Beeping while in windows????

Question

After an unsuccessful flash of my old mb, I decided that I couldn’t fix it and bought the exact one again.  It’s a ms-6339 850 pro with a p4 1.7 processor.  
I finally got it working after loads of problems with it not working and beeping at post.  I eventually realised that my Geforce 3 card no longer works with this mb so I put my old geforce 2 in and it worked??  Strange it used to work? ?(
Any way the computer seems to be running very well and stable except it keeps making some random beeps while im using the computer.  They sound like the noises that an old pong game would make.    :P
At first I thought it was a warning that the processor was over heating but I downloaded pc alert 4 and the temps seem ok, they are
cpu temp 43
sys temp 34
Ok my question is what is this beeping noise and is it serious, because it started to do my head in and I’m thinking about disconnecting the cables at the mb.

oooohhhhhhhh man.................I need some more help :P
I have bought a geforce 4 ti4600.  And it works fine no problems at all.  But i spoke to the gezzer in pcworld and he said that my psu is probably quite alot bigger than 230 which i thought it was becuase it said 230 V, which i mistook for 230 W.  Soooooo how can i find out the psu power????
Second question, i also asked about heatsinks for my processor and he said that i will have trouble finding one to fit my processor becuase its a socket 423 (old pentium 4)  I saw loads of socket 478 heatsinksbut the gezzer said that they wont fit mine.  
Plus ive still got the beep, and its driving me insane.  My rig suks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any ideas?
