Best effects and transition add-ons...

Anyone suggest a good package for effects and add-ons? I love iMovie's usability but it doesn't stack up against Pinnacle Studio with effects, etc.
I know Slick Transitions is out there...but any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How to fix problem with installed and working add-ons disappearing after update to 20.0.1?

I updated to version 20.0.1 of Firefox the other day. I had the theme Qute 3++ 1.19 installed and it took 3 restarts of the browser before it kicked in and worked again, for some reason.
Then I noticed that my MillBar Community toolbar 3.18.0.7 had disappeared, which I use for the feature of collecting my email accounts to get fast notifications about new emails. Also my Adblock Plus 2.2.3 seems to not be working because all of a sudden I see ads everywhere and I also discovered a bunch of pop-ups from nowhere. I used these add-ons for such a long time that I was shocked.
When i went to type a message to a friend, I also noticed that my american-english dictionary/spellchecker was not working.
The first thing I checked was that none of these add-ons was inactivated or said to need updates. The dictionary had disappeared, so i re-installed that. I also reinstalled Adblock Plus. Still it doesn't work.
When i entered the email information into the toolbar options, it collects my emails for a while, but suddenly it stops and the information is not there anymore. If I restart the browser it also disappears.
Same thing with the dictionary. it works for a while, and then suddenly it's like it's disabled.
And the add-ons are still in what seems like working conditions in my lists. No errors that I can see, no updates available.
I'm really at a loss as to what to do, I've never had problems like this before that couldn't be solved with an update of the add-on. So I'd be very grateful for help with this and hope that I have provided enough information.

There is some information in there that should help you to resolve your issue. Luckily, it is a very easy fix.

Firefox should save the download location as part of the data of each downloaded file in downloads.sqlite, but I do not think that there is a user interface to make that data visible.
The SQLite Manager shows that data in the Target field.

I have already written the swords, the texts and the central anime minecraft guy with Anime Studio, but i need to do this 3 things:
1. Am expanding cirle opening
2. A light/flash as transition between the first animation and the next logo
(I have another question, but more difficult: I want to do a sun rays effect from an angle)
All of these effects-transitions are in the youtube video that i linked.
Can someone help me with one of these questions?
I have Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

2. Filmflash transition is not default in Premiere. BCC has it for AE.

After upgrading to 20.0.1 cannot open a new window (CTRL+N) and no add-ons seem to work (apart from adblock plus).

Unable to open new window (but able to open new tabs).
Sometimes unable to open Add-ons tab.
The add-on extensions do not seem to be working, even though they seem to be ENABLED (except adblock plus).
When restarting in safe mode, or disabling ALL add-ons the browser works normally, thus new windows open, add-on tab opens etc.
Tried to enable one thing at a time, but it seems that when enabling WHICHEVER TWO add-ons, firefox starts acting "weirdly" (no new windows etc.).
Tried disabling hardware acceleration, but it didn't solve the problem.
Tried uninstalling firefox and then reinstalling. At first it all seemed working perfectly well: new windows opened, extensions working etc. But after a couple of restarts (of firefox and computer) it all got back to the same situation.
Tried uninstalling ALL add-ons and everything worked well. After installing the SECOND add-on and restarting firefox things get "wrong" again.
It all started after upgrading to Firefox 20.0.1.

When I go to tools and select 'add-ons' nothing happens. In troubleshoot help it says I don't have any and when I try to install one nothing happens either. Never had this prob before... Any ideas??

Ok I just went to post this and it said it has not been asked before and asked me to log in with more info. The title says it all really. The option is there under tools and looks normal but it has no functionality.
My adblock plus is still blocking ads, so even though I can't see or access my add ons they are still working in the background.
I searched for add ons and tried to install one to see if it would open them up and restart firefox but once I selected 'install', again... nothing happens.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Try to uninstall the current Java version and maybe delete the Java installation folder (C:\Java) if that didn't work.

From which folder did you delete the extensions.* files?
Firefox should have recreated at least extensions.rdf.

Major issues with a add-on Emoji Cheatsheet and missing add-ons in Firefox 37.0.2 ?

