Beginner in desperate need of some expert advise

In adobe premier elements 7 do i have to drag every transition separately to each clip on the timeline or can I select and drag bulk loads of transitions? I am dealing with about 120 video clips of anything from 15 secs - 45 secs so there is a lot of transitions needed between clips. Would appreciate your help guys.

There already are some tools in the App Store (eg. My Medical - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-medical/id347860026?mt=8).
If you mean something that would interact directly with a Hospitals main system or such, I don't know of any. There are numerous companies now selling and setting up central records systems around the country, but I don't know of any that are working on companion patient tools yet.
Some charity and non-profit companies, like MedicAlert Foundation are working on such things and may have mobile apps on their radar, as funds allow them to develop such thing. MedicAlert already offers an EMIR service online, but no standalone mobile app for it yet (you manage it via their web portal).
Epocrates (owned by Athena Health) might also have something in the works, or at least an interest in such a thing.

Need some expert advise on updating second dev.

I have a production database (11.1.0.7, 64 bit) that is built on redhat 5.4 64 bit. I just built a secondary box exactly the same as production. I sent a cold copy over (about two weeks old) to the new box and all started up fine. The SIDs on both databases are the same, just the server names are different. Also, the file structure is the same as well. Pretty straight forward. My issue is, I want to manually keep my new db updated from production. I don't want the SYSMAN schema or the public management view synonyms in the public schema over-written, becuase I would have to always rebuild the db control
repository if overwritten. Probably familiar with this command: emctl -config dbcontrol db -repos create. Don't want to keep dropping and recreating that after a refresh from production to my new dev box.
Any suggetions in manually keeping my dev box updated, but preserving my db control so others may access the database via WEB? The secondary or new host is in NOARCHIVELOG mode, so I guess that would rule out replication, but that can be changed if needed.
Appreciate any input..

So, if I've well understood, you want to keep updated a selection of Schema of your Dev database from
the Production.
I think you can use Oracle STREAM technology to replicate a part of your database, but the 2 databases
must be in ARCHIVELOG mode.

Oracle Stream will update automatically the Target database from the Source one.

A beginner in desperate need of help :D!

Hi all! First time posting on these forums, but I have been a lurker for a long time.
I'm making a website for someone who specifically requested using Flash, and I know how to do everything...well almost everything.

I was following a tutorial, but changing a whole lot of things to be more appropriate for my needs. The only thing I can't seem to change on my own is adding several pictures to the "Full Project Panel". That is found when clicking any project in the Projects page. I have it so when you click on a project, you get more info about that project. What I want to add is a slideshow in the Full Project Panel.
If you see the "Multi-purpose 1" project and click on it, you'll see I found a way to add two pictures below each other. What I want though is a way to navigate between 5-6 pictures in each Full Project Panel, accessing those images through the xml file.
I'm open to any solution that can achieve this, and I really have been working on this issue alone for the past 3 days and I just can't seem to figure out a way...
I'm actually quite new to flash, so sorry if there's some easy answer I'm missing.

Just bumping this with an update.
I managed to find a way to play with the alpha effect on pictures and having buttons to make a manual slideshow. With Tweening I can add nice transitioning effects, so hopefully that problem is solved, with one exception.
I have the the project panels that open up the fullproject panels as a 'for loop', so I can't manipulate one without changing the other. The problem here is that I might have 5 pictures for the first project, hence needing 5 buttons, but I might have 4 pictures for the second project, only needing 4 buttons. Is there a way I can set the fifth button to hide if I add an array to the project panels?
Something like "if fullProjectPanel.Array = 2, button5.visible = false"? (not perfect syntax, just would the concept itselft work?

I wonder if anyone can help me, it seems everywhere i search for a solution to this problem, im faced with brick walls!
A friend gave me his PowerMac G4 many years ago, its running OSX 10.3, but i recently bought snow leopard to upgrade it. The DVD drive works fine to open and reads the DVD in 'finder', but will not install the CD, and also I cannot choose the boot from the CD/DVD drive in startup disk. I have tried holding the option key, and/or c upon reboot, but there I am only given the option to boot to OSX or the previously installed OS9.
Anyone got any bright ideas? I really would appreciate some clarity on this matter! Many thanks!

