Being forced to change Administrator Account when Loading Visual Admin

Hello,
When logging into Visual Admin I am being forced to change my Administrator password.
I followed the instructions on enabling the SAP* user. When I log into Visual Admin I can not change the "No password change required" checkbox for the Administrator user, and it does not look like it is set either.
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated?

No. It all of the sudden required me to change it. I do not want to change the password, I just need to know why I am getting the prompt and how to reslove it.

Why can't I login into my Apple account without being forced to change my password.

I received an email from Apple:

Shipping and/or billing address.
When I log on to check my Shipping and Billing address I am prompted to change my password, which I do NOT want to do.
I cannot go any further than the forced password change screen.

I am not happy with being forced to change my password. it almost makes me wonder if I have been redirected to a 'scam' site.

How are you trying to log into your account ? You can log into an account :
- via the 'manage your apple id' button on http://appleid.apple.com
- Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes
- tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on an iOS device
All three let you view and/or change your billing address, though only the last you let you view payment details. You could try one of the other methods and see if they let you login without requesting a password change.

If you want to check your account's purchase history then you can do so via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com

Why am I being forced to change my Apple ID Password

I am no longer able to access my Apple ID account settings as every time I log in I am prompted to change my password. My password absolutely meets all the minimum requirements and yet I cannot get past the login for being forced into changing the password. Is this defective behavior on the Apple site or is Apple really forcing me to change my password?

Welcome to the Support Communities! So that I can understand your question, where are you trying to log in when the password request happens? Are you at iCloud.com, or using email, or iTunes, FaceTime or iMessage? Are you getting an error message that states to change the password, or is it that when you enter your password, you can't get past the log in screen? Are you working with a Mac, an iPhone or iPad, or a PC?
The first thing I would suggest is to go to the Apple ID website, sign in with your password, and confirm that the one you are currently using is correct. If you change the password here, you will need to change it in each of the settings I mentioned above.

Click “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID. If you're unable to receive messages at your trusted device, follow the guidelines for what to do if you can't sign in with two-step verification.
Click "Password and Security".
In the "Choose a new password" section, click Change Password.
Enter your old password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Click Save when done.

If the issue still persists, then re-entering the password information for each of the services above would be the next thing to try. You can do this from the Settings app on the iOS devices; System Preferences on your Mac; or iCloud Control Panel on a PC.

How do I stop AE from changing my workspace when loading a project? I've looked everywhere and can't find it. I work on a lot of projects that a peer works on and his screen size is smaller and his workspace is different than mine. Is there a setting I can change so that when I open one of his projects my AE window doesn't change?

No. That behavior is intended. The problem is probably that your colleague uses the "Standard" workspace in a custom configuration and since it is matched by name, it emsses up your "Standard" workspace as well. Therefore advise your colleague to create his own workspace with a custom name and/or create your own custom workspace to be able to more quickly reset things.

I have this one user who is being forced to change the EBS password evry next login. He alswys being asked to change the password every next day.
What could the Possibly the issue?
Password expiration is set none. and there is no specific settings done in profile options for sign on. but only this user is facing this issue.. any idea?

Changing Administrator Account

I recently purchased another G4 MDD 1.42GHz with OS X 10.4.11 installed. I need this model for my small business since 85% of my customers still use OS 9.2.2 and Classic software.
The User account (administrator) was set up as "Mac" and with a blank password. I am the only user of this computer and would like to change the name of the Administrator, i.e., from Mac to another name and also change the short name and then add my password. I can access everything the way it is now except my networked computers. When I try to connect, it asks for a password, which I haven't created yet, it's still "Blank" and that doesn't work. Is there an easy way to make this change or do I have to reinstall the operating system and go through the setup procedure? Can't find anything pertaining to this in Apple's support section.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Change Administrator account name

I stupidly (now it seems) used the name of my preferred user account whilst setting up snow leopard server.
Now I want to add this user account name as a 'reguler' user in the workgroup manager but of course the system refuses as it says the name conflicts with an already created account.
However I cannot see this account in either the workgroup administrator application or the system's account manager (from the system preferences panel).
I have changed the name in the system account manager from the unwanted name to 'administrator' but it still seems to have the old name 'trapped' in the system
Any ideas as to how I can free up this old name?

Join the club ! I did exactly the same thing. I do know of a bit of a 'hack' to change the username, which I did try myself on my server, but to be honest I found other things started going a bit strange once I did so I ended up doing a clean re-install.

Go to
SPRO -> Materials Management -> Logistics Invoice Verification -> Activate Direct posting to GL accounts & Material accounts.
Execute, select "New Entries" and put a tick mark if you want only the FI field editable. If you want FI and Mat. accounts editable then tick both.

You will have to sign out from the iCloud preference pane and sign in with the new ID. Of course when you sign out all your iCloud data - email, calendars, contacts - will disappear from your Mac, assuming you have indeed been syncing them to the iCloud account you want to stop using. You can transfer the calendars and contacts manually, but you can't move the email addresses from one iCloud account to another.

Where did you install Office?
If you installed it to the Applications folder in the admin account that ie reason why only you can access it.
If you want everyone to be able to access it then you should install it in the Applications folder at root level.

Hi,
Purchase Credit Account is an expense account to be used as default when a credit transaction for purchasing is created, for example, an A/P credit memo.
This account defaults for new warehouses, item groups and item master data records creation.
The purchase credit account can be the same as the Expense Account, in case you do not wish to record credits to a separate account.
It is mandatory account for Initial Setup.

Being forced to merge accounts when using Windows ...

I have been starting to explore Windows 8 and decided I should install Skype. Naturally I discovered very quickly that there is an App and thought, great, but how wrong could I have been. It is completely un-useable because I do not want to merge my skype account with my Microsoft live account(for numerous reasons). I agree that some services being merged are very handy however in this case I feel it is a very bad idea if "Microsoft" can't stop hotmail accounts from being hacked how on earth can they stop your live id from being hacked.
Now lets roll the clocks back quite a bit. Microsoft were instructed by the international courts that it was "illegal" to force any user to have to use only their browser and give them a choice. Surely this is along the same lines. You are being forced to do something that you don't want to do to continue to use a service on their operating system.
I personally keep my skype account linked to a specific email account for many reasons and give me the ability to keep my identity private and from certain people.
I should and you should not have to fight to get your accounts unlinked and from what I have read many of you are having troubles doing this.

I have messed around with this, and unfortunately the app seems to not be able to be unlinked...
That being said: I've found a personal solution in that I can use Skype desktop (which works perfectly well in W8, just not as a tile app).
And for the poeple saying "why dont you just join it"...
I think it's important to understand the context here:
I have two work skype identities [that I need] and a personal identity.
I wouldn't mind the personal identity syncing up, but i NEED to be able to operate skype in separation from my user account.
So - to recap: use skype desktop. It works, although it's a workaround, not a solution.
Could someone from Skype please respond as to the plans on this?
