I choose not to update, because I don't know what I have purchased, maybe an app or 2 (free apps too ?)

You should be using your computer to regularly backup your purchases and other stuff from your phone. This is done, as wjosten suggests by running iTunes on your computer, connecting your phone and selecting transfer purchases. You can also copy over photos taken with your phone to your computer using an image captured program.

Instead of bearing the pain of slow iOS 8 on your iPhone 4s, I think you should learn how to speed up iOS 8 on your iPhone, say clear junk files and delete unwanted photos and messages to leaving more storage for running iOS 8, end multiple task and reduce motion effect to boost the performance.

I recently downloaded Ios 7 and all the songs that i have purchased before, but deleted off my itunes because i didn't want them, showed up. I don't know how to delete them off my ipod and i really don't want them there. Is there a way to get them off? The songs dont show up in my itunes on my computer, just on my ipod with a download button next to them. I don't want them there anymore because i don't like that kind of music anymore and i don't know how to get them to go away.
There is a similar setting for Videos on that Settings screen, so if you leave that 'on' you may have similar happening in the Videos app

If you mean the ones that you've download to your library then with the new screen setup click on the button top left and select the content category that you want to view - or you can have the left-hand sidebar show as on previous iTunes via View > Show Sidebar (Option-Command-S) which might make it easier to navigate.

Details matter. You didn't say your phone was only 3 months old. In fact you said in your opening statement your phone was no longer under warranty. -
Since Firefox was recently updated, customers who use Firefox as their browser can no longer place items selected at our e-commerce site into their shopping cart. We are not experiencing this problem with customers who use IE as their browser.
I created a brand new blank Captivate 6 file, applied a theme, inserted a few new slides and tried Preview. It worked! All four of the Captivate files I used in my previous testing were based on one file which hadn't been touched for two weeks. Somehow while working in the lastest file, either removing unused items from the Library or killing errors while Publishing, something somewhere got corrupted or removed. Something that all four files must have pointed to, since as soon as the latest file broke, all of the other files stopped working as well. Since the original file was inherited, I'm not even sure how to go about finding the problem. In my case, it won't be too big of a deal. I will create a clean template file and rebuild.

its same settings before update ios 6 but i've often connection lost problem. May be new update necessary ! . i tryed soft reset, wi-fi connect reset but the problem continues.

Hey guys, how can I update iOS without losing my media?
I've been told to sign into iTunes on another computer, authorize the computer in iTunes, then sync my iDevice before updating iOS. When I attempted that I got a warning message from iTunes saying the content on my iDevice would be replaced with the content on the computer so I backed out. I don't have my computer with me and I'd really like to sync my iDevice with another computer so I can update my iDevice to iOS 5.
