Being billed wrongly!!

I changed my cell phone family plan minutes from 700 to 1400 during the past month knowing that I was going to go over this month. I was exactly at 700 minutes in my plan when I spoke to a customer service rep online and made this change.
I got prorated without being warned about any secret charges Verizon would sneak up on me.
My overall minutes did not exceed 1400 or even 900 if they prorate both plans from the change date. But I got charged $111 overage minutes. I would have definitely stopped my minutes from increasing, had I known this is what they would do!
Ofcourse Verizon has an explanation for this. But for all practical purposes I feel cheated. I paid for 1400 minutes of time, did not go over 1400 minutes and yet am getting overtime minute bills!! I have paid every bill on time in the past. But the first chance that they get to jip me, they take it.
I am at the end of my contract. NO WAY that I am going to get tied into another 2 year contract with them.

Don't you think the Customer Service Rep should have warned me about this? She actually confirmed that I can change the plan this way, and I checked with her every step of the way to make sure nothing was being missed and that this would avoid overage charges. Even if I had not changed my plan at all I would not have gone over by 250 minutes and had to pay over $100 in overage charges. Why would I make a change that would require me to pay more? I contacted the service rep to reduce the possibility and number of overage charges, not increase them.
Of course I can not prove what the service rep said, only Verizon has those records. Also, I understand what the fine print says somewhere and I understand EXACTLY how I was misled. I find it to be very underhand. Just because a con follows a well thought-out paper trail of fine print does not make it a right or legitimate way to do business. That is what a CON is!
I am glad you are sympathetic with the tricks of the trade. If I don't get a sympathetic supervisor, then this will definitely end in a cancellation of service. I am not sympathetic. 
Verizon is too big to care I suppose!

Unless YOU specifically ask to have the new plan BACKDATED, proration will occur.This is how all cell companies handle plan changes.
So if you switched on the 15th day of your billing period, you would have overages if you used more than 350  minutes the first 15 days or over 700 minutes the last 15 days.
Unfortunately unless you find a sympathetic supervisor, you will be responsible for the charges.

    What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
    For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
    If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. If that is the case then you won't be able to download anything else (including app updates) until you've paid off what you owe : Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
    If you aren't getting the 'problem with a previous purchase' message then try logging into your account (not when trying to download something) and see if you get the 'none' option so that you can remove the card's details and be able to download updates to your apps : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support

    Hi, I think I am being billed for using the free ML workspace, or at least misunderstand why I am being billed a monthly charge for ML. 
    I see a monthly charge for one ML seat, and have one workspace which was migrate from the preview. The workspace shows as being free under settings. The workspace does not show in the manage.windowsazure.com portal. I can create and delete additional
    workspaces. 
    I was only exploring ML, and wish to cancel the monthly charge. How do I go about that?

    You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it.  If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

    You can call your credit card company and tell them to deny the charges.
    Communicate with iTunes customer service and have them end it
    Communicate with the app owner/seller
    You can also look into your iTunes settings and somewhere in your account info should be the ability to turn off or choose recurring charges (I've never set any up but have heard people talking about it)

    The Skype Credit orders you were referring to were successfully delivered to your account. You were able to use them to pay for the landline calls you made recently made.
    Please refer to the private message I sent to you. To check your private message, just go to Skype Community home page (community.skype.com), scroll at the bottom of the page. You will see "Private Message" just above "Users Online."

    How recently did you switch?  If it's less than 60 days, then Verizon simply reinstates your previous account.  The fact that you were on the EDGE plan and mailed the devices back, and they apparently are somewhere in the system, could cause complications, and it might just work out that you just go back on the same plan and they set you up with the same devices.  I'm not sure how it will go - but since you are still being billed for the devices...
