There are no specific set of steps / practices for batch loading contents to ucm . It would be very much dependent on how many contents does the user have to load to UCM and how well the server is configured in terms of performance .

\Is there any Best Practice guide for Payments by credit card/ Payment card Processing.
The biz process is:
The purchasing department users purchase goods/services using their corporate credit cards. They obtain a credit card voucher/receipt for the purchase made. The credit card co. turns in the credit card statements/files once in a month the Accounts Payable matches the receipts with the statements/files & makes the payments.

Looking for a best-practices guide for developing in TestStand

I am looking for a best-practices guide for developing in TestStand. LabVIEW has its style guides and books, but there is very little published about TestStand.
Also, and I mention this since NI checks these entries as well, how about adding TestStand to the NI Developer Zone?

Best Practice Guide for object management in Integration Builder

Hi All,
I'm looking for a best practice guideline, or a strategy pattern for the management and maintainable of Integration Builder objects.
Is their such a document, or has someone experience with a huge amount of objects ( 200-300 interfaces) ?
I was thinking about a folder to sub-folder strategy, but don't feel comfortable with that solution:
-->Root folders ( business relationship e.g. "Customer", "Supplier", "Bank" etc.)

I am in the safe confusion one year back, we developed 200 interfaces in XI3.0 ,every interfaces has minimum 10 mapping programs,its difficult manage the alla scenarios ,
That what i created Software components for as per region like SA(South America), North Americ , Europe, Asia Pacific,we developed interafces for above regions,that why created software compinehts like that.
Then i created name spaces inside outbound and inboud to easy to diffentiate ..like that i had done.
If you are with PI7.1 betetr to go for Folders,create folders and move objects.

My first ideas are
1. Use software update often with a few days delay as they arrive to avoid surprises
2. Repair permissions from time to time above all after upgrading the OS
3. Repair Hard Drive booting the OS disc using disk utility
4. Defragment ? I have heard Unix based systems do this automatically.

Where does one find the Oracle Best Practice/recommendations for how to DR

What is the Oracle Best Practice for install/deployment and configuration of ODI 11g for Disaster Recovery?
We have a project that is using Oracle ODI 11g (11.1.1.5).
We have configured all the other Oracle FMW components as per the Oracle DR EDG guides. Basically using the Host ip name/aliasing concept to ‘trick’ the secondary site into thinking
it is primary and continue working with minimal (or no) manual reconfiguration. But will this work for ODI? The FMW DR guide has sections for SOA, WebCenter and IdM, but nothing for ODI.
Since ODI stores so much configuration information in the Master Repository..when this DB gets ‘data guarded’ to the secondary site and promoted to Primary…ODI will still think it is at the ‘other’ site. Will this break the actual agents running the scenarios?
Where does one find the Oracle Best Practice/recommendations for how to DR ODI properly?
We are looking for a solution that will allow a graceful switchover/failover with minimal manual re-configuration.

Are there any best practice oracle EBS documents around general management and operation functionality in Oracle EBS - that would be useful from an audit standpoint. I appreciate there is the best practices for securing oracle EBS document, but there must surely be other best practice documents for other management/functionality/operations of an Oracle EBS environment?

EWM - set up Slotting / best practice guide

who is aware of any best practice guide on how to set up and customize slotting for SAP EWM?
I'm just preparing a conference room pilot for EWM. I am ready to start testing NSM, mainly for management of home
directories but I cannot seem to find anything about the network
design/requirements for this product. I can see the install guides but
nothing about server requirements.
Do I need a dedicated server for this or would it be fine on an existing
OES server?
How much RAM etc does it need?
How many servers do I need? We have about 3000 users currently.
Does the server(s) need a replica? I really don't want to add more
replicas if it can be prevented.
Is there a best practices guide somewhere?

I cannot find the server requirements in the docs. I'm sure it's there
somewhere but I cannot find it. When looking at the "prerequisites" page

it doesn't mention anything about actual software/server requirements.
