In particular, I am analyzing the example "Even Angle Reference Signal Processing (Digital Tacho, DAQmx).vi", whose documentation I am reproducing in the following:
DESCRIPTIONS:
This VI demonstrates how to extract even angle reference signals and remove the slow-roll errors. It uses DAQmx VIs to acquire sound or vibration signals and a digital tachometer signal. This VI includes a two-step process: acquire data at low rotational speed to extract even angle reference; use the even angle reference to remove the errors in the vibration signal acquired at normal operation.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Run the VI.
2. On the DAQ Configurations tab, specify the sample rate, samples per channel, device and channel configurations, and tachometer channel information.
NOTE: You need to use DSA PXI-447x/PXI-446x and PXI TIO device in a PXI chassis to run this example. The DSA device must be in slot 2 of the PXI chassis.
3. Switch to Extract Even Angle Reference tab. Specify the number of samples to acquire and the # of revs in reference which determines the number of samples in even angle reference. Click Start to take a one-shot data acquisition of the vibration and tachometer signals. After the acquisition, you can see the extracted even angle references in Even Angle Reference.
4. Switch to the Remove Slow-roll Errors tab. Click Start to acquire data continuously and view the compensate results. Click Stop in this tab to stop the acquisition.
ORDER ANALYSIS VIs USED IN THIS EXAMPLE:
1. SVL Scale Voltage to EU.vi
2. OAT Digital Tacho Process.vi
3. OAT Get Even Angle Reference.vi
4. OAT Convert to Even Angle Signal.vi
5. OAT Compensate Even Angle Signal.vi
My question is: How is the synchronization produced at the time of the compensation ? How is it possible to eliminate the errors in a synchronized fashion with respect to the surface of the shaft bearing in mind that I am acquired data at a low rotation speed in order to get the "even angle reference" and then I use it to remove the errors in the vibration signal acquired at normal operation. In this application both operations are made in different acquisitions, therefore the reference of the correction signal is lost. Is it simply compensated without synchronizing ?
Our application is based on FPGA and we need to clarity those aspects before implementing the procedure.

Certificate for Azure Websites in the VNET

Hi,
I created a point-to-site connectivity from Azure websites to existing VNET. My Questions are:
1. Eventhough I add more than one website the client count in the Dashboard of the VNET is not showing increment more than 1. What is the reason?
2. How do I change the certificate used by the Azure website that is getting generated while connecting to VNET through point-to-site? It seems it all the websites connecting the VNET using same auto generated certificate. How and Why?

Where did you create the websites? Are they in the same web hosting plan? Based on my experience, only websites are running on a web hosting plan that’s in the ‘Standard’ pricing tier can be connected to a virtual network. A website can only
be connected to one network at a time and you can only have up to 5 networks configured in your web hosting plan.
In addition, the system will then create a certificate to authenticate with your VNET if it is the first website in your subscription to establish a connection to that network. Why did you want to change the certificate?

Why are some websites, such as the FAFSA (federal financial aid for students) website or the BNY Mellon website, denying access to users running Firefox versions newer than 3.6?

Why are some websites that are important to many people, such as the FAFSA (federal financial aid for students) website or the Bank of New York Mellon website, not permitting access to computers running Firefox versions newer than 3.6 when Mozilla is claiming that 5.0 is more stable and secure?

That is a question for those websites to answer. Firefox 4.0 was released almost 4 months ago, IMO more than enough time for those 2 websites to verify that Firefox 4 & 5 are compliant with W3C standards.
To be able to access that FAFSA website, my advice is to install the Portable Firefox 3.6.19 version to your hard drive. It won't affect your other Firefox installation.

Putting the website in the 'center' of the browser

This is probably a stupid question, but I'm new to the
Flash/Dreamweaver/Fireworks suite of products.
In creating a website that is, for example, 800 by 500
pixels, how can I place that website 'frame' in the center of the
browser so that somebody in 1024x768 will see the website in the
center (as opposed to the top left corner)?
And a related question - how can I modify the background
color for the empty space not taken up by the designed website?

On my mini ipad, when I'm on the internet -- a few times I will see a blue small pop-up boxes telling me to allow down/load or add something like the bubble-splash game or something similar. I jusr click ignore and it goes away.. I'm not sure why it's showing up lately.. I'm not sure if it's a virus or hacked in or a web brower matter..

Foxfire is remembering a past password for a website, and the site won't accept when I enter the new password.

I enter data on a State Health website, which requires that I change my password on a regular basis. I tried to login with the new password, and called the website's help desk for help, when I was unsuccessful. They said it was because Firefox was remembering the old password each time I tried to log on, and that I should ask you to remove the "remembering password" component.

Thank you. I had to pull up an article on "How to Clear the Cache", and I think I got that and "Removed Cookies" from the site that I was having trouble with (although I didn't see any where to "okay" the new settings, so I just closed out). I downloaded the Sims Freeplay app some time ago and it's been smooth sailing.
I'm a bit of an achievement hunter when I play my games, so I bought a rather expensive home to earn one particular achievement.
My "Pro Skater Deam Pad" was built, but the achievement was never awarded. Odd. So I restarted my iPad and thus the game. Still nothing.
I've had the house for a few days now and I still haven't been awarded an achievement, so I went to the App Store and clicked App Support.
It sent me to the EA games homepage, and after scouring the help center with no luck, I was finally pushed into making an account so I could ask my question.
Lo and behold, the EA games cannot access the Game Center or the App Store or anything else like that, and sent me back to Apple.
Repeat the cycle here.
So here's my question and I'd love some answers ::
"What do I need to do to fix the glitch? The app is up to date and is otherwise running perfectly fine."

I doubt this warranty is still being honoured, since there was a 2 year time limit.

I blocked cookies for a website and then found I couldn't use it. When I unblocked the cookies, I still can't use the site.

I was trying to book train tickets, and I got a message the site was not completely secure. On clicking, the message was that cookies were being kept. I blocked the cookies but the found I couldn't make train reservations on the site. After unblocking the cookies again, I find I still can't make train reservations, even though I had done so frequently in the past.

I was having the exact same problem. Go to Help and then to Check for Updates. I updated itunes AND Quicktime. Works perfectly now. Hope this helps!

As above, there is more to Safari than just the App, however I dont like the changes in 5.1, so restored the 5.0 version of just the App and it functions just like it used to
It might not work for you, and it can just be deleted if it doesn't, not sure how easy it is without time machine
go into Finder and Applications folder
enter time machine (it will default to app folder)
find a date that you had 5.0
click to restore it (Do Not restore into original location, restore it to desktop to test it)
When this has been done, run Safari from your desktop and see if it fixes your issue
I have been using this version done like this for a couple of weeks and it is fine, I did copy it to the Application\Utitlities folder along with some other older software I have, then made this one the version on my dock
If it doesn't make any difference just delete Safari.app from your desktop
