  • Selecting the best Price for a condition type but only for some customers

    Hi All,
I have this situation where we have condition type ZPPR (COPY OF PR00) with 5-6 Condtion tables.
in Access sequence for ZPPR, we have Exclusion Indicator set for all the conditiona tables so if first price is found, it doesn't search for others.
Now I have a requirement that we should search for all the condition records and choose the lowest price. But this should happen for only a certain type of customers and not for everybody.
    Spefically we have:
    1. Contract Price
    2. Plant/Material price
Normally, if contract price is found, it doesn't look for Plant/Mat price but we want to offer our customers(some of them) an option where they could choose the lower of the two price. We set both the prices every day based on some inputs.
    Regards,
    Luke

    Hi Luke,
We have multiple option for this implementation:
Option 1: If possible based on access sequence. Not sure if this is suitable considering you mentioned that ZPPR has 5-6 access sequence.
    1) Store Contract price in condition type ZPPR and store  Plant / Material Price in new condition type say, ZPPX.
    2) Have separate pricing procedure and determine them based on customer type. In first pricing process XXXX01, configure Condition exclusion with the setting that ZPPX should be deactivated if ZPPR is present, condition exclusion procedure D (exclusive) . In second pricing procedure XXXX02, configure condition exclusion with the setting that compare ZPPX and ZPPR and activate best condition type for the customer by using condition exclusion procedure C (Best condition between two exclusion groups ).
    Option 2:
    1) Copy  ZPPR and its access sequence to a new condition type and access sequence say ZPPX without checking exclusion indicator in the access sequence. In the condition type control for condition type ZPPX >> Master data section >> Reference Condition type = ZPPR so that master data records  need not be duplicated.
2a) Assign the current procedure to the set of customers which should get the first price. Create a new procedure with condition type ZPPX instead of ZPPR keeping other parameters similar and assign the new procedure to other set of customers who should get the best price.
    OR
2b) if 2a is difficult in terms of future  maintenance, add condition type ZPPX in the same procedure and create 2 new pricing requirement validating the customer segments and assign them to respective condition type in procedure ZPPR and ZPPX.
    3) Maintain condition exclusion for condition type ZPPX with B ( Best condition within Condition type).
Hopefully it helps. Let me know if you need any other help in implementation of the solution.

  • Best price for new computer ?

Well, I have decided to buy the new Mac Pro Quad-core 2,66 GHz
The price of $2500 was (according to MacWorld) from a PriceGrabber survey of retailers in March 17, 2009.
We are now 8 months later, close to Christmas and the price I see today is still the same $2500.
I made a search with PriceGrabber, Shoplet, Amazon, etc. and all shows the same 5-7 stores (Mac Connection, J&R, CDW, ...) all giving the same price $2500-2600 (only shipping is different).
In one survey Mac Connection was $2300 total (no tax, free shipping).
Is that the best price ?
Where did YOU buy it ?

Amazon usually clips off a bit.
Also, what groups do you belong to?
ASMP has discounts for members, as an example - also Apple Developer Connection, depending on your participation level, etc.

    Hi all,
I want to get a good price on a Canon XL H1 to go with CS3.
Has anyone heard of or has done business with "trustedphoto.com" or "express cameras.com"?
They are advertising a Canon XL H1 for $3499 when the lowest prices I've seen from most other vendors is about $6300 to $7300 and up.

A sure fire way to get ripped off is to think that - just because it is on the internet - you can find quality equipment at half the market value. Don't be a sucker - these sites are all over the web jsut waiting for naive buyers to come in and get taken.
B&H = 100% quality and they tell you up front what is gray market or US product. I've purchased thousands of dollars of video and photographic equipment from B&H, and they always deliver the goods as promised.

I am looking to buy my son an i-pod shuffle for Christmas. Has anyone ran across a great place to buy one? Where will I get my best deal? Thanks! Kellyd

    Kelly,
I just bought an iPod Shuffle recently for $53.00 on eBay. It was almost too good to be true, but it really happened.
The cheapest one I've seen around there besides that was about 65 dollars.

You would have to web-order directly from Apple. Retail stores and resellers usually do not stock refurbs. All the Macs in our family that are in current use are refurbs and have provided excellent service. None have arrived with any cosmetic defects.

  • Best way to create special prices for a single BP?

    Hi Experts,
Can anyone suggest the best way to do the following?   I have a single BP who will ALWAYS purhcase at 10% above the landed cost (or last purchase price of an item) for any item in SAP B1.   I don't see how I can implement this through Special Prices.   Is there any other way?
    Regards
    Geoff

    Hi Gordon
I did consider this method but it occurred to me that whenever we create a new item (or indeed the last purhcase price of an item changes) then the special price will not change.   We also have a item list of over 50,000 items and I have always found that adding special prices for a business partner for all 50k items increases the sizes of the database considerably.
I am looking for a more dynamic approach that will change as we add new items or last purhcase price changes.
Could this be done through the addition of a new price list perhaps which is based on the last purchase price?   I don't fully understand what the factor does but I presume it will create a new price based on another price list only higher or lower?
    Regards
    Geoff

  • I want to compare the Family 700 plan to newer plans for best price.

We are currently on the Family plan 700 with rollover minutes. I get unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited text,3G on one phone's data use, 2G on the second, 200mb on third and no data on the fourth line. My total bill after taxes and fees runs about $220.00 up to $235.00 inthe last 6 months. We get a corporate discount of 20%.

