Benefits - How to change work area?

Hello!
I'm opening an IMG path for benefits. I currently have 2 benefit areas defined in the system (1 is newly created).
The thing is, everytime I click on a subpath, e.g. Define First Program Grouping or Define Second Program Grouping under IMG: PM -> Benefits -> Flexible Admins -> Programs, it always show this message "You are currently working in benefit area XX".
My question is: How to change the work area to another Benefit Area?

Problem solved.
Seems like it is reading from memory.
So i just go to some other view where I can select a Benefit Area upon working on it.
So when I go back to the path that I want to work on, now the work area is under the Benefit Area that I want .

Changing Work Area

Hi ,
I am new to JAVAFX, just going through the documents and samples provided in the site.
Example "IssueTrackingLite" has a single FXML file, based on the selection in the list view(Project1,Project2..) work area content changes.
But if I had a requirement like different project selection should show different layout then how could it be achieved?
Is it possible to create different FXML and based on the project selection can embed that in the content area?

I have created a very template which has AnchorPane,1 SplitPane, 2 text boxes.

I observed few behaviours for which I couldn't figure it out the reason.
In Designer, left Text Box properties "Layout X","Layout Y" are disabled where as right Text Box Layout X,Y are enabled.
If I preview screen in "preview Windows" and try to resize the window then left box is resizing proportionally where as right one is statically located at the same place.
Could you please tell why it is behaving differently?

How to crop work area?

I have a Flash animation that has objects that bleed over the
work area. If I view the SWF alone - outside of HTML - I can expand
it, and it shows the objects outside the 800x600 area of my SWF.
How do I "crop" it?

draw it in different color, otherwise it will merge and if
you delete it will take
the whole thing out.
also good the de-select - hit the ESC button once you done
drawing than delete it.
Take note, make sure your object drawing option is not set ON
otherwise all shape
you draw will be Grouped by default and you can't cut hole in
it unless you double
click it.
To alternately change Object Drawing on and off, use the J
key while using any of the
drawing tools. Hit J draw something, hit J again and draw one
more, see the difference.

How to change Functional area in cost center master

Dear Guru,
As required, i have to change the Functional area in cost center master data.
SAP Warning Message :
Transaction data exists; note long text
Note
A change of the functional area can lead to inconsistencies when reversing documents.
If documents are reversed after the functional area has been changed, in some cases,
the reversal document may be posted with the new functional area.
My question is how to change the new functional area to the old one after reversing documents.
We aren't using Special Purpose Ledger . Please Help me, thanks.

For the transactions already posted you will not be able to change the Functional Area. Also if those documents are getting reversed now after the change, the reversal document will get posted to the new Functional Area only.
For all those documents which gets reversed after the change, you need to pass FI journal entry by changing the Functional area in the journal entry and not in the Cost Center Master

CRM 5.2 - Change Work Area Title

Hi Experts,
I wish to change the work area title in the webUI. LIke in search of campaigns, the title comes as "Search: Campaign". I wish to change this to client specific words. In view configuration (BSP_WD_CMPWB), changing this is not available as a possiblity.

Hi,
To change the Work Area Title you may have to go to the transaction 'SOTR_EDIT'.
Actually the Title description text is got from the 'GET_STATE_DESCRIPTION' method of the UI Component used.
In this method the OTR(Text repository) might have been used to display the title. Hence, Kindly select the OTR object and use the transaction OTR_EDIT to edit to the required text.

How to merge work areas of same internal table

I have a requirement to merge two work areas into 3rd work area where all 3 belonging to same internal table like example below.
        person | activity | location |
wa1: 001     |    A       |              |

after merging the value in wa3 should be as follows:
         person | activity | location |
wa3: 001      |    A       | xyz       |
I am looking for a ABAP command or FM to perform this task. Please help me on the same.

