Behavior of "Copy As..." in IMG...

Hi all,
When I go down this path in IMG -- Time Management -> Work Schedules -> Daily Work Schedules -> Define Daily Work Schedules, I want to copy one that I currently have in my list and then for the new one simply give it a new DWS grouping with all the other fields being the same as the one I'm copying. However, when I highlight the line I want to copy and press "Copy As...", the status bar on the next screen reads "Specify target entries" with only the cancel X option available at the top. I don't see any way to save a new entry with a new DWS grouping. What am I doing wrong? What are the steps to using Copy As?
Thanks!

Hi Alli,
First  select ur source field, and choose copy icon  and press ENTER and then change ur grouping and text and again SAVE ur entries.
This will solve ur problem.

  • Weird behavior after copying from one mac to another?

    Hi!
    First, pardon me if this has been asked before. It's kind of hard to search on this topic.
    I made a slide using Keynote08 on one mac (MacPro) and copied it to another (Macbook Pro).
    After opening it on my MBP using exactly the same Keynote08 (ver 4.0), I noticed that some pages look different, e.g., some of text boxes were disappeared, some grouped objects got messed up, and layouts of some of diagrams were changed. I just don't understand.
    Is this a (known) bug?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,
    I cannot yet offer much help, but I am researching a similar issue, with exporting a Keynote to PowerPoint. Even on my Mac Pro, if I export the presentation, and then view it in PowerPoint, I am presented with constraints that clearly show me some text that is outside the area that will actually view in PowerPoint -- outside what some applications would call the safe area. When this was discovered just before a presentation, where the only computer that could be linked to the pre-installed projector and screen was a PC with PowerPoint, I had to edit the font size, and paragraph spacing to cure.
    This happened Tuesday night, and I am now researching how to prevent in the future. I think the key to my experience, and perhaps yours, is the later adherence to the screen proportions, but I am not yet sure. Perhaps, we can both be enlightened from someone else? On the Mac Pro and 23" Cinema, while in Keynote, no warning about exceeding the "safe area" was given.

  • Transport behavior of copied objects?

    Hello,
    we have a Z FM 'z_create' which is under a transport DS1K9011111"
    I have created another Z FM copying  'z_create_done'.
    Both are under same Function group.
    now when i see the TR log in version management , i can see only Function group in my Task under the existing TR.
    I cannot see my FM ...
    does anyone know the reason??

    Hello,
    You have posted a question that is related to system transports. Unfortunately this category is not related to these kind of questions. SAP TM deals with logistics in the real world - moving pallets, containers, loading trucks, etc.

  • Disk Copy .img w/out resource fork

    I recently zeroed-out and repartitioned my Wallstreet hard-drive. Before I did so, I put all important files (mostly a decade's worth of Word .docs) in a compressed, read-only .img created by Disk Copy.
    Due to cramped-ness of my 2 gb drive, lack of CD burner, and difficulty Apple-Talking between OS 9 and Tiger, I decided to have Disk Copy write the .img directly to my USB thumb drive.
    Unfortunately, the thumb drive was naturally in a FAT format. And since it took upwards of four hours to create and compress the .img via my USB 1.1 connection, I decided not to test mount it before I proceeded with the repartition. And so I didn't realize until much too late that the .img I'd created was doomed to fail from the start, being without a resource fork.
    So now I've spent two days trying to recover the pristine beauties of the .img data fork but have so far failed.
    I've used ResEdit to create a fork and copy and paste into it the three necessary resource types from various uncorrupted .imgs made specifically for the purpose. I've reset creator and type to rohd and ddsk. I've tried fiddling with the code in the bcem resource to trick Disk Copy into mounting the issue. I've turned off all checksumming. I've tried both Disk Copy and the Disk Utilities in Jaguar and Tiger. And I've tried to mount it with a disk-mounting utility in Windows XP, thinking that perhaps a Windows utility might succeed, not needing the resource fork.
    Nothing has worked. I get a variety of errors depending on which OS I'm working in, but the gist is the same. File is damaged; can't be mounted.
    I've been through all the what-ifs and should-haves, and I've ransacked Google and various boards for ideas, and I'm still stuck.
    Does anyone know of a method whereby the contents of an (unfortunately) compressed Disk Copy .img can be recovered without the resource fork? I've got 835 mb of perfect data that I can't access for the lack of a few k.
    Are there any bcem resource hacks I can try?
    Any third party utilities?
    Windows utilities?
    I'd even be willing to try hacking Disk Copy itself if somebody could get me pointed in the right direction.
    Disk Copy, give me back my legions!!
    Thanks for any and all help.
    Dave

