hours situation in your Routing Script (either by checking a Global variable refreshed by an Admin script or by having a Time of Day node directly in the routing script), do you set a Call Type?
    Then after setting the call type, I assume you play a CVP message and Release the call. Correct?
    When you query the TCD on this call type you should only see your after hours calls. Let's look at one of the calls.
    You should see two rows in the TCD, one with the DNIS of your number on the gateway, or from the PSTN carrier, and one with the VRU transfer label (say 8111111111) - maybe that's in the DigitsDialed column, I'm not in front of an HDS database and can't check. This is all you should see for a call that comes out of hours.
    Both these legs should have the same RouterCallKey with different RouterCallKeySequenceNumbers.
    Do you see this?
    What is happening with another call at a similar time with a different RouterCallKey ? That doesn't make sense.
    Maybe you could do a query and show us the output?

  • Use subflow or redirect step when calling another script

    I have a main AA script and it calls another script when caller press option 6.  When a caller presss 6 it is only transferring the call to the sub script.  it does not return any values to the main script.
    In this situation, is it better to use subflow or redirect step.  i am think redirect step but just want to check with the user community.

    Either will work. Here are a few thoughts to consider in no particular order:
    Subflows count toward the originally triggered scripts' maximum step count. If you have a lot of steps, this may result in an exception. Redirecting the call restarts this counter since the newly triggered script will have its own counter.
    NOTE: You might think that this is exactly why the Trigger Application step in Synchronous mode was created for. Alas, there is a bug which renders this useless in 7.0(1): CSCtd72562
    Redirecting the call will result in the user hearing ringback. This would occur because of the recommended two-second delay step following the Accept step of a step to prevent a race condition. I find this to be irritating enough to shy away from it mid-way through an IVR if possible.
    Subflows are more difficult to debug. You need to have sufficient code embedded in them such that you can trigger and reactively debug them.
    Be sure that the redirect destination of an actual CCX Trigger (CTI Route Point). Do not set it to a value in UCM that is translated or forwarded back to CCX. This results in a race condition which CCX does not handle well.
    If you were asking me as an individual my answer would be this: Is the code small enough and not reused elsewhere? If yes, then put it in the first script and avoid this topic all together. If it's reused in a bunch of places from multiple scripts and does not represent a large quantity of steps: use a subflow. Otherwise use Trigger Application if you're on a new enough version or Call Redirect if you're not.
