Behaviors Panel Missing columns FW-8

I'm running fireworks 8 on an intel Macbook, OS 10.4. When I
open the behaviors panel, I get a 'onMouseOver" listing but nothing
else. Cannot seem to highlight an event and there are no actions or
events headings in the panel. As say, a rollover, the behavior
works in preview, (and in dreaweaver), but if I want to use a click
event, instead of a rollover, I cannot do it. (This bieng for a
swap image action). Any idea of what is going on. At this point,
i'm adding all my behaviors in Dreamweaver...

You discussed Fireworks on a Windows PC. I run Fireworks at
home on an Apple desktop and an Apple laptop. Only the desktop
(Apple G4) has had this issue for about two weeks now (it was fine
for several years), the laptop's Fireworks is working well.
At school, I teach Fireworks on Windows PCs and am not having
this issue there on the PC's either.
Your comment about some internal Fireworks interface resource
causing it sounds logical. There is nothing named "SMALLE" or
"SMALLE.FON" on any of my hard drives :-( I have not purposefully
disabled any of my fonts lately.
As a test, I fired up Fireworks MX 2004 on the problem
desktop and the Behaviors panel was functioning normally in that
version of the program.
So, I am going to try reinstalling Fireworks 8 in the hopes
that some missing/damaged resource is replaced with a new one that
is working correctly.

Missing Columns from List Content Type

Hi,
I'm having some strange problems with one of my site collections, I have site content types with a few columns in it and I'm using them in 3 different libraries.
However recently something happened and it seems the list content types in one of the libraries have stopped using some of the columns set out in the site content type (according to library settings). The columns still show as part of the list (and the metadata
is still in there), when I've tried adding them back to the list content types, I do not see them in the list columns group, only in their original column group. If I try to add them to the list from their original group I get the errors similar to the following:

I've tried to make changes to the parent site content type, however those changes to not push down to the library in question. The missing columns have varied types (single line of text, lookup, managed metadata and so forth). All of these content types &
site columns were created through the user interface of SharePoint.
Can anyone help me with any ideas what has happened and/or how to fix this problem?

As I understand, you have custom content type in 3 libraries, while the issue occurs to the columns in this content type.
I wonder if the issue occurs to other two libraries as well?
From your description, "I've tried to make changes to the parent site content type, however those changes to not push down to the library in question", do you mean that changes in content type are not reflected to the list which is added to this
content type. If that is the case, I'd suggest you recreate content type.
If the site content type works well in other two libraries, please create a new library and add this content type. If it works well, then move the list content to this new list.

In Dreamweaver CS6, the Plus (+) button in the Server Behaviors panel is greyed out. How do I make it operational?

I am trying to restrict access to a page by redirecting unauthorized users to another page. The Adobe manual instructs me to:
Open the page you want to protect.
In the Server Behaviors panel (Window > Server Behaviors), click the Plus button and select User Authentication > Restrict Access To Page from the pop‑up menu.
I opened the page and went to the Server Behaviors panel.
Unfortunately, the Plus button is greyed out and not operational. How do I make the Plus button operational so that I can then select User Authentication, etc?

You can't apply server behaviors to pages that don't contain (or are specified to be when they are created) server scripting. That means they must have the proper filename extension, e.g., filename.php or filename.aspx/

If Nancy's advice doesn't make it pop up as a window, you may have it set as a tool bar, in which case, hitting Ctrl+F2 will make the tool bar appear/disappear.
To turn it back into a floating panel, click and drag the dashed line on the far left of the Insert tool bar and pull it away from the top. You can leave it as free floating or drag it to another edge until it highlights the edge and drop it to dock it to whichever side of the screen you prefer.

Flat File Import, Ignore Missing Columns?