    Ha HA!
    The problem was not quite what I thought.
    The problem wasn't that I had saved the .img to a FAT thumb drive. The problem was that I copied the contents of that FAT disk onto my Tiger Intel iMac and then later recopied it onto the FAT drive--without including the OS-9-created FINDER.DAT and RESOURCE.FRK files when I did so; I simply grabbed the .img file, thinking it had all the info I needed.
    But then I read this:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=121732
    When I went back and looked on my Intel drive, I found the RESOURCE.FRK and FINDER.DAT files still patiently waiting for me. I copied those files (and Desktop DB, Desktop DF, FILEID.DAT for good measure) onto the FAT thumb drive along with the .img file and plugged the drive into the Wallstreet. Lo and behold, only the .img file was visible. OS 9 had automatically taken the information from the other files (including the longed-for resource fork) and incorporated them back into the .img file.
    I copied it onto the Wallstreet, and bingo! it mounted perfectly.
    Yay!
    Perhaps some poor soul in the future will benefit from my experience (although given the state of OS 9 these days, that's probably not too likely.)
    Thanks all,
    Dave

  • Repricing the SAP contract generated from follow up doc in copy control

    Hi,
    I am facing issue with the conditions copy at item categories level at the time of follow up document in copy control.
    The challenge is like this:
    There is an option for the conditions copy for line item level upon which the corresponding pricing is generated.
    D -- Copy all Conditions
    C -- Copy manual conditions
    The issue here is at config level they will maintain only Copy manual conditions depending upon whether it is a follow-up / Copy it should change the behavior as Copy all Conditions.
    I tried to do this with crmv_event(After with reference::50) though but the problem is its triggering after the pricing got generated.
    Welcome you ideas to resolve the issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Madhu J

    Hello Ravikanth
    With status management it's not possible to prevent the creation of follow-up documents in CRM.
    You have to use the badi CRM_COPY_BADI. Here the exception DO_NOT_COPY must be raised. But it's not possible to gray out the path of the follow-up transactions e.g. for 'varian quote'.
    I hope this could be helpful.
    Best regards,
    Maggie

  • Is there a way to fix the change in copy and pasting email addresses?

    In the past, whenever I've copied and pasted email addresses, for example, copying the email address from one email into a form field on a Web page, Address Book, or even the search field in Mail, only the email address would get pasted in. Now, since I've upgraded to Snow Leopard, it seems, the name and email address is getting pasted in like this: "NYTimes.com" <[email protected]>.
    It seems when pasted into the search field like this, even Mail has trouble finding other emails with the same address, which is often what I use it for. Is there a settings fix for this or am I just going crazy?
    Thanks,
    Bob

    I found it in Mac tips
    Thankfully, Apple included a hidden preference to revert to the 10.5 behavior of copying only the e-mail address. Quit Mail if it’s running, then enter this command in Terminal (in Applications -> Utilities):
    defaults write com.apple.mail AddressesIncludeNameOnPasteboard -bool NO
    Restart Mail, and Copy Address will once again do just what it says, which is the preferred behavior for my use of Mail. If you try this and decided you prefer the default version, quit Mail and run this command in Terminal:
    defaults delete com.apple.mail AddressesIncludeNameOnPasteboard
    Thanks to the fine folks at ecamm network for digging this one out and writing about it on their blog.

  • Duplicate Shopping Cart  line items  - Supplier doesnt get copied ?

    Hi,
    we are on SRM7  extended classic scenario and while we use the "Duplicate" option to copy the existing line items in a shopping cart then the supplier doesn't get copied to new line item, field remains blank? is it a standard behaviour?
    what are the steps needed to make this happen ? appreciate your help in this regard.
    Thanks,
    Maverick

    Hi
    In SRM , if you copy the line item all item data must copy including suppliers.
    step by step tell us
    like
    1 create a shopping cart describe requirement
    2. manually assigned a source of supply - assigned a vendor
    3. copy the line item into another one
    4. in the latest line item supplier was not copied.
    The behavior of copying/pasting or duplicating items in a SC is different depending on the status of the SC

  • Can I copy a spreadsheet from Numbers into the body of an email message?