Note there are limitations in upgrading to Tiger & Leopard you should be aware of too.
If Mac OS 9 by booting into Mac OS 9 itself is needed, Leopard still supports that.
However, you need at minimum an 867 Mhz G4 built-in (not upgraded) to install Leopard.
If Mac OS 9 under Classic is needed, you can't use Leopard, as it does not support Classic.

How do I do something equivalent to System.out.println(Something); when trying to test what the effect of something using JSF2.0 and backing beans, remember something something about Loggers years ago when trying out JSP, which was very confusing, and was never really able to grasp it, is the Logger Class still the way to test with JSF2.0 or is there an easier way.

Nothing in JSF prevents you from using System.out.println().
If you want to use a logging system, there is one built into the JRE since 1.4 or so. Or you could use log4j, slf4j, commons-logging, etc., etc.

For many of you I have been on these forums for quite sometime and now I am in need of SERIOUS advice. With the acquisition of a Power Mac G5 Quad taking over most of my everyday activities which I do on my mac pro, I am in desperate need of trying to figure out how I can get the best out of my 2009 mac pro of which I worked so hard in making it a 6-core 2010 machine.. Now I am thinking I might have gone overboard, way overboard as I am not making use of the machine and its fullest potential. I don't have really a lot of income coming in right now as I am unemployed, though I am getting a pension and unemployment, but not enough to buy serious applications for taking advantage of the power in my mac pro.
Can someone advise on how I can get the best out of my 6-core mac pro without having to spend 1000's of dollars on stuff I may or may never ever need? Other than video editing, is there any other way I can get the best out of using my machine for what its intended for? Here is what I currently use my mac pro for, thus far:
1. Everyday stuff, browsing internet, forums, emailing.
2. sometimes I will burn two dvds/cd's simultaneously, sometimes not.
3. Retro gaming though I do have some older modern games I play from time to time.
4. I had bootcamp installed, but no more as I can do most of the work I need on the OS X platform.
5. When I ever get dvds, I rip them using handbrake just to take advantage of all my cores, even though mactheripper is much faster and only uses some of the cores.
As of right now most of the above I do on my newly acquired Power Mac G5 Quad and my mac pro is on the floor, disconnected and not being used. The problem is that I got the mac pro because of its expandability and I realize my BIGGEST MISTAKE here was that it is in no way a consumer type machine, but for many years I have used desktop macs for my purposes and expansion.
This is my only intel mac, as my PB G4 is being used for my mobile computing and does everything I throw at it, Power Mac G5 does also what I through at it. The G4 Pismo is only used for OS 9 nostalgia to if I ever have a yearn to retro back to the beginning days of OS 9
Question: With my limited amount of funds, what can I do to get the best out of my Mac Pro?? I don't want to sell it for something cheaper or less, as I really do love the expansion capability of the mac pro and its case for prolonging the system. I don't plan on getting a future mac pro as for what I use it for it certainly would be a waste.
I know I have been rude to some of you and I know its been a rocky road between all of you on this forum and me, but I am now in a desperate, precarious position.. What really can I use my mac pro for other than using it like my PM G5 Quad? I am starting to also think the Quad is overkill, but nevertheless, I have a love for both Intel and PowerPC. And yes, I plan on getting Lion as I do want my mac pro to keep up with at least software and updates to the OS.

LOL, I think the G5s are already obsolete & a Legacy Mac as far as Apple is concerned, yet MHz per MHz they can still compete favorably with the right SW.

No iPods here, but Macs have traditionally been weak in USB amperage, I'd think if all else fails an AC powered USB hub would vertainly cure it.

