Before meauring small current, whether it is need to wait several time after switching it to DMM ?
Hi, I want to use PXI 2535 to switch small current, e.g. 1-100nA, and then measure it using 4071+4022. We know that bouncing would occur when a relay transitions between open and close. But the relay in 2535 is FET, not the same as relays in 2532. Whether we still need to wait several ms to get a steady current? And if, how long it should be to wait (if 10nA is switched)?

I don't think additional settling time is required. The default settling time for the NI PXI-2535 should be sufficient.
Additional low current switching advice: Be concerned with triboelectric/piezoelectric effects, leakage current in the switch, burden voltage, contamination/humidity, etc. Also, I recommend to "make-before-break" relay connections when switching current because it's best to always have current flowing rather than to interrupt it.
If you still have concern, then I recommend trying how different amounts of settling affect the measurements. Remember, the amount of settling required always depends on the load anyway.

Streaming Music needs to reconnect each time after viewing photos

I have 200Gb of music, so I stream this to my TV. Photos are obviously sync'd. However, to get to my photos, I have to go to the source menu, and choose TV (Since "Shauns Music" menu only says Movies, TVShows, Music, Podcasts, Settings and Sources. So I play
When I go back to Music, the connection is lost and I have to reconnect - i.e. I get "Loading Shauns Music". This takes 1 minute 15 seconds, which admittedly isn't that long, but when you have to waut every time you view photos and play music, it seems pretty unpleasant.
My iTunes and my TV are never off - isn't there some way I can "fix" the streaming connection?
ShaunI don't think it's an issue of the IP address. I think the behavior that is taking a long time is that it seems to be reading in the entire directory of your library in order to make subsequent browsing fast.
As annoying as the wait is, at least once it's over, it's very fast. You can scroll down an extremely long list of every song or artist and it accelerates faster and faster until you release the remote button at which point it nicely decelerates and stops.
I have a receiver that attaches an iPod directly with a special cable letting me scroll through its contents and select items via remote. At every selection point, there was a pause for it to load the next level. It couldn't scroll more than a few items before having to pause to reload. Now that was annoying.
It would certainly be nice if the Apple TV were smart enough to cache a library's contents, only re-loading if it's been changed, enabling a quick switch. Maybe they'll do that in the future? -
Audio not working properly in U410. Need to retry several times, and then it works

I have an U410 with Win 8.1. I went throught the troubles upgrading to 8.1. Installed the Conexant driver 8.65.3.53, and then de Dolby Gui.
However, when I want to: listen to music, see a film with WMP, or see a youtube video, the sound doesn't work and hence, the video doesn't start. If I click retry (or reload the web page) several times, in the end it starts working.
Any clues??

PIt seemed that the AUDIODG.EXE memory leak issue was unrelated but...It showed crashin in the event log, and the solution for such service has sorted my sound problem

Facetime doesn't work well after upgrading to ios8.
When I make a facetime call, it doesn't sound some times on the other side.
When it rings on the other side and is answered, it says (connecting), but it is still ringing on my side and never connected.
After that, I disconnect and make a second call, it sometimes connects, but not everytime.
I need to call several times to connect. It is really hard to connect through facetime after upgrading to ios8.
I purchased three iPad so far because of this good feature (facetime).
Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

There are two easy fixes to this.
One, you can set up Family Sharing, in which you can have two different iCloud Accounts, yet still share the same apps, music, media etc.
Two, go to Settings and turn-off "Handoff". This can be found under the General page.

Before using the current Mac version Yosemite, I did not have an Administrator password. It seems now that one is required to unlock and make changes in settings. I have tried all my usual passwords but to no avail. any ideas???

Select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
At the prompt type,
resetpassword
Hit return.
Follow the prompts in the utility to select hard drive, then user.
Reset the password.
Exit the utility and restart.
You will need to log in with your new password, but your keychain will not be reset.
I’m not sure what access you’ll have to the old keychain since it didn’t have a password. You may be able to get into the keychain and reset the password to match your login password. -

That is precisely the WRONG thing to do. You should never delete, but uninstall.
Now you need to look for, download and run the Adobe CS Cleaner tool. -

It seems that in your version of InDesign, the image preview is grayed out while you are editing the picture frame with the pen tool. Not the case with my version of CS5 for macintosh.
But I think this is a bad way to work. If you want the path only to affect text wrap, then edit the text wrap path. This is more versatile than editing the frame because you can have text appear over part of the image visible below text. This of a bird in flight in a light sky. The text wrap can surround the bird so text can appear in the sky. Your method does not permit this.
If you are editing the frame’s path because you also want to crop the image, then you’d be better off doing that in Photoshop by adding either a clipping path in the Paths panel or a mask in the Layers panel. If it’s an Illustrator file then add a clipping mask.
I find InDesign’s pen tool and general path editing to be significantly inferior to Illustrator’s. If I need to have an editable path in InDesign that I would draw much more easily in Illustrator, then I do that and copy the path back. It comes in as a simple unassigned frame, which I can then convert to a picture frame or a text frame and copy/paste the contents into the new frame. That may suit you if the above suggestions are inappropriate. -

It is quite possible to have a different iCLoud AppleID from the iTunes one - have you set up maybe Phot Stream using an non-iTunes AppleID?

I upgraded my ipad3 to the latest ios7.0.2 and the device is "dragging its heels". I need to wait 15secs to logon and it is almost impossible to type a small word. The situation is unbearable and reminds me the first windows phones 6.0!!!

Double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. You may have many open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign.

If you are still under warranty and/or have AppleCare, call them. Let them deal w/it. Out of warranty, your keyboard may need cleaning.