The text files I'm importing always contain a fixed set of columns for example total number of full set of columns is 60, or a subset of those columns (some csv contain 40 columns, some contain 30 or 20 or any other number.) . I would like to import
these csv based on the column header inside the each csv, if it is a subset of full column set then the missing columns can be ignored with null value.
At the moment in SQL 2012, if I import a subset of columns in the csv file, the data doesn't import...I assume because the actual file doesn't include every column defined in the flat file source object?
Is it possible to accomplish this without dynamically selecting the columns, or using script component?

If the columns coming are dynamic, then you might have to first get it into staging table with a single column reading entire row contents onto that single column and parse out the column information using string parsing logic as below

Missing columns in spool

Hi,
I have a program that displays a very wide report using ALV list. When executed in foreground, the report comes out ok; but when it is executed in background, the report somehow gets cut (missing columns in the spool display and when printed). Why is that so? Are there any solutions for this?

Hi,
The standard line size that u can print is 255 characters in ALV report.
You can check notes 186603 to display report with more than 255 charecters.
you will get the detailed notes. In the Attachments you have the Z program code.
After creation of the new format, run the job with the new format ie. attach the new format to your printer, and run the job. Now take the spool number and put it as a parameters to the Z program.

Export Report Missing Columns

I have a normal report region (not interactive). It was working fine in APEX 3 but just recently upgraded to APEX 4. Now, it will miss some columns when I hit the Report Export link. I double checked and the column attribute is set to Yes for include in Export. I also have the column with the exact same column attribute settings on the exact same field on another page and it exports fine on that page.
Are there any reported bugs or anyone have any ideas?

I just fixed the problem, I had a column title with an under score (CLOSED_DATE) when I removed the underscore the problem was fixed, this missing columns is exported to excel now. Try renaming the column this will fix it also.

Behaviors Panel Empty

Hello. I'm using DW8 and created some events which work as they are supposed to, but when I try to edit them, nothing shows up in the Behaviors Panel. I tested it with DW MX that I still have installed, but the panel is the same - blank. Is there an option in my settings somewhere that I need selected to show my events? Thanks

Put your cursor inside the <body> of your document. If your cursor is in a coded area other than the body of your document, Behaviors don't display.

Dreamwever CS5 ERROR server behavior panel cannot determine wheter "command" or "recordset (Query)"

i get this error whenever i open pages created in CS4. ive tried deleting the cache file... deleting the entire configuration folder and letting DW re build it.. nothing... error still there. how can i turn it off? i also cant seem to find the "edit server behaviors" button.. double click? well DW freaks out with that aswell... yes i know i have some insanely hand edited code.. basically use DW as notepad replacement.. with extra features like having the option of "add recordset" then going and editing it to my liking.

this is a total show stopper for me.. im going to have to go back to a previous version cant click "ok" every time i open a page.. and every time i follow a include file.

Suddenly getting this goofball message in DW5.5 on Win7:
"The Server Behavior panel cannot determine whether "Command" or "Recordset (Query)" is applied to your page. Please select Edit Server Behaviors and change one of the two behaviors to ensure that each is uniquely identifiable."
Crazy thing is, it only happens on my workstation.
DW5.5 on my laptop opens the same .asp pages without this crazy message popping up.
Anybody know what the issue is?

I'd suggest that no answer means no answer yet. The person who can help may not have been on the forum the day the post was made.
That said, I'm starting to suspect that the cause must be an extension. Both boxes have the same version of DW and the same OS but both don't have the exact same extensions installed. Will play around and see what happens.

Can breadcrumb navigation be built in DW using the Behaviors panel?

I don't know enough javascript to code breadcrumb navigation, and I'm hoping that there is way
to create breadcumb navigation using the behaviors panel, or some other feature in DW.

Excel for iPad has missing columns

I've downloaded Excel for ipad and also have Office 365 Subscription. When I download Excel Spreadsheet from my OneDrive it opens up just fine, however, it is missing columns that are on Excel sheet from OneDrive. I also see no way to scroll sideways on the sheet. When I open a blank (new) sheet it scrolls just fine. Anybody else have these issues?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
