Yes. You can set the payment method to "None" once you log into iTunes on your PC/Mac. I have it set up this way.

Whenever I updated or downloaded a new app from the App Store, a message appears saying:
"Account Not In This Store
Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the Swedish. store before purchasing."
I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
"This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.
Can anyone help me please?
ArianAre you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out. -
When I try to buy either an app or a song via iTunes, I have just started getting the following message and I am unable to change the store location. "Account Not In This Store. Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the New Zealand store before purchasing."
This problem has only just started happening. I am on an iPhone5 iOS 7.0.4.
Very frustrating. Can someone please tell me why & where the change has occured and how to fix it? In the past I have purchased many apps and songs on itunes and never had this problem.

Received notice of an update for one of my apps and when I tried to update the message reads "Account Not in this store" i must switch to a Canadian store before purchasing. I deleted app and tried to download again but still got the message. Anyone know how to fix? FYI have had phone for 2 years and this is the first time this has happened.
The Apple id that you created do you remember if you created with your region sellected as Canada or US. If so you can change Region directly on your device by clicking on App Store icon, Scroll to bottom and tap your app is, click view acct and change region

Apple TV .. verify my account data on my computer before purchase.
Why does Apple TV need me to verify my account data on my iTunes account before purchase? I don't have to do this with iPad or iphone. It is a nuisance, especially if my wife is making the movie decision since she doesn't like to go into my laptop data to enter my credit card info.
The iTunes music store makes you verify your account any time you are connecting from a new device with a new account. It is to prevent credit card fraud. As long as you are not chaning the account used you should only have to do this once when you first use a new device.

We do have a place in the UK which we could use as an address, but for various reasons it gets a bit complex even though we still have a UK bank account. We moved to France when there were no iDevices and apps around, just bought the occasional music, so it wasn't a problem. Funny thing is I can't even download the free UK bank app because it's not available in the French store .
I'll live with the problem for now as we plan to move back to the UK in a year or so - we miss the weather . -

1. Tap "Settings"

6. Tap "Country/Region."

9. Tap "Done".
Note: If the change doesn't take effect, sign out of account and sign in again. -

Ysterday I updated to the new IOS6 on my Iphone 4. The phone service is provided by the Softbank carrier in Japan but I am an American and my Itunes account is U.S. After the update I get this warning when trying to install app updates "Your account is not valid for use in the Japanese store. You must switch to the U.S. store before purchase." This is something that must have occured during the the IOS6 install so my question is how do I get my Iphone 4 to recognize the U.S. store again?
Open the App Store and tap "featured", go down untill you see your Apple ID... enter there and tap "View Apple ID"... it should automatically ask you if you want to switch the store. Switch and thats all.

My app store and itunes store are stuck in Japanese store. I already moved to the Philippines for about a year ago and my stores still won't change its location.
I already changed the region/country in my apple id. I tried to sign out and sign in back to my account. Tried it in app store, in itunes store, in settings app, in itunes in my laptop, in the apple website. It shows that my apple id is already set to Philippines, no matter where I sign in my account.
The problem is when I open my app store (or itunes store) in my iphone, it appears that it is in the Philippines store; however, when I sign in my account (and I tried to sign in everywhere), I cannot download any app from the Philippine store. When I try to download an app, it always says "Account not in this store. Your account is not valid for use in the Japanese store. You must switch to the Philippines store before purchasing." I have read everywhere and most of the answers say that it should automatically direct me to the correct store. It doesn't happen to me, apparently.
I have the same problem in both my iPhones. Both are iPhone 3GS and in version 5.1.1. I don't want to upgrade to iOS6 so please don't tell me to do so. Thanks!try logging out of of store and then log in again

Adobe kicks me out right before purchase, says I have to change region. How?
I just want to buy Photoshop Elements, but adobe will not let me. Right before purchase I am always kicked out, saying I have to change regions, but I cannot find anywhere to do that. I've tried logging in from adobe.no (I am in Norway), but that didn't help either. I can't find anywhere to change regions in my account or profile either. I tried getting hold of the chat-support, to no luck, I cannot get an answer on email, so I consider this the last try before I find another program. Would really appreciate advice.
Tell this "friend" and their parents that it is up to them to fix the device or buy you a new one.
Then as tonefox suggested, find a new friend.
In the future, your friends keep their hands off your devices... it's not that difficult of a concept. -

Are you certain that you are signed onto iTunes & Apps in the Canadian store?
Settings>iTunes & App Stores, click on your AppleID, and then click on View AppleID. Type in your password, then click on Country/Region. Once there, follow the prompts and then select the Canadian Flag.

When I am purchasing some music on I Tunes I usually like to listen to a short version of the Song before purchased but lately when I try to listen to the Song
it keeps on buffering every 2 seconds and I can't listen to the song of which I want to purchase correctly .You are correct. Syncing should transfer any purchased media, including videos, from your device to your iTunes library provided your computer is authorized for the Apple ID used to make these purchases. You mentioned that you have uninstalled iTunes before, but if you didn't follow this guide exactly, uninstalling iTunes and all of its components in the order specified, it may not have been successful so you should try again: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7.

At one of my client side, sales is done before purchase.. in that case gross profit shown will be 100%. but that is not correct and also the inventory level goes in negative.. Is there any way to handle this sceneario?
In my opinion, the transaction for this would be better using payment on account instead of invoice for sales. In the actual business sense, all sales must be after purchase since there are nothing to "Sell" if you don't have anything on hand.
That would eliminate the negative inventory and 0 cost. If that is not possible, you may force in the items to the inventory before sales (by Goods Receipt). Then using Goods Issues to get rid of this virtual quantity.
