Bespoke content node attributes not showing in UI config

Hi guys,
I'm trying to add some fields into a view via UI configuration...
Below are the steps that I have taken
1) In component BT116H_SRVO view BT116H_SRVO/Details I have added a bespoke context node of type BTCustomerH
2) I did this via the wizard, right click and create...
3) Defined the dependancy to higher node BTAdminH with relationship BTHeaderCustExt
4) Everything was created successfully and the new ctxt node showed
Problem is when I tried to set the fields on the UI config, I cannot seem to see the context node that I have created...
Anyone have any idea why this is so?
I am currently using CRM 7.0. The above steps works fine when used in CRM 2007 tho

Matt,
Did you check if this setting is on in SPRO.
Customer Relationship Management->UI Framework->UI Framework Definition->Design Layer->Deactivate Hiding of Fields.

3rd generation nano entire contents of ipod not showing up, itunes says to restore, however I am pretty certain this erases all contents. Is there anyway to retrieve the seemingly lost content, what do I do? I have had little to no prior issues with this product and have not recently updated my itunes. Please help!

    Hey there,
A file or some files may have become corrupt somehow during connecting or disconnecting the unit. Try putting it into Disk Mode and see if that helps. To put it into Disk Mode, hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears. When it does, immediately press and hold the Center an Play/Pause buttons until you see a confirmation that your iPod has been put into Disk Mode.
If you are able to do this, it may be a good idea to restore the iPod to its original settings. Keep in mind that by doing this you are erasing all the music and files from your iPod so make sure they are backed up on your computer somewhere. More on restoring your iPod can be found in the Apple document below.
    Hope this helps.

  • Updated attribute not showing up in the Front End

    Hi,
I have to update an attribute column based on some conditions.
Even though I have updated, the updated value is not showing up in the front end
Moreover if I go to Diagnostics-> Examine and then query the attribute value I can see the updated Result
    What can be the reason...
    Please Advise

Sounds like the Statement is not committed. Maybe you should add a
    COMMIT;
at the end of your query.

  • Content repository is not showing the recently added content on jspx page .

    Hi All,
I have uploaded some doc on UCM using check_in web service call.
I see all my content are uploaded successfully but recent uploaded contents are not reflecting on my page .
Even i set partial trigger but its showing it .
I printed the content using GET_SEARCH_RESULTS service but still its showing old content .
If i logged out from current session and logged in again i am able to see those changes .
    Please provide your i/p.
    Thanks,
    Arun.

It does not get refreshed, even if you fill up the table with the values from the call to the get_search_results?
I thought it was an issue because we uploaded documents outside of the knowledge of the data control...
But if you don't use the DC to display the data and use a call to the get_search_results and that also does not show the data... than their must be something else...
Perhaps you can ask this in the enterprise content management forum. Their are more experts on this. Maybe they know what the issue is. I will look into it if i have a bit more time but for now i have other stuff to do...

  • Drop 11 Content Bundler - iPad not showing updates ?

    Using drop11 tools.
The content bundler works fine, and seems to upload the updated files.
The iPad app does not show any updates.
    Any thoughts? Thanks.

The webpage you give as an example is very slow to load, possibly due to the animated ads and the top banner that can't make its mind up when to appear. It loads clumsily in Safari on my computer and Safari on my iPad so I'm not surprised it has trouble in the in-app browser.
It loads much faster once I've refreshed it a few times, in order to get it cached. But the first load is the deepest.

  • Alternatives to "Hiearchy node does not show total of nodes & leaves"

