Downloaded "flashplayer 13x32". A security message appeared from Microsoft "This is an executable file and may contain viruses or codes that will harm your computer". Question: If its corrupted, why did Adobe Website download it.??

The keyword is "MAY"...
NOWHERE in that does it say "This is a virus."
What you're seeing is a standard Windows warning about ANY executable file you can download.
Adobe isn't, and never has been, in the business of making malware. That said, there are literally millions of fake downloads of things like Reader, Shockwave and Flash Player.
Bottom line: If you don't trust the download... DON'T USE the download.

When I try to write an email from my BT site I get the following message

Then there's a link to restart the page in 32-bit mode. However, it resets to whole page, drags things back out the trash.
I have only had this problem since updating to the latest FirefoxPrevious versions of Firefox were only 32 bit, Firefox 4 for the Mac contains 32 and 64 bit versions. If you want to always start Firefox in 32 bit mode, open up Finder and go to the Applications folder. Control-click the Firefox app and click "Get Info", then select the "Open in 32-bit mode" option.

Recently I received an iPad2 as a gift. I had iTunes because an iPod I had. First I put some productivity apps through my computer. Then I bought some other games apps through WiFi. then when I try to synchronize, I lost my productivity apps and just keep those buy on WiFi. Now I try to install iTunes again, and what I received at the end is a message that tells me "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes".
I did it a couple of times. Same result. One of this times, I also retired those programs recommended on help page: iTunes, QuickTime, Bonjour, Apple Mobile, etc. (in the order indicated)

Recently I over cleaned my computer with "Auslogics duplicate file finder program" and have since had problems activating some programs and accessing some websites; for example could not load Adobe Reader PDF files. Then I downloaded Foxit PDF Reader and then I was unfortunately stuck with Ask homepage. I tried to access "about: config" to disable Ask homepage but could not access the about config webpage. I have since reinstalled my homepage, but I would like to know how to access about:config webpage if I need to at some time in the future.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I am assuming the plugin that the Firefox message is referring to is for attaching a file to the email. I say this because at the bottom of a new email it has a link that says "Attach files more easily" which, when you click it, takes you to a setup process where you download an att updater. I ran that and it did seem to change anything. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to make Firefox handle this page without having to restart in 32-bit mode every time.
That means that you need to run Firefox in 32 bit mode if you want to use that plugin.
# Close Firefox
# Open the Applications folder in Finder
# Right click or control-click the Firefox.app icon
# Select "Get Info"
# Select "Open in 32-bit mode"
# Close the "Firefox Info" window

I want to completley disable the installation and/or use of add-ons in Firefox 4. I don't want anybody that logs onto either of my computers to be able to use add-ons and I can't find a way to disable it in the configuration files. I've found ways to lock down other options like updates etc. but I cannot find a way to completely disable add-ons.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Yes, it's in your Applications folder and is called "Install OS X". Make sure to empty your trash afterwards to clear the space.

An OK button and a Settings button are at the bottom of the
message. Whether I click on OK or click on the Settings button, the
SWF proceeds to play in the browser.
My main concern is -- if the SWF is posted to a web page, is
this message going to appear when a learner clicks on the SWF to

Manager Carry out these steps:
1. Click Settings.
2. Select Edit Locations.
3. Select Add location.
4. Under Trust This Location, enter the location of the