As soon as Firefox updated me to 37.0.2 installed I started having issues with missing add-ons and missing tool bar buttons.
Instead spending all day reloading add-on from "Refreshing" Firefox I just started going through my add-ons and disabling them and restarting (4-5 at a time) till thinks went right. I spent a hour last night till I got down t last few that could because it . I left FIREBUG disable and things started working as is and Compatibility Reporter started working too.
Well I woke up to start Firefox and to my shagrin it was messed up again. So I went back through and and remembered the few last add-ons I re-enabled right before I disabled Firbug. So I disable it and sure enough things went back to normal.
What Add-on was that?

When the icon for it shows on my toolbar everything else shows, yet when it goes awal many other things malfunction. I tried reloading Firfox several times and nothing change. So when I disable it and restarted things were normal and working.

How do you identify and remove add-ons/extensions

The explanation of how to remove add-ons tells you to click on menu (and then 3 parrelel bars) What menu is that? I figured out(by trying each and every menu until I figured out it was the tools menu. when I get to the last step it says click the remove button. There is NO remove button at that point (just an enable button which is the last thing I want to do. I am talking about the Cinema ploos extension. It represents it's self as an upgrade with many improved features, but all it is is an add bot that is noisy and obnoxious and they want a one time fee (extorsion) to remove it

Above is the results of your troubleshooting request. The extension I want to remove is called Cinema ploos 0.95.5 I currently have it disabled, but want to get rid of it altogether. One note I am on an I-mac.

. FF Ver 4 is very slow and does perform as well as 3.6. I uninstalled 4 after downloading ver 3.6.16 and that is causing colorfultabs not to color and the Add-ons page is freezing making it unable to use it. Ver 4 runs very slow. Please help.

It seems my machine does not like your ver4 and 3.6.16. I want the ver prior to 3.6.16. . Since the last 2 updates have not been able to use FF to browse or play Webkinz. It is way too slow. Following the install of 3.6.16 the Colorfultabs is not working and I can't fix it or adjust it because the Add-ons list/page freezes. I have removed/disabled several add-ons and extensions and nothing seems to help. If it were not for IE I would not be able to use my machine. I have 2.5 GB of memory and 30 percent plus of free space on my hard drive. I use Windows XP SP3 if that makes a difference. I don't think I need a lot of add-ons but need to know what I can remove. I had all the dot nets in add/remove but discovered they were not installed. Got all up to date. Puter is 2005, I have all that U listed except Win7. I just don't know if I need that or not. Did U say that I need more than the 2.5 GB

FF is running much better now but Webkinz accounts are still loading slower than in IE. I am wondering if maybe I should totally remove all of FF including customizations and personal info and start over fresh with a clean install of ver 4. I am still using ver 3.6.16. All plug-ins and Adobe add-ons gone after this last update! I want them back!

I have 4 critical Topaz plug-ins and several Adobe add-ons that make my workflow so much easier but after this last update they've disappeared. I found the Adobe AO's briefly in 'Extensions' and Features needed an update, I did and then it disappeared! I restarted and now 'Extensions' has NOTHING in it! I want my stuff back! The add-ons page ([https://addons.mozilla.org]) will let you know if the add-on you are looking at is not compatible with your version of firefox. There are also user reviews which give a good indication of whether there are any issues with the add-on.

Firefox will open normally as long as you do not click the Safe mode link in the Start menu.
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
>In Firefox 4 Safe mode also disables plugins (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins) and hardware acceleration (Tools > Options > Advanced > General)

BUT... be careful and read the install screens when installing, or you will have add-ons installed by default
1st add-on screen includes AVG toolbar & search... select custom install and uncheck the default option
2nd add-on screen includes Sendori (whatever that is)... select custom install and uncheck the default option

The 'bloatware' element of the latest ImgBurn downloads is now provided by something called 'OpenCandy' that varies the bloat it offers to install. However the ImgBurn author has posted three methods (from the OpenCandy FAQ) that disable the OpenCandy installer:

Beginner: disconnect your internet connection (beware some software needs the internet to complete its install)

How to lockdown and prevent add-ons from being installed?

Hi. I'd like to lockdown an installation of Firefox on a Win XP computer, to prevent add-ons from being installed by limited account users. How do I accomplish this please?

Use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock prefs or specify default values.
Place a file local-settings.js in the defaults\pref folder where you also find the file channel-prefs.js to specify using mozilla.cfg.
