Belle fp2 Music Player no touch Volume?
Is the on screen touch control for volume gone in fp2 music player? Cuz I can't find it anymore

To me this is just fine though, love to controll the volume with the side buttons. So easy.
Well perhaps this is an issue to many people.

Yu can try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. nothing is lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -
Volume problem with Music Player on N95
Hi all,
I am puzzled with a problem I'm having with my N95. The problem appeared after I performed an upgrade on the phone.
The thing is that the right side Volume keys do not work when using the Music player. I know the keys work since the zoom is working on the camera (the same keys). But what is really weird is that if I use the File Manager and open a music file, hence opening the Music player then the Volume keys work fine.
The problem is when I access the Music player either by the Media button on the handset or via the Menu > Music > Music Player.
This is driving me nuts I have tried to update the firmware with the same load without success, I just updated the firmware to the latest version V 30.0.018 hoping that it would be fixed but it didn't
Anyone have the same problem??

I solved the problems on mine. It wasn't easy and is not a straightforward solution. After several attempts everything is ok now. I had to restore the phone to original settings. But also you need to remove all media in the phone. Somehow when the files or links to files are corrupted (often by downloading music via PC suite) this in turns gets the phone in this weird status. It is best to download music files to the phone via a data transfer.
Anyways you need to make sure all music files are deleted and that from within the music player library you cannot see any music file. It must state 0 Music files.
Once you have got rid of this, then I had to load the firmware several times until it worked. I am not sure but it happened to me that there was a new firmware available, but it didn't fix it on it's own. I had to remove the files and re-flash it like 4 times before the issue dissappeared. I know it isn't a step by step guide. But no one else knows what the problem is exactly. I am happy I managed to fix mine (after more than 4 month of trying!!!)

I was under the impression that Belle's music player would come with the ability to sort by artist (i.e. play all songs by a particular artist) rather than locking it to the albums that they've produced.
This is clearly not the case with the C7 Rollout of Belle. What gives? Is this feature going to be added at some point?

On top of that the picture quality of the album covers is now very poor! Same files as in Anna, where quality was good........ -
belle's music player isn't good enough , it always show album 1st when u open the player and i dont think there is a way to change the default setting . i really hope that nokia can make something on it as not everyone will purchase or download the whole album and memorize all albums' name . perhaps nokia should make a setting that users can change to show artist or song 1st .

I hope you guys at Nokia could make the music player as versatile and manageable as the one in N73 Music Edition in the next update. Updating the Nokia Music Player program for PC to be much more manageable like Apple's iTunes would also be great.

The only place I use my Ipod Touch is in my car that has an iPod connection and the steering wheel controls, but I mostly listen to audio books with the audible app. Everytime I get in my car instead of the iPod just picking up where it left off with the audible app it picks up playing whatever was last listened to with the default music player. How can I stop this? Although sometimes it will pick up with the audible app where it stopped when I last used the car (the time I spend with it not playing in the car doesn't seem to make a difference.). Just a little side question is there anyway to get rid of the newstand app, safari, messaging, facetime, gamecenter and all those other app that apple forces upon it's users?
There is nothing yo can do to return to the app you want.
You can't delete the apps that came with the iPod. Except for NewsbStand, you can put the apps you do not want into one folder and move it to the last screen -
PC Windows 7 is now showing iPod Touch (4th Gen) as a digital camera instead of music player
I somehow lost my entire iTunes library on my PC Windows 7 (64 bit) and need to restore it to my PC. When I try to copy the songs from my iPod Touch Version 4.1.2, it shows up as a digital camera device rather than a music player device and only gives photo box to type into. It also does not show up as ipod_control in the ipod drive folders. I followed all instructions but cannot accomplish anything. I also tried to follow instructions provided for the digital camera device to no avail. I have the most recent installed version of iTunes 12 and all my drivers are up to date. Can anyone help me resolve this problem? Thank you so much for your courtesy.
You need a third-party program as discussed here to get non-iTunes purchases from the iPod to a computer.

Hello, so today I realized that my iPhone with iOS 6 is frozen on the music. I can get back to the home screen but I can't get the music player to work because its frozen on the w's and will not respond to touch. I would be grateful for any help on this.

The music player always reverts back to where I started the day before at a low volume and it's driving me mad! On a previous phone with earlier IOS there was the option to play from where the track left off when stopped - how do I find this option now?
If you click on the column headings in iTunes it will sort the tracks by the column you have selected.
Try clicking on the Album column, this should then put the tracks in the right order. You probably have the Track column selected which will keep the tracks in alphabetical order by Track name.

Adding songs to a playlist a PIA. Hopefully ,
someone knows an easier way.
Just recently installed an update pushed for the Music Player. Now has tabs,
but apparently its harder to add a song to a playlist (*already clunky). Used to
be from the "Now Playing" page, you could hit back and the songlist would be
at that songs location. Hold down on the song and add to playlist. No more.
Now you have scroll through the entire list and find the song. Royal pain if
you have 5000 songs.
*You should be able to just press an icon from "Now Playing", to add a song.

Sounds like a problem with metadata in the music files. I recall this happening to me also when upgrading from Symbian Anna to Nokia Belle. The way the metadata of music files is handled differently in Nokia Belle and Nokia Belle Refresh, therefore you will need to locate the offending files and use an advanced ID3 / metadata tag editor on your PC to edit the metadata tag information so it will display correctly on your device. -

Three days ago i updated the software of my ipod to the version (iOS 5.1.1) and after that I noticed that the music player started to fail.
When I'm listening to any song it stops playing without any reason or when the ipod is on sleep mode the music starts to play. Push the orange music button and the player opens, but when I push the play button nothing happens other than the pause icon comes up.
Both side volume and the onscreen volume read at full.-restore ipod to latest ios if problems still happenes then it's a hardware problem nothing like a good old appointment at genuis bar would help.
