BEFW11S4 V2, Internet goes slow out of the sudden.

Now, I had good internet speed for about 2 years and everything was fine, but about 2 weeks ago, I restarted my computer and did a power cycle on my router and modem. Then, I put all my settings back on, and connected. Out of the sudden, my speed goes down into about 3 kb/s downloading speed. The sites take about 5 minutes each to open up, and it's really annoying. Can someone please help me? The linksys guys on the phone couldn't help me at all... I have a Westell Modem and a BEFW11S4 V2 Modem.
I tried doing everything such as messing with the beacon interval, RTS Threshold, and MTU and stuff like that.
Also, the connection is also slow when wired.
I have DSL by the way.
The modem couldn't be blocking out the speed because 2 weeks ago my internet was fast and good.

Please, if anyone can help me... It's just I got a school project to do soon and I can barely do it with this kind of connection.

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

There is an issue with Photoshop specifically related to recent updates in which causes the licensing to revert to trial after a certain number of launches (typically 2-3).
The current workarounds are to either:
- Sign in with your Adobe ID again every few launches
- Uninstall Photoshop CS6 and then reinstall it but don't install any of the updates
The issue with the updates is planned to be fixed in the coming weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I would be concerned too if the songs I purchased from iTunes were not downloading to my iPhone. You have taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and thank you for providing the details of the steps you too. I have a few additional suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

Internet going slower because of WRT54GS?

I just recently upgraded my WRT54GS's firmware yesterday and it the internet was going at super fast speed and everything was working well, but now (Today) my internet is slower than usual, could this be because of the router? Do you guys know why this is happening? Also, can you give me some suggestions on how to make the internet restore its fast speed? Thanks!

To be honest, the first time I accidentally let go and the second I only got to 26. Should I re-set one more time and actually get to 30?

Internet stopped working all of the sudden

I have a WRT54G router connected to my iMac and Mac Book, everything was working fine for the past three months, and all of the sudden no Internet either wirelessly or from a port.
If I connect my PC directly to the modem I can connect to the Internet. The Internet and port lights are turned on on the router. I can login to the router, but when I check the IP address it just shows 0.0.0.0, tried doing a DHCP release\ renew on the router, but nothing. Also, cannot ping any sites from the router.
These are the toubleshooting steps I've taken to try to fix the problem:
Restarted both the modem and the router.
Tried using a different ethernet cable from the modem to the router.
Reset the router.
Upgraded to latest firmware.
I have Comcast cable as my ISP. Has anyone seen this before? Thought I'd get some feedback before I call support.

Slow wifi all the sudden

My connection seems to have slowed dramatically in any room not near the router and I was wondering why the change all the sudden? Is wifi at all affected by the weather?

Wi Fi shouldn't be affected by weather.
Try turning off the router for a few minutes then restart.
Tap Settings on your iPad home screen then tap General / Reset / Rest Network Settings.
Restart your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.

I'm on this one site a lot, and I mean a lot; since its fun and I have nothing else better to do with my time. could this site be slowing my computer down?
It's a legit site, no virus's or shady things going on with it. but whenever I'm on it, the pages dont seem to load anymore and I have to put my computer to sleep (mac laptop) or exit out of all my pages (usually 2 or 3) and just wait for a couple minutes before using the internet again. my network we have is pretty fast and works well. all the other sites I go on work perfectly fine and load as fast as usal, but I guess... its just on that one site it slows down.
but it doesnt have any pop ups or anything! how could this happen? and what should i do? just lay off the site for a week or something?

Is any one able to give me some advice with this?
My iMac is now about 18 months old. Over the past 4-6 months it has gradually got slower. I have noticed this mainly on the internet. Some days it takes about 3-4 minutes to load one page or can't even open it at all. It used to be fine (i.e. opened a page in a second or two) and there is the odd occasion where this is still the case.
A few facts about the comp;
Memory capacity 232.57gb
Used 62.69gb - I am confident that it is not due to lack of space on my iMac!
On the activity monitor it shows 2.73KB per second - no idea what this means
I have completed the Apple Hardware Test - came back fine
I have completed Repair Disk Permissions - didn't change a thing
I haved deleted all Caches, Log files and Temporary Items.
I have downloaded OnyX - my iMac will not allow me to open the programme though.
I do not use this iMac for much - dont download much, dont use many programmes - only internet and email really!
I have contacted my broadband provider who have confirmed I am signed up to receive 5mb and I get the full five. They have said I have a good connection as far as they are concerned. I have run a broadband speed test - download speed - 4152kbps - upload speed- 497 kbps
I connect to the internet wirelessly and the airport icon on my screen suggests full strength.
I have now run out of ideas as to how I can speed up my beloved computer again.
I'd be really grateful if anyone could suggest any further things I could do to fix this problem.

I would assume based on your usage and problems that the issue is specifically isolated to your internet performance. If you almost exclusively use this machine for internet/email, then we're probably talking an internet throughput issue. And probably the issue is something with the wireless configuration.
If you can post more information about your configuration, that would be helpful. Who is your ISP? Are they providing a modem that has wireless built in, or do you have a wired connection to another wireless router? What brand of router are you using? Also, what brand of modem(if they are different)? Finally, what version of OS X are you using and are your Software Updates up to date?
Is there a way you could connect your computer via Ethernet directly to your ISP box to test your performance that way?
Finally, do you have any cordless phones, microwaves, or anything using the 2.4 or 5 GHz radio band nearby? Something like items above might be causing intermittent interference.

Mac Mini Extremely Slow out of the box

So I just got a brand new Mac Mini yesterday. It is the 4GB with the 1TB 5400 rpm HDD... It takes 15+ seconds to open system pref sometimes. Mail is empty and I can see 5-6 bounces before it opens.
My 2010 iMac dual core is faster than this, email opens instantly and I may have 3000+ emails.
I did a SMC reset, and I want to make sure I have a good grasp on this before I call it in to AppleCare. Is a 5400rpm HDD really this slow? Activity monitor shows nothing wrong, but then again there isn't anything installed on here. I don't have a problem if I need to upgrade the RAM but don't want to bandaid anything if I can fix it instead

It shouldn't be that slow, unless maybe Spotlight is Indexing, TimeMachine is doing a full backup or another Process is using alot of CPU.
Go to the Activity Monitor, select All Processes, click on the %CPU tab and check to see if you have a Process that has Failed or is using a high % of CPU.

So, yea, i've been experiencing this problem a lot. I'm playing a game, and then, out of nowhere, I start getting 300-400 ping, and I can't even play it. Then, like 5-10 minutes later, I start getting my ping back. This only happens on my Mac. My family has other 2 computers, and that doesn't happen in theirs.
Specs:
Macbook Pro 13in Mid-2012 running Version 10.9.4.

DSL is incredibly slow all of the sudden (Alexandria VA)

For the last few days my DSL has been at around .4 MB when I should in theory be capable of getting ten times that. In fact I usually get around 2.5 MB but that is at least tolerable. .4 MB is definitely not. I tried tech support by phone and by live chat and ran into clueless people who tell me things like turning my modem off and on. As if. So I figured I would post here as a final measure before chucking it and going to cable.
I am fairly certain this is a Verizon problem and not something in my house since I have not changed anything in my setup that might have brought on the DSL slowdown.

Its been more than 48 hours and this issue still exists in Western Massachusetts. Once the connection is finally established it works well. No changes in my house. It could be the last verizon tech ran the wire right over the eave of my house (against my advice) and maybe the insulation has worn through but thats still a Verizon problem.