Try this:
Field-symbols: <lfs_wa1> type line of lit1,
                 <lfs_wa2> type line of lit2.
sort lit2 by field1 ascending.
loop at lit1 assigning <lfs_wa1>.
    read table lit2 with key field1 = <lfs_wa1>-field1 assigning <lfs_wa2> binary search.
    clear wa3.
    wa3-field1 = <lfs_wa2>-field1.
    wa3-field2 = <lfs_wa2>-field2.
    wa3-field3 = <lfs_wa2>-field3.
    append wa3 to lit3.
endloop.
Use sorted internal tables, field symbols and binary search for better performance. In case when different fields in both work areas may be populated for each row, you need to implement some check and move logic inside loop instead of simple value assignment. I assume that the key value is always there for both tables you want to merge.

How to change the area of cells used as pie chart legend?

In Numbers '13 I cannot drag the legend area separately (as I could do in Number '09). The same on iPad.
Did I miss something?

The line "chtChart.SeriesCollection.NewSeries" does nothing.
After legend entries have been deleted, the only way to restore them is to remove and recreate the legend that contained them by setting the HasLegend property for the chart to False and then back to True...
chtChart.HasLegend = False
chtChart.HasLegend = True
(the font in the new legend may need adusting)
It has been a very long time since I have created charts with VBA.
My Excel help file says to change the values used by a Chart Series you have to specify a range or provide an array of values (not both)
So this seems to work...

How to change work schema ?

Hi,
Source : MS SQL database
Target : Oracle
I am loading the data from source table 'src_table' to target table 'trg_table'. I have created an interface for that. Currently ODI creating temporary tables like
$E_xyz(error)
$J_abc(Journalisam)
$C_abcd(check)
etc..
in my source schema (In MS SQL).
Can anybody let me know how I can store these temporary table in other schema ? What are the steps for that ?
How can I handle this things in production ?

In topology ---> MS SQL database ----> physical schema ----> data schema ---> point it to your source schema .
work schema ---> point it to some other schema which resides in your MS SQL database

You can use the FM 'STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN' for updating the user status. and 'STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN for updating the system status.

How to change work repository internal ID

Is it possible to change the ID of existing work repository. Or a new work repository has to be created to get a new different ID.

About Master repo : - between 2 env. you must have exact ID and version of all master repo objects.
About work rep : When you create a new repository via TOPOLOGY you can set your own ID (ex :7).
->assume you have an old version of rep ID=5.
->assume you ll create a new one (yours) ID=7
Then you can import :
- with insert method to put old MODEL you want to keep some dev (MODEL, version will end with...5)
- with duplicate metod if not : to use a old MODEL version but update the (version will end with ...7)
Therefore, it's possible to :
- to push (update) devlpt from old w repo (5) to be updated from the old to the new one (cause the version is ...5) by INSERT_UPDATE
- to push (update) devlpt from new w repo (7) to be updated from the old to the old one (cause the version is ...7) by INSERT_UPDATE
- to maintain a MODEL change form one Master and impact to the other
- NOT to Merge one change on a model and another change on the same model (other work repo)

How to change business area on posted FI documents

Hi Friends,
There are documents got posted with a incorrect business area.
Background:
The issue is in one company code XXX, plant XXXX a non-sap location.
Users follow a separate process and generate a file and place on Unix.
There is a batch job that picks this file from the unix and post the documents in SAP (f-43 transaction).
There are some vendor invoice documents (Doc type KR), posted with the business area 5000 in this company code XXX. BUT
The actual business area to be posted is 5300.
This problem is happening only from Oct mid as per the user
Requirement:
Requirement is , we want to change the business area from u20185000 to u201C5300u201D on all the posted documents.
ALSO is there any program to change the business arae on all the posted FI documents.

Dear all,
no there is neither a transaction nor a report to change an already posted Business area.
Due to data consistency even if You insert the field GSBER into TBAER, You cannot change the BA value.
The only thing You can do is to reverse the document and to post it again with the correct BA.
I'm sorry but this is the sap standard System design.
