Beside Integration Kit, what other tools or methods can I connect BO to BW?

Dear Experts,
Apart from Integration Kit, what are the other SAP tool(s) or method(s) can I use to connect BusinessObjects XI rel 3.1 sp3 to Netweaver BW rel 7.01 ? Are these tool(s) or method(s) proven to be more effective than using the Integration Kit?
Please let me know.

Try to evaluate what option of BEx queries called "Allow external Access to this query".
But I would prefer standard SAP approach which is via integration kit.... What is background that you thinking about sth else?

I'm trying to clean up extra iPhoto positions. What other folders and files can I eliminate?

I have too much redundancy. iPhoto Libraries have been started over the last couple of years without much thought to structure. If I identify and remove the picture files in "Originals" and "Modifieds" (identified by using "Show Package Contents") and move them to secure locations (designated folders on another drive) what other files can I eliminate? Inside of "Show Package Contents" I see folders for Data.noindex, Library.iphoto, Contents, and Metadata Backup? Other files show as well. Can these be eliminated or do they contain critical picture files? I'm working with iPhoto Manager to identify and manage libararies.

Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things,, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
I don't know anyway to make things clearer.

TS1717 i recently downloaded two tracks from itunes: they will not play in my windows media center even though i have added them to that location. any idea what other trouble shooting i can attempt on this issue??

I'm searching for an answer to almost the same exact problem, using almost the same exact hardware and software. Has an answer been found?
The files that I'm trying to burn come from eMusic, and they are formatted mp3. Recently, (after the iTunes update to 9.2.3?,) they would not drag and drop from iTunes into Toast. From several different discussions I've tried working around this by dragging to the desktop first then dragging and dropping to Toast, going to Toast from a programmer's homemade help window, " iToons," and today, after talking with Apple support, going directly to Toast from my eMusic folder. Alas, all recordings do not perform like they use to. Sometimes they play and sometimes not. There is one I managed, that is listenable, but sometimes I have to put it in my car stereo over and over again as it gets ejected with an error code, sometimes, finally it takes it... Some of the recordings on other disks I've burned are not clean - they have white-noise sounds creeping in... I use to have none of these problems. One time as I was listening to a CD that managed to play, and it just stopped playing... Is there an answer out there to get back to how it use to be? Thanks for you help.

.Mac works fine, other e-mails account can't connect

Since I install my Airport Express I can't receive e-mails from my domain accounts. Internet works fine, Mac accounts have no issue and my host told me that everything work fine for him. Indeed I can access my Webmail page.
This happen with all the computers and all the accounts of my domain account.
Any clues?

i had a phantom cox pop3 outlook express email account that worked both sending/receiving.
this is what i did.
changed the password into outlook on a pc, which threw an error message on the phone that allowed me to get into email settings & delete, then recreate the account.
what app are you using unless you meant the email icon?
in the future, just stop the etching (set to manual) & the account won't be disabled.

What type of IEPE accelerometers can I connect to NI 9234?

Hello.
I have a compactDAQ with NI 9234 to connect accelerometers. I want to perform some vibration measurements using it together the accelerometer in attachment (101.51-6D-2-M6).
Will the acceleromter work properly with NI 9234? Do I have restrictions about IEPE acceleromters for NI 9234?

Yea, you are rigth about the current, didn't take the time to look closer at the sensor spec.
The 9234 will provide 19V @ 2mA but that is no problem, since the AC input range is (only) +-5V , so there is enough headroom unless your sensor will provide more than about 5V amplitude.

HT204387 My iphone and ipad can see each other on bluetooth but can't connect

When I touch to connect, I get an error that reads 'make sure the iphone is turned on and in range". I can see the bluetooth connection on both devices, they just won't connect. I have turned off wifi on both devices. I have also tried connecting to & from both devices.

I downloaded an app that can share a presentation loaded on one device with up to 15 other iOS devices. It said it would work over bluetooth. I didn't realize you couldn't "pair" the devices but still use bluetooth. The developer said just to turn them both on and low and behold, it works like a charm and I feel silly.

Default language settings in SAP Integration Kit?

I've the following problem:
If I create a report with the SAP Integration Kit (create new report from a query) I get a prompt where I can type in (System Number, User, Password and LANGUAGE). If I now choose as language u201CEnglishu201D and create a report, save it and open it in crystal again, everything is still fine. But if I go to refresh the report, I get a prompt where I can choose the SAP BW and type in the System Number, User and Password but not the LANGUAGE. After the refresh the names of the fields are still in English but the data is now in German (or just the technical names, depends on the language settings in the query).
For me it looks like that the language settings of the refresh are by default in crystal is set to German, but the software is English. I didnu2019t find any way to change the default language to English or save it in the report.
I already tried to change the language/regional/keyboard settings of my machine and also tried to change the language in the crystal formula field u201Clanguagecode%u201D.
But even if I could have a unique change in some system settings, it really will not help me, because I have some queries in German and some in English, depending on the actual BW system.
If the SAP Integration Kit gives me the possibility to choose the language during the creation of the report it should then remember the choice!?

Integration Kit for SAP BO Edge 3.1

Hi all,
We have successfully installed SAP BO Edge3.1,Crystal Reports 2008 and Xcelsius Engage (all these came as a package for Edge Installation).
Some suggested that for BO Edge 3.1 we need to have SAP BO Integration Kit XI R2.But we are facing some problems while installing the Integration Kit XI R2.
Please suggest- is there any separate Integration Kit for Edge Series or we can install the Integration Kit of Enterprise itself?
If so please give the path from where we can download it

gateway host
gateway service
Can anyone please let me know where can I get the program id and gateway host and service

BO Integration kit with SAP Nothing happens after I click authentication

I have installed BO integration kit for 3.0 and i can see SAP in authentication however when i click nothing happens. I have checked if designer can connect into SAP if i give the authentication details manually and it does return data from SAP BI.
Am i missing something here.

How can I go in other tools in tool box.

When I start my Illust CC, I can only click the tools in the tool box which are shown. I can not wright click my mose and reach other tools. How can I solve this problem ?

What do I need to install Integration Kit for SharePoint Server 2007

What do I need to install the Integration Kit for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007? It gives me an SP3 needed error but does not tell me what SP3. Has any one sucessfully installed this kit? Please help.

Hi,
The sharepoint PIK is available for BO enterprise only. SP3 is refering to BO enterprise XIR2 SP3. This Service Pack is not available for CR 2008. In order to integrate CR 2008 in BO enterprise XIR3 you need to install SP0 on top of CR 2008. But as I said above without BO enterprise you won't be able to use the PIK.
I copied the following system requirements from our Install Guide for BOE XiR3 PIK:
System requirements
For a list of system requirements, consult the Platforms.txt file included
with your product distribution. For additional important information that may
pertain to your deployment, it is also strongly recommended that you consult
the Release Notes included with your product distribution.
In general, the following components must be installed and configured
correctly before you install the BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.0 Portal
Integration Kit:
u2022 Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services or Office SharePoint Portal
Server 2003.
u2022 BusinessObjects Enterprise XI .NET SDK (on your SharePoint machine
or machines).
u2022 Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (any edition).
u2022 BusinessObjects Enterprise and Crystal Reports (on either the same
machine and/or on a different machine).
