Benefits Confirmation statement

Hello -
Is there a way to have 2 Benefit confirmation letters active and available in SAP at one time? Possibly one for active employee's and a separate one for retired employee's who still receive benefits from the company?

There is WebDynpro Java application
sap.com/ess~ben/BenefitsApplication which is used for this.. you can get your changes done in same application.
To make any change in this application you need to have NWDI configuration in place.. if you need help on NWDI setup please let me know.

Please check in your visual administrator to see whether you have <u>properly installed</u> the credential file for Reader Rights . Do this as described in "Installing and Configuring Credentials" in the Adobe Document Services Configuration Guide and note 736902.

Please check in your visual administrator to see whether you have <u>properly installed</u> the credential file for Reader Rights . Do this as described in "Installing and Configuring Credentials" in the Adobe Document Services Configuration Guide and note 736902.

Ess Benefits Confirmation Statement

I am on NW04s ECC6.0 and trying to display Benefits Confirmation statement in ESS and also the Open Enrollment Benefits Confirmation statement ...and have certain questions regarding it
1) Are these Adobe or Smart Forms in the backend ?
2) Which is the ESS Application pointing to these forms.?
3) How can we make changes to these statements like changing text ,removinf fields etc.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

ESS 1.41 Benefits Confirmation Form

We are implementing ESS 1.41 on ECC 6 Ehp4.
When Open Enrollment is on the Completed Screen (Step 3) there are four links and The HR Team Lead wants the link 'Print New Plan Selections' changed to 'Print Confirmation Statement'
What do you want to do next?
Go to Benefits Participation Overview
Go to Benefits and Payment Homepage
Go to Employee Self-Services Homepage
Print New Plan Selections
Is there a simple way to make this change?
Change via iView personalization - how to you find the parameter for the iview?
Change via IMG - What is the Link Key
Or is there some other way?

I have reviewed this note but do not understand how this applies to our problem which is:
Need to change the link text for the 'Print New Plan Selections' link which appears on the Open Enrollment Completed Screen
When I go to IMG - ESS - Homepage for Self-Services - Services - Define links on confirmation page there is no entry for the 'Print New Plan Selections' to change the text. Even though this link shows up on the final page for Open Enrollment.

Error on OAB Confirmation Statement

I am hoping someone can help me with this error. When an employee makes their benefit elections in OAB, the confirmation page is displaying their total bi-weekly pre-tax deduction with trailing cents.
For example: $20.73 would appear as $20.734000
Do you know of any patches to help correct this error? Any help would be appreciated.

Did anyone else receive a text message from Verizon stating you need to confirm your order?

Received a message stating that you need to text YES to confirm or NO to cancel. It displayed my order number and everything, so I happily replied YES. What's weird though is that my confirmation states to "Deliver by 9/19" but the Order Status pages states "Ship by 10/14". o.O
I am confuzzled because my pre-order was completed before 3:10 AM and it coincided with what the confirmation email said. Now my only remaining question is which date is right?

That is so bogus! Are you telling me I stayed up to pre-order so I can receive it on the 19th for nothing? Regardless of what y'all needed to verify, a phone should have been placed on the side awaiting confirmation granted that I put in a pre-order early. On top of that, there is no way I should have been pushed back all the bloody way til October, thereby voiding any of my trade-in chances.
You know what's funny though, I got that stupid 10/14 date BEFORE I was sent the text message asking for verification, and a charge was already placed on my card (well more like a placeholder). Also of note, both my checkout page and confirmation email state 9/19. If you lot weren't planning on getting the phones out on Friday, why post such? If I had originally seen a 10/14 date it would've been fine and dandy, but to see one thing and told that what you see does not matter is just ridiculous! To top it all off, y'all are shipping the lower capacity phones already but those of us who want the maximum are being put through the ringer for no reason.
This is unacceptable.

Do you use websites and do you have a backup scheduled for them? If so, these databases are created temporarily for creating transactional safe backups.
You can find info about this e.g. on
http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/web-sites-backup/ (there is a note which you can search for saying "If you choose to include one or more databases in the backup and have specified a Frequency of less than 7 days, you will be
warned that frequent backups can increase your database costs.")
It might be also just a result of an automated SQL Import/Export.

Open Enrollment Confirmation eMails

Want to see if anyone has done the following..,
Under Open Enrollment, after plan review and after SAVEing, the user has the option to Print New Plan Selection. This has the effect of displaying a .pdf file to the screen with the users elections.
I would like for that .pdf to be automatically generated and e-mailed to the person after a save. (regardless of whether or not they had pressed Print New Plan Selection.
Before I start enhancing, I thought Id check to see if anyone had already done this, and if so, where the touch points were.

We're running :
NW 2004S, ESS 1.0 SP09 Web DynPro Version
with ECC 6.0 ERP2005 on the R/3 side

Have not done it, but it's very possible...especially if you want to clog up your network with unread emails including PDF attachments. haha (one thing to keep in mind is security concerns around sending this type of info in emails...and make sure the generated PDFs are cleared from the servers cache/temp files for the same reasons)
That "Print Confirmation" basically just goes out and pulls the configured Benefits Confirmation form. Beforer they "re-added" the feature back to the Benefits Overview service, I had to write a separate custom BSP app to allow the employee to print this at anytime. It was VERY easy.
I first called.....

You could do the same but after generating the PDF attach it to an email. There are TONS of examples out on this forum for doing this.

Problem with regrouping data in BI Publisher

I have tried all that has been suggested in Oracle documentation but still can't get my report to work.
I am working on our Benefits Confirmations and Summary report. I am getting the records as I need them except that I am getting only the number of records right. The dependent names and beneficiary names are always only the first record in the data file!
I have included the tree structure below that we have in the file. From the layout below, I need to retrieve the data element "A" and few elements from group "i".
i have used for-each-group for getting the data in A and for-each-group:current_group();./B/i

check for the SECURITY_MODEL in the file xmlp-server-config.xml under Configuration Folder (Repository). I will have to check the exact term but I think its value should be LDAP. I think the SSO is working fine, just that its not able to connect to LDAP. Check if there is any error in the console / log file. I have not checked each step of the document that you referred to, but please verify the steps for LDAP integration from the user guide.
