Beeping in noise when your on the phone

ok when i'm on the phone and someone else is calling the person i am talking to can always hear them beeping in..just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if so what did you do

I can always hear fine, but have had people I am speaking with complain of hearing a "clicking noise" on their end. One person even replaced his phone (Nextel customer) because he was sure it must be him, but even with the new phone he heard it only speaking with me.
That leads me to believe it is something to do with the iphone.
Anyone else have this issue? I can't imagine what it could be. It is very frustrating for the person I am speaking with.

If your iPhone was hacked/jailbroken to use a different carrier then the update locks it back again to the original carrier.

Never heard of that. I suspect it thinks that's an email address and you're seeing that screen b/c you don't have an email account setup on your iPhone.
Assuming the number is valid, try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

When i connect my phone to itunes, the screen displays the apple icon and doesn't connect to iTunes. I need to backup info on this phone so I can apply my back up to a new iPhone. Is there any another way i can do this? My older phone will not show it's connected to iTunes. I used iCloud on the phone with problems, but I didn't back up all the info thru iCloud. Sounds like your phone is in recovery mode. In this case, all data on it is gone. There's nothing to back up.

This problem is irritating me....?

To take panorama
- ensure that the panorama option is on
- press the shutter button once
- you will see a line with an arrow
- move around in a circle ( I keep the camera steady and turn myself around in a circle)
- as you do this you will see the arrow moving across the screen as it captures pictures
- at the end of the capture, you will be able to see your panorama picture

You're in trouble. You'll have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore it to remove the passcode:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.

If you double tap the home button, and then swipe your finger to the right, make sure you DO NOT have the Lock Orientation button enabled.
You know it is disabled if there is no padlock in the middle of the icon.

YOu will have to contact your cell provider to get the password, voicemail is a carrier feature.

The Ambient Light Sensor may be malfunctioning. Unfortunately there is not much you can do without tampering with the phone internally and voiding the warranty. Your best bet is to bring the phone to a local Apple Store and have them inspect it.

You could try restoring and staying away from that backup. I've had that happen to me before on my iPhone 4 from a corrupt backup. You could be coincidently mixing the two issues, sounds to me like you got lucky and your phone is A-OK but you may be using a corrupt backup.