    I created a basic calendar originally in Excel and have moved to Numbers. When I copy the Numbers spreadsheet calendar to the body of an email message, it loses all borders and formats and looks like a word salad. I need to paste it into the email message because my recipients are unable to open an attachment. Please help me find a solution. I am a new MAC user.

    You can't change the behavior of copy/paste when the destination is unaware of the Numbers specs.
    I know that the mail.app available under Mac Os X 10.5 is able to do some kinds of formatting but
    (a) I don't know which
    (b) I don't know how they are reflected if the target program is not the same mail.app.

  • Copying Packaging Spec

    When I am copying packaging spec, the fields  'Category', 'Sub-Category' & 'Group' are getting copied over, however the fields under 'Available UOM', 'UOM Conversions' and Cross Reference' are not getting copied, whether I choose to keep the copied Spec linked to the Template or not. [Both the Spec copied from and the Template used has those UOM/Cross reference fields defined] . Aren't those UOM/Cross reference fields suppose to be copied over to the new Spec?  When I create a new Spec from Template, system brings over all fields [UOM/Cross reference etc.] from Template, so I was expecting the same behavior while copying too, since I am linking to the Template during the copying process. Can someone shed some light on this issue please?

    I believe that the functional use cases are different. When you are copying from a Template, you are not copying a real existing specification - rather, you are creating a spec with values that should be there by default. These values from a template are typically not meant to be specific to one single specification, but rather to a grouping/classification of specs. Perhaps a Beverage type specification, created from a Beverage template, would have certain Available UOMs that a Sauce specification would not. Cross References on a template may be used for pack size purposes, which may also be specific to a template.
    When you copy an existing specification, the assumption is that the specification is linked to some external system(s) using the cross references - if those were copied over, you could have an possible discrepancy. Also, since you are doing a copy and not a new revision, we assumed the UOM info would be different so is is cleared out.

  • Copy opportunity from previous expired organization

    Hi,
    Our salesperson have requirement to create opportunity from previous created ones, so we use opportunity copy function, but I found there has some problems when the oppts created previously contain expired organization data. For example, if the salesperson was in sales office A and he created oppt 1, now he was assigned to sales office B and he want to copy from oppt 1. As sales area A is invalid now, he will not able to save that, in our scenario, salesperson have no auth to change their org data, so how can we let salesperson copy opportunity with latest organization data? Is it required enhancement? If so, could you please tell me which component to enhance and how to do that? Thank you very much!
    Best Regards,
    Jeff

    Hi Ganesh,
    Thank you very much! It works. I firstly register the copying routine thru IMG: CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copying control for Bus Trans->Define copying control for transaction types. Then implement the BADI you mentioned with the registered copying routine.

  • [SOLVED] LVM/GRUB2 - core.img too big for the post-MBR gap

    Hi guys,
    I'm trying to make a fresh install of Archlinux on my laptop but I'm stuck with the bootloader installation.
    I chose to give LVM a try and thus need to use GRUB2 because I got used to it over the time and don't want to manage a separate /boot partition.
    Everything went ok until I tried to copy the core.img file to the post-MBR gap by issuing grub-install
    grub-install --target=i386-pc --recheck /dev/sda
    /usr/sbin/grub-bios-setup: warning: your core.img is unusually large. It won't fit in the embedding area.
    /usr/sbin/grub-bios-setup: error: embedding is not possible, but this is required for RAID and LVM install.
    So it seems that because of my LVM partitions, GRUB2 needs a bigger core.img ! I didn't know it before starting and I let cfdisk use XP-compliant parition alignment (or whatever it is). Then I created a VG with /dev/sda1 as the only PV in it :
    fdisk -l /dev/sda
    Disk /dev/sda: 160.0 GB, 160041885696 bytes, 312581808 sectors
    Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
    Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    Disk identifier: 0x0c1a07c1
    Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
    /dev/sda1 * 63 234372284 117186111 8e Linux LVM
    /dev/sda2 234372285 312581807 39104761+ 8e Linux LVM
    I took a quick look at the parted documentation but LVM partition resizing is not mentionned :
    Supported file systems:
    ext2, ext3 - restriction: the new start must be the same as the old start.
    fat16, fat32
    linux-swap
    reiserfs (if libreiserfs is installed)
    But it seems possible to resize virtual partitions using parted (https://www.gnu.org/software/parted/man … html#SEC66) and, by chance, the first virtual partition on my physical partition is my swap partition (which can be resized by parted):
    lvdisplay -m
    --- Logical volume ---
    LV Path /dev/vg1/archSwap
    LV Name archSwap
    VG Name vg1
    LV UUID FCvmH1-7spl-A6N1-AVw9-GPmI-opqX-AP5yVC
    LV Write Access read/write
    LV Creation host, time ,
    LV Status available
    # open 2
    LV Size 3.00 GiB
    Current LE 768
    Segments 1
    Allocation inherit
    Read ahead sectors auto
    - currently set to 256
    Block device 254:3
    --- Segments ---
    Logical extent 0 to 767:
    Type linear
    Physical volume /dev/sda1
    Physical extents 0 to 767
    So is there any hope I can resize my virtual swap partition using parted then the LVM partition itself (or any other tool capable of it?) or am I screwed up here?
    Thanks for your help!