Begun when the mac hung for nearly an hour. I held the power key to force a shut off.
This made me think of erasing some things on my hard drive. I used cmd r for disk utility and begun erasing volumes.
Then, I thought instead, why not just reinstall OSX since nothing I wanted was on it.
I tried to reinstall OSX but this time it loaded then suddenly said, an error occurred.
I Went back to disk utility and cleared stuff I can't even remember.
Another unbelievable thing happened. The disk utility actually hung for a good ten minutes! i went and forced a shut off again.
Now, whenever I turn the mac on, a flashing folder appears.
at this point, I usually turn to the net for answers.
Greatest thing is, every cmd something I try doesn't even trigger a reaction. Only cmd opt showed my mouse cursor.
i Do not have the original OSX install disk for my mac. Any geniuses got any clues???

Problem Description:
I would like to write a custom function (e.g to convert local time zone to utc and from utc time zone to local) and import that function in the BO 4.0 universe so that universe has the ability to use this function.
I understand BO 4.0 supports importing of the custom functions e.g data_quality_custom_functions.atl.
Expert advise Required from you on below questions:
Now my question is how to write a custom function and generate the required .atl files that can be imported in the universe?
Does this require any specific tool/API's to generate these functions ?
Can we use traditional languages like C/C++ to generate the custom functions or does it uses any script based languages?
Is there any flexibility to accommodate complex algorithms in the custom based function?
Are do we have to approach SAP to generate the .atl files by giving some interface document?
It would be of great help at this stage if you could provide some insight into the mentioned areas as we are in a critical stage to finalize a design approach. If you have time to answer our queries and require additional details on why we have to go for custom functions then I will be glad to provide right level of details.

Once I wrote my password, and for now on, everytime I start the session, another window advise me that "Java SE 6" is missing, due that, the computer can't run some "CS5Service Manager". If I try to install it, the download ends with an error. If finally, you skip the istallation, you arrive to the dock, but the menu bar at the top of the screen doesn't show up.
In addition, my trackpad doesn't works either. I can move the arrow but i can't click anywhere, probably because the option of clicking by touching is disabeled and I can't performance a regular click.
I'll be very glad if someone know what the heck is happening with my computer. Anyway, I'm going to the genius bar next Saturday. Thx!

The Java program you are running is broken.
But we don't know what it is doing and where it is broken. Only the people with the source for the program (puzzlepirates) can help you.
It is not my fault if they won't help you or told you Java is broken.

something else is wrong on my computerAs a wild guess there is something wrong with the DNS on your machine or proxy or something like that. This is a guess based on the UnknownHostException. But again that is only a guess and the best guess one can make based on the information present.
The problem I think is that their applet tries to do something but doesn't account for connections like yours and is blowing up because of that.
Again only a guess and in the end really does nothing to solve your problem. If you want to solve this problem email the stack trace and perhaps my comments in this post about the UnknownHostException to puzzlepirates and ask them for help.
Nobody else can help you but them.

PMW (Payment Medium Workbench) and needs to send Payment Advises to Vendor

We are using PMW (Payment Medium Workbench) and our client needs to send Payment Advises through mail. After running F110 system should trigger mail to vendor for payment advise.
We have created one DME format and it's working fine. DME file is getting generated when we assign DME format to our payment method.
we have also made the change for payment advice sending through email. Copy FM SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 to ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040
Go to transaction FIBF
Settingsprocess modules of an SAP application
Add a new entry for 00002040 FI-FI ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040
Make use of FM ZSAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 for adding vendor email address and make the payment medium.
Now the problem is, we can not do this in one go, if we need to create DME file than we have to assign DME format to our payment method and if we have to send payment advice to our vendor than we need to use Payment Medium Program RFFOGB_T (standard program). It's radio button and we can not choose both the program and Payment Medium Workbench.
I need your valuable advice what need to be done in order to get DME file and payment advice send to vendor in one go.

It sounds like you cannot use either camera, nor the LED as a camera. I want to recommend a couple of things here.
First, close all the open and running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, I would next backup your device to iTunes, and restore it:
