Best case for 3GS that wont scratch the phone (metal lining)

I've had the silicon cases before and they would always cause scratches on the metal part of the phone which was always annoying (most likely due to debris rubbing against it when the silicon case moved around). I was looking at the Incase Slider and it seemed that this would be a good case. Anyone have any issues with this case or can recommend a good case for it?

Just finished applying the Zagg Invisible Shield to my new iPhone 3GS and it's fantastic! Elegant and durable while retaining the sexy form factor of the phone itself.
It has been mentioned that it looks overwhelming to apply. I can't stress enough watching the videos on the site a few times to 'run through the motions.' It's imperative that you are in a dust free environment, work with a lint-free cloth, clean your hands really well and keep your fingertips and the adhesive film wet at all times.
What it lacks in speed of application, it more than makes up for in protection with no added bulk.
Just my two cents.

  • Is there a case for iPad that will allow the leather cover to stay on for uk

    I bought the iPad Retina display 16gb for a neighbour and added a leather cover  for it. I had already bought her husband an iPad in November and bought the Smart case polyurethane. I mistakenly thought the leather cover was just the same as a case, but of course it's only the front that is protected.
    Does anybody know of a good UK case/wallet type case that she can use with the cover attached, so that when's shes travellimng the whole unit is protected.
    It must of course be thick enough to accommodate the iPad and leather front cover.
    Can anyone help pleae?

    Help. Same issue.

    you might want to check out

    they have really protective cases and they just came out with some armband thingys

  • Best case for ipad mini and Logitech wireless keyboard that opens like a book?

    What is a good case that holds both of these that opens like a book? In other words it is not a sleeve, it poems with ipad mini on one side and my Bluetooth keyboard on the other????

    There's likely no "best case" for any device. What works great for some will be detested by others. I can only tell you what I personally use and how it works. My own personal iPads (my wife and my 8 year old son have their own iPads with differing case needs) are pretty much relegated to indoor use. My mini 2 uses the standard-issue Apple Smart Cover. The back is protected (mainly from scratching & dings) by a clear plastic (polycarbonate) shell (purchased at Best Buy, Rocketfish brand) that is Smart Cover compatible (has the proper cutout for the Smart Cover hinge to contact the device properly). This combination works very well for me personally because there are many times when I do not want the Smart Cover on the device, flopping around & in my way...it's easily pulled off of the device when I need it off while the back shell stays on. You can't do that with the Smart Case. This works well enough for me on the mini 2 so I'm adopting the same for my Air 2.

  • What are some of the best cases for iPhone 5c?

    What are some of the best clear cases for the iPhone 5c that can protect the phone well?

    I was wondering the same thing?  I have a hard time with buying a case, because I bought the phone because of the color it already is!  lol
    I was thinking about going with something like the Spigen Case Bumper.  Still allows you to see the color of the phone and still have protection.

  • Best case for iPad mini 3

  • What are the best settings for ripping cd's in the AAC format?

    I have researched and found out that the AAC format rules over the MP3 format as fas as sound quality goes with lossy formats. Example: AAC at 128 is better than MP3 at 160 as so forth. My questions are: What are the best settings for ripping cd's in the AAC format? Will I be able to burn cd mixes with the tracks I import into itunes after importing using the AAC format? Does the AAC format have VBR like the MP3 format? Is there other ripping software such as dbPoweramp and Exact Audio Copy that does a better job ripping cd's in the AAC format? Please help!

    It is a matter of opinion, but I suggest 256 kb/s, CBR, and leave all other settings on automatic.
    Will I be able to burn cd mixes with the tracks I import into itunes after importing using the AAC format?
    Yes. Just put them in a playlist and burn.
    Does the AAC format have VBR like the MP3 format?
    Yes. You will see it as an option in the Import Settings.

    EAC does a better job of correcting errors in damaged CDs, but for normal CDs iTunes does a fine job of ripping to AAC.

  • Best practice for putting binary data on the NMR

    Hi,
    We're creating a component that will consume messages off the NMR, encode them, and subsequently put them back on the NMR. What's the best practice for sending binary data over the NMR?
    1. setContent()?
    2. addAttachment()?
    3. setProperty()?
    If NormailzedMessage.setContent() is the desired approach, then how can you accomplish that?
    Thanks,
    Bruce

    setContent() is used only for XML messages. The recommended way to accommodate binary data is to use addAttachment().

  • Best case for Z3C?

    I ordered a sillicon case from eBay. cost me 6 Euros.
    Got something that looks and feels VERY cheap, barely fits propperly, and I doubt could give any actual protection against anything. Possibly some amateur made it...
    If anyone has a specific type or model of case to recommend, please comment here!
    (My preference is sillicon, or that type which im not sure what they call... Like two types of material, soft and hard together. I've seen them for iPhones...)
    THANKS!!!!

    I am very satisfied with the "miniGel" case from Muvit. It fits very well and gives a firm grip. I like this phone and its design very much, but was afraid that it could slip out of my hand sometime, or could be damaged when I put it down somewhere on a rough surface. With this case that risk has gone, and I use the phone with even more pleasure.
    The case fits like a skin around the phone, leaving access to all the connectors and controls (except the sim card slot). The openings in the case are placed very exact.
    Muvit has a special product line for Xperia models. Look at:
    http://mymuvit.net/muvit/control/collections
    There is one problem when using this case: When you use the Sony DK48 magnetic loaddock, the phone doesn't fit in together with the case. You can either use the DK48 without the "fitting piece" (34A/34B) or modify the 34B piece to make it fit.
    And... all you people out there... OF COURSE  I took an insurance for this phone, because it's expensive, and I haven't met any person who didn't drop her/his phone once. I don't expect the glass to break during normal use, but due to several threads about breaking glass (hoax or not...) I simply take that risk without worrying

  • Best solutions for artwork that is missing?

    What are the best solutions for artwork that is missing? I've heard of Rinse. Are there any risk of damage to my music database if I use any of theses?

    Compressors and limiters are great tools . . . just be careful not to overuse them.
    Too much will squeeze the life out of your sound, especially if it is going to be broadcast and therefore compressed/limited again.

    Addressing an edge case for TileList where at times the listItems array doesn't accurately reflect a fully realized set of item renderers.  This can occur when the TileList row/col creation routine bails out early when it believes it has no further need to create renderers due to current height of the list itself.