    Missed that one! I guess I used cfdisk to partition my disk and it seems that it automatically starts first partition at sector 63 for MBR partitioning scheme... it might worth adding a warning about that in the beginners guide ?
    It does seem possible to shrink a  PV (http://fedorasolved.org/Members/zcat/sh … -partition) but even in the man pages I don't see any way of specifying where the partitions must start. Besides, I guess that shrinking volumes is done by moving the end so it probably won't work for me.
    Since I don't have much to lose and a lot of free space on my PV I'll just try to remove and recreate the physical partition /dev/sda1 and then try to rebuild the lvm using pvchange, vgchange and lvchange.

  • Adding behavior to spry:repeat

    Hi all,
    I need to hook into the creation of DIVs during data load (using SpryData) to add behavior to the DIV.  Is there some built-in hook, or event that is thrown to do this?  Or do I need to hack SpryData to do it?
    Basically, what I want to do is position each element in a specific space, and then add custom events to each DIV as it is created.
    The code I have so far looks like this:
    <body>
         <div id="mainContainer">
              <div id="menuContainer" class="MenuContainer">
                   <div id="profileMenu" class="ProfileMenu" spry:region="dsIndigoProfileMenu">
                        <div id="p{ds_RowNumber}" class="ProfileMenuItem" spry:repeat="dsIndigoProfileMenu">
                             <div class="content">{@label}</div>
                        </div>
                   </div>
                   <div id="mainMenu" class="MainMenu" spry:region="dsIndigoMainMenu">
                        <div id="m{ds_RowNumber}" class="MainMenuItem" spry:repeat="dsIndigoMainMenu">
                             <div class="content">{@label}</div>
                        </div>
                   </div>
                   <div id="subMenu" class="SubMenu">
                        SUB
                   </div>
              </div>
         </div>
    </body>
    For each spry:repeat section, I need to hook in so I can alter the inner DIV (class="content") to layout the information in a specific manner.
    Any input greatly appreciated!
    Cheers,
    Chris

    Not sure what you mean by hooks, but if you are speaking of styling content, use CSS. Leave the Spry Data Javascript file intact, or it will act up on you. If your 'chunks' of data are what you want to dive into and style bits of each chunk (all technical terms...), you might need to subdivide your data into smaller chunks. Then, wrapping in divs with classes will give you control over styling.
    You already have a cascade of classes and ids in your code that you can use to attach styles to.
    If you are talking about adding Javascript behaviors, they are typically "attached" using <a> tags, as you need to have defined elements to attach them to.
    But generally speaking, when you use Spry:Repeat regions you can totally style up your first region, including the behaviors, then when 'running' the repeat, all the styling and behavior is copied to the repeats.

  • How can I copy linked properties without losing the link to the control?

    I've been dealing with an annoying issue when copying/pasting properties. If the properties are linked to a control when I copy them, they lose that link in the pasted version.
    Basically, copy/paste is not really following the expected behavior of "copying" in that the resulting "paste" is different from the item being copied. Is there a way around this besides having to manually go to each one and re-link it?
    Below are snippets to demonstrate the problem:

    The behavior you're seeing is, unfortunately, not unique to you. It's the way LabVIEW works. Until enough people complain and get NI to change it, that is. Omar's link to the proposed idea is one.
    An alternative is to right-click and drag. This creates a copy. At least when you're within the same VI, that is. This, and other nifty tricks can be found in the Quick Reference Card.