    Greetings,
I am having a problem with a query I created and am looking for suggestions on how to get around my problem.  The problem is a classic one that I have seen numerous times on various discussion boards.
    InfoCube Definition
    Dimensions
       Material (M)
       Value Type (V)
    Key Figures
       Quantity (Q)
       Amount   (A)
    Restricted KF
       Actual Quantity (AQ)      {Q where V = 'A'}
       Actual Amount (AA)        {A where V = 'A'}
       Planned Quantity (PQ)     {Q where V = 'P'}
       Planned Amount (PA)       {A where V = 'P'}
    Calculated KF
Planned Cost (PC) = PA / PQ
Planned Value (PV) = PC * AQ
    The Problem
The query I wrote is reporting on Material using a hierarchy that was defined.  The problem, that's a classic, is that the lower nodes of the hierarchy do not roll up to the upper node for the Planned Value (PV).
       Example:
    ____________AQ____AA____PV____PQ____PA____PC
       Level 1_______30___$50___$ 9___200___$60___.30
       __Level 2.1___10___$20___$ 1___100___$10___.10
       __Level 2.2___20___$30___$10___100___$50___.50
In the above example, the value for PV at Level 1 should be $11 (which is the sum of the lower nodes) and not $9 (which is the result of the calculation being performed on the Level 1 row).
    Alternatives Explored
I have explored the following alternatives in order to provide a solution to this problem:
    - Aggregation problems with hierarchies is documented in SAP Note 789404.
    - I tried creating the CKF as a formula in the query and setting the "Calculate Result As" option to "Summation" but hierarchy nodes are not the same as result rows.
    - I attempted to set the "Time of Aggregation" option in the CKF to "Before Aggregation" but because of how we are modeled I need to use a RKF in the calculation.  Because of this the CKF formula is regarded as complex and therefore I do not have the option to adjust this parameter.  (See Re: Incorrect Results Row)
    - My last attempt was to investigate the use of Virtual Key Figures.  From what I have seen, this will not provide me with the solution I need either.  (See Virtual Characterstics and Key Figures)
    Question
Short of changing my data model and/or calculating and storing the result in the cube, is there any other solution to my problem?
Your feedback, great or small, is much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Brian

I believe that the answer is that in implementing privilege levels Cisco designed the show run command so that if you do not have capability to change something that it will not show up in the show run. I believe the logic is that from a security standpoint if you are not authorized to change it you should not be able to see it in the config. So in your case if user1 is not able to change anything then they will not be able to see anything in show run.

  • MDM attributes not showing in UWL

    Hello Experts,
I am using MDM5.5 SP06. I want to integrate MDM Workflow with UWL in portal. For that I followed this link
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/771f1a61-0e01-0010-daa9-93a52905da09
I did all steps in the document. Still I am able to see the MDM tasks in UWL. And also, MDM attributes like mdmStatus, stepId, stepName, jobId, userNames, workflowTable are not available in Personalization.
To get MDM attributes and MDM tasks what are the steps I need to Do?.
PS: I am able to see the task in MDM Workflow.
    Thanks,

    Hi Jitesh,
I have done already. I have given main table as 'Business Partners'.

    2. Any config file changes need to do for this?. I am NOT able to see MDM tasks in UWL.
Here I am pasting my config xml file.

  • BI Hierachy node values not showing up in WebI LOV

    Hi Experts,
We are on BI 7.0 Ehp1 and BOBJ ENTERPRISE XI 3.1.
We have a Bex query with Hierarchy and Hierarchy node variable.
In the Webi Query LOV only the Hierachies show up but not the values for nodes.
Since these are not mandatory vairables the WeBI query runs fine and fetches the required data.
The variables are in the Filter section of the Bex query and the refrence characteristic on which the hierarchy variable is based  is NOT in the free characteristic and the rows.
There are 5 hierachies in BI with about 5300 nodes.
Any help or leads will be highly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Satyen

    Hi Ingo,
As always appreciate your response. Yes, both the variables (Hierarchy and hierarchy node variable) are part of the universe.
When I hit refresh on the LOV screen for the node values  <No Values> is returned.
These values show up properly on the Bex side.
    Thanks!

  • Attributes not showing up in POV

In the process of developing some financial reports, it looks like I hosed the display of attributes on my admin account somehow.
    The scenario is as follows:
On several reports I have attributes setup in the POV, when I originally developed the reports they showed fine, but for some reason they are not there any more. I'm lead to believe that something with the account I'm using was changed, as when I log in with a test account, provisioned as a regular user, I'm able to see the attributes listed in the POV.
I've tried changing the available settings in workspace and have not found any settings in the desktop client that would affect this.
We're running workspace version 9.3.1.0.0.248 and financial reporting 9.3.1.325
Any help or guidance is appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello Hari,
Currently, the only attributes that you have access to in Publisher are the attributes linked to the taxonomy that you've designated to be your family field (in the console), which by default, is your main taxonomy table.
The only way to display fields linked to non-main tables is by designating them alternate display fields, which in your case doesn't sound like what you want.

