Before I loaded the update for Firefox, I could load gwweb.pwcs.edu. Now I cannot. What can I do to access this site. Also, I cannot access the FAFSA website either. fafsa.gov.
I just updated to the new version of Firefox. I now cannot access two sites that I previously including gwweb.pwcs.edu and fafsa.gov. I need to be able to access them and for some reason I am no longer able to. Can you please help?

when I updated Facebook 6.7.0, It didyn't complete the updating and my Facebook doesn't work so I deleted it. What can I do now to downgrade it ?
If recovery mode did not work, try DFU mode, but don't use the latest backup to restore from after you have set it up "as new ipod" again.

This has happened with previous Firefox updates but only after the initial update. Once I logged into websites such as facebook, yahoo, hotmail etc. I stayed logged in and was able to access these sites without having to log in each and every time. I have checked all boxes on these and all other sites to remember passwords and to keep me logged in and I still have to log in on each new visit. I rebooted my computer and this did not help. I made sure that Remember Passwords was checked on the Security tab under Options in the Tools for Firefox.
How can Mozilla be contacted to report this problem directly to them instead of posting to a forum?

I need to update my current version of firefox for the Mac and when I do it says it is not compatible for my system but I can't find anywhere that it says what the system requirements are for the new version of firefox for the Mac.

I am being prompted to download the update to a new version of Firefox. When I click on download, I receive a window to save the file. I save the file instead of canceling. After the download has been saved, my version of Firefox still has not been update. How do I apply the update?
Thanks Alex, but sadly I already tried that. Neither .docx or .xlsx files show up in the content list. They both show as a Chrome HTML document so changing how Firefox addresses those doesn't help since it thinks its the same type of file. I don't think I can manually add files into the "Content Type" left side nav.

I use Nuance PDF Converter Professional instead of Adobe. When I click the Update button, another window comes up to tell me this program will be disabled.
Will this be resolved soon? Have to have the PDF Converter running.

So you have made a current backup of this (and all other important files) before doing anything else, correct?
After you make a complete backup, just download and install the latest iTunes.
This will do nothing to your iTunes library or media (the entire /My Music/iTunes/ folder). -

Every time I restart Firefox a pop up appears saying the same thing "A Security or Stability for Firefox it is recommended you apply is as soon as possible" It has done this since the last big release.

The problem is it is suspicious in that it has a link that says "View more information on this update" but when II click it it just leads to the general Firefox help page which mentions nothing of any updates an when I look around no one seems to be discussing them. I mean it were windows not only would we be used to them but we wouldn't get a choice to download it or not but with Firefox an so often it seems people would be discussing them. Then, the other weird thing is awhile back when I did just blindl click and install it left Firefox very unstable and so I thought it may be a virus type thing rather than a true update. Still can't find any word one way or another of its legitimacy and because it is a pop up I can't use the "View This Page's Source" feature in Firefox. I just downloaded the update for Firefox 4 and all the fonts are wierd - unreadable.
The fonts are strange and there are weird symbols making it hard to read.
Do you have an orange Firefox button in the upper left, or do you have the customary menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc.)?
Either way, you can check your current Firefox version using Help > About Firefox.
To switch from having a menu bar to having the orange button, right-click in a blank area after Help and uncheck Menu Bar. Then, to display the menu bar temporarily, you can tap the Alt key or press the F10 key.
Regarding the start page, there must be something just a little bit custom about the address. Otherwise, you would have been changed to '''about:home''' which is the new start page. -

The cert8 file gets remade, but the error message still comes. Every new profile gets deleted and the default one always comes back when I keep deleting it in the profile manager.
