Just dowload Bella for my E7.. Love it. Multiple screen faster Web access and much better fonts.. The Size of the Download is 314 MB and is only available by Nokia Suite.

I'm stuck with Australian version of N8 while living in Estonia, 80 km from Finland. I bought it in November (knowing that reasonable UI Belle is available soon) last year from a local webstore and found out the truth as I received the thing in post. Kind of ripoff by the store not mentioning it before. It means also that the store is giving me warranty instead of Nokia. I contacted them yesterday about the situation and they dont see any problems, I just have to take the phone to them for updating.
Anyway, I'm following the situation with great interest. Seems to be typical PR situation where Nokia chose to spit their clients in the face and MAYBE to wipe it off later IF clients get angry. Same as with Nokia Maps and Cyprus.

0599330 was available but we just had to remove the software to quickly correct an error. We will re-upload it as soon as possible.
059B656 is a slo called swap product code, please check with your local Nokia Carepoint to get the update.

What is the reason ? These phones were bought "naked"...
Don't we deserve software updates ?
I had to go to a Nokia Care Center to get Belle (and I had to pay for it !).
Belle is ok, but I will not buy another Nokia phone since I can not be sure to have software updates in the future !

The symbian belle update Will be available for all phones that are running symbian Anna now according to Nokia. But the date of availability is still a mystery... The official release date for symbian belle is not a date but a time frame that is from October to December 2011. But with Nokia yet to release symbian Anna to several regions, looks like symbian belle's arrival may be delayed. Realistically we can expect in December 2011 or January 2012. If it goes beyond that then you'll be seeing threads of angry customers asking for it to be released soon. :-)

Belle Update for N8 Product code 059D7G5

Hi,
I was hoping to get belle update for my N8 in Ghana but since the release of the update, I have consistently checked with Nokia suite for the update but I always get no update available. Yesterday, I got an update notification only to realise that it is a service pack 1 for symbian anna.
I have gone through the list of product codes and do not find my product code in the list.
I know I have a genuine Nokia N8, T-Mobile branded.
I had the anna updatte the first time I connected the phone to Nokia Suite and was hoping to to get the belle update this time.
I was wondering if my product code is getting the belle update or if there is something I may have done that is preventing me from getting the update.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Post in the relevant thread in the Software Updates section, you have a much greater chance of getting a sensible reply there.

I have been waiting for this update for almost a year now and now when it is finally rolled out... it says no update available for my nokia n8..

Now the wierd part... i formatted my phone with the settings-phone management-delete data and restore option........ and then searched for the software update again.... and this time it showed me an phone update available and asked me to connect via USB.... but when the ovi Suite/ Nokia Suite searches for an update.... all it gets is Galaxy and Real Golf.....
I need Symbian Belle and not those games.....

I have just been told by customer support (via 202) that the O2 Belle release date is the 4th of March. Seems a bit strange when other networks have already released it. Anybody else heard anything different?

Welcome to the Nokia Forums!
Operator usually release the update when they feel it's ready to be pushed out to their customers. Therefore different operator's will have different release date for Belle.
So even if your product code states that Belle is available for your device, you potentially will have to wait till your operator to authorise and send this out.

No belle update for my c6-01

symbian belle update is officially released but there s no update available for my nokia c6-01 product code-059c5w6 india.....wht can i do for symbian belle......?

Same problem for me i have been trying since the update is Up..my Nokia C6-01 has the Product Code 059C5W6...till now its saying no updates available...

..my produst code is not even in the list...
whats the use of having a C6-01 which is not upgradable. and also this set is having over heating problem nokia care guys didn't give any rectification for any problems now they are saying they don't have any update for this product code. but in the list given by kerttu its in the swap list and its written that NCC will give update but they are saying no update is available...........

Belle update for 059B656 Solved.

Since I wasn't getting the Belle update I called up Nokia. The executive assured me that we would get an update over this weekend (11/12 Feb. India Time) . The delay is due to some technical issues for RM-596 which are getting fixed.
Though I know that many of us may have a feeling of being left out while others are enjoying the new update I guess its better to wait for a few days and have an update which is free from problems.

I think you were fobbed off by the "executive" because your product code indicates it is a light swap device. Your next course of action is to click on the link below and follow the advice given by Michaels.

Unfortunately Nokia will never give an exact date of a forthcoming update. They never have, and they never will. Software waiting for approval has been submitted to the carrier, and they are waiting for the carrier to test the software and approve the update. This has to be done before the update can be made available to anyone on that network.
It doesn't matter which carrier you're with, the answer is usually the same. You'll get no information from either end, so your only option is just to be patient I'm afraid.
I'm on O2 in the UK and the Belle update is still waiting for approval on that network too. On another note entirely, a lot of the people who have updated to Belle have regretted doing so. Who knows, we actually may be better off without it

The update is currently temporarily available on via FOTA (and not via Nokia Suite). There was a small problem with automatic user data restore with Nokia Suite after the update, which is currently being investigating. If you already updated your device with Nokia Suite, you might have to trigger the userdata restore manually from "tools->restore".

Nokia 53105.81 firm available for red - not blue ?

I'm trying to update my nokia 5310 blue to the 5.81 version, but for the product code I have, 01548679, there's no update available.
Checking in the nokia website, there are updates available for every EURO-C code, but not for the one I have.
Why ? What's this ? Am I black or something ?