  • Portal Content folder does not show in Content Administration

    Hi,
We are using EP6 SP13 in a cluster environment. After 2 weeks of working fine, suddenly the Portal Content shows "Loading..." and does not display the "Portal Content" folder...
The formed URL for this service is http://qaclient.company.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.appdesigner.framework.loading?loadingstr=loading...&scroll=no&contenturl=/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fadministrator!2fsuper_admin!2fsuper_admin_role!2fcom.sap.portal.content_administration!2fcom.sap.portal.content_admin_ws!2fcom.sap.portal.portal_content!2fcom.sap.portal.contentCatalogTreeContent
We have tried to restart this service though the portal "Support" tab... but that has not helped either...
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

  • Content management portlet not showing images

    Hi all,
sorry for asking a question maybe already answered, but I couldn't find a solution in the newsgroups.
I'm trying to use the content management portlet provided with Bea WLP 8.1 SP4, but I've a problem with the images (they're not displayed at all, only a lot of red "X"s).
I followed the instructions in the help of workshop, so I think I've imported every needed files. Moreover, the images are in the right folder tree.
Any help for a completely newbie???
    Thx in advance,
    Mirko.

    Hi Mirko,
I was having that same problem, and I couldn't find anything on this website either. I tried creating a new portal project and following the directions exactly again, but it didn't work there either. It works in the sample portal.
So I contacted BEA Support, and they were able to provide me with a solution:
The file url-template-config.xml (in the WEB-INF directory) has to be modified and have the {url:currentPage} parameter removed in order to get the images working for the content management portlet. For now, do this only in the section . Leave the other places like in WSRP etc as it is.
I actually took it out of the WSRP places too, by accident, but I don't use WSRP anyway, and everything else seems to be working fine. And the images show up!
Hope this works for you too,
    Beth

  • ALV Tree, Expanded node do not show data in certain column

    Hi all,
I need your help regard to below problem.
I have an ALV grid in which one of the columns has F4 (search help). If search help is called by pressing a F4 button a dialog box will be shown with ALV tree on it.
The ALV Tree has 2 columns which are: hierarchy column and one other column called WBS column. At the first show, all expanded node show data contained in WBS column, but if I click to expand a collapsed node, data is not shown in WBS column for the new expanded rows, only shows data in hierarchy column. How to show data in WBS column for the new expanded rows..?
Basically if at the first show I expand all node, data in WBS column are shown for all rows. It seems that the Expand Node event doesn't update all column data to be shown.
Please share if anyone of you has faced this kind of problem. Thank you.

Edited by: Ramses Hutahaean on Feb 29, 2012 1:38 PM

    Hi Fenja,
as the click-events only raise the node_key (at least I couldn't detect another information), I assume the only way is maintaining an internal helper table by yourself which you build up in parallel when creating the tree and its nodes.
The (hashed) table might contain 2 columns:
    1. node_key (as table key)
    2. reference to an object
When a click-event is raised, you look up the corresponding object reference in your table.

    Ulrich

  • Master Data Attributes not showing in InfoCube

    Hi Experts,
I'm a little lost here. I have loaded the master data  for a field ZPARTY(data coming from  3 non-SAP sources S1, S2 and S3) with all its attributes. I have actovated it and I see it as well in the BEx.
Now I have loaded related Transaction data and and I have ZPARTY in that InfoCube as well. Now I can see the attibutes showing up in InfoCube from S1 and S2 but not from S3.
I have deleted the data and reloaded it as well. I made sure that the SIDS get generated as well and I can see SIDs as well but I do not see the data from S1 for the master data attributes.

    Hi,
You can check the following things,
    1) In the infoobject maintainance screen on the attributes tab, just check that attributes coming from S3 are marked as Navigation attributes.
    2) Check whether they are time dependent or independent attributes.
    3) Once you load all the data check it in master data view of ZPARTY infoobject and make sure that all the data is active.
    4) If you are not able to see the data loaded then check the underlying mappings of infoobject from S3 to ZPARTY in transformation or transfer rule.
    5) Finally in infocube check that you have marked all the navigation attributes available for reporting.
    Regards,
    Durgesh.