My total bill after taxes and fees runs about $220.00 up to $235.00 inthe last 6 months. We get a corporate discount of 20%.
Let's see, if I add up all your data, you have about 5.2GB across 3 phones, and a fourth with no data (apparently a feature phone, since all smartphone require data plans).  If we look at the Mobile Share Value Plans we see:
6GB of shared data is $70, and 10GB of shared data is $100.  Your corporate discount would most likely only apply to this portion of your bill.
Each smartphone would then have a $40 fee for unlimited talk & text service, and the basic/feature phone would have a $20 fee for that, so that would add $140 to your bill.  Once again, this would most likely not get any corporate discount either.
Assuming your lines are either out of contract, or they has a service contract that started prior to 02/01/2014, you would be eligible for an "out of contract discount" for that phone.  The amount of your discount would be $15 per smartphone if your data plan is below 10GB, and $25 per smartphone if your data plan is 10GB or higher.  Your basic/feature phone would be a $5 duscount.  The catch here is that you would lose this discount if you sign a new service contract to replace a phone, or if you signed a new contract later than 02/01/2014.
From what we have so far, you could switch to a Mobile Share value Plan with 6GB of shared data and be paying about $197 (including your 20% discount on the $70 data plan) plus taxes & fees, assuming all your phones are contract subsidized.  This would probably total a little closer to $240-250 once all the taxes & federal fees are added.  Where it could save you money is if all your phones are eligible for the out of contract discount.
If you can get the out of contract discount, your fees would drop to about $147 plus taxes and fees for the 6GB data plan, and about $140 plus taxes and fees for the 10GB data plan.  Yes, you read that right, the 10GB data plan would be cheaper than the 6GB data plan due to the higher discounts for being out of contract.  The drawback to either of these is that if you sign a new service contract and get a subsidized phone, you will lose the discount, or you will have to pay full price for your phone (via NEXT, direct from AT&T, or from a third party).  I moved my wife & I from the plan you are currently one (except we both had the grandfathered unlimited data) to the 10GB shared plan and once we added new phones via NEXT, our bill was about $5/month higher than the old Family Talk plan, but before the new phones were added, we were saving about $40-50 each month. We also qualify for a 20% corporate discount and ours only applied to the shared data portion of the bill.

  • How hard can it be to get a price for DPS Enterprise?

Is the Enterprise License made from Unicorn tears or what?
We have now spent  three hours on three separate calls to Adobe enquiring about the cost of an Enterprise license. We are Adobe Pro users, and find it bizarre that no-one in the wide Adobe world appears to be able to be prepared to even guestimate a price for us.
But Adobe's support network is really good at passing us on to another department, in another country, to another department in another country until "our office is now closed".
Today, on attempt no 3 the Adobe sales person cut me off. She then  called my phone and left me a voicemail message, during which she put my voicemail on hold. Yes, she put my voicemail on hold…

    Hi Renny,
I work for MEI, Adobe's top reseller for the DPS product. We're working with a number of customers moving from Pro to Enterrpise and I'd be happy to help you as well. We also have some value-add products and services to help you make the most out of the DPS Enterprise platform like our recently announced MEI Portico solution.
Please feel free to email me at the address below. I also sent you a PM with my cellphone.
    Best,

On a tablet- pse forgive typos....
Great Advice given earlier by SuzyQ   - I believe the question not asked of you is ---what do you want to pay for the services that you need.  I think that it would narrow the groups suggestions if you could narrow your needs.
For example: I need talk and text on 4 phones and some data say, 2 Gig, on only one of the phones. what plan is the best cost for me? You may also need to ask what the cost may be to switch to a different plan. I suspect that there will be no cost within Verizon-but ask anyway.
I do not think that you can have a smart phone on any Verizon plan unless you agree to buy data for that phone. Also, you said that wifi is often available-however, I do not believe that Verizon allows talking over wifi without consuming airtime minutes-only data over wifi avoids your allowance to be impacted.
As most here already know, several other service providers offer wifi-friendly service (talk/text/data) that will provide  home/business/restaurant service without impacting your allowance- just not here.
After getting some suggestions here, call 611 and confirm availibility and price.
Best of luck in your research.

  • NO LONGER THE BEST HEADPHONES FOR ZEN TO

    <DIV align=center>********** UPDATE **********
    <DIV align=center>
I can no longer recommend these earbuds due to poor quality. Mine broke after only a few weeks of moderate use. I handled them gingerly too. The left channel lost all bass and 50% of the volume. In my opinion, this is simply inexcuseable! I returned them and got another pair, but that is besides the point. Now I'll have to listen with my fingers crossed, hoping and praying that this pair dosen't unexpectedly die for no reason. With this kind of poor quality control, I can no longer recommend these. In spite of how great they sound, I'd have to tell you to buy at your own risk!
If you want your Zen Touch to reach its full potential, you need to upgrade your headphones. The included earbuds are OK, but they don't bring out the best in the Zen. The ones I would highly recommend are the Sony MDR-EX7SL. I've never been interested in the in the ear style headphones before. I always assumed that they just couldn't produce sufficient bass because of their small drivers. Boy was I wrong. Unlike conventional over the ear headphones, earbuds don't rely on large size drivers to produce bass. Their bass is achieved through an "air tight seal". That's why these come with three different size silicon ear buds. A tight seal is essential, yet easily achieved with one of the three different sizes included. The sound reproduced by these is astonishing! I have no desire to go back to full size over the ear headphones. The bass is deep, well controlled and tight with no distortion or muddyness. The midrange is airy and transparent. The highs are pristine and velvety smooth. All frequencies are well balanced. These things are so tiny, when you first see them you can't help but be skeptical. One listen and your jaw will drop. If you read any negati've reviews about these babies, the reviewer probably doesn't have the proper fit. They also come in white, which is a perfect match for my Creative Zen Touch 40GB. Run out and buy these now! Trust me. You won't regret it.
One note. If you want to save yourself $0.00, you can get the MDR-EX5SL instead. They use the same exact drivers. The only differences are: they come in black only, they have a single 4 ft. cord instead of a two piece cord, they only come with two different size silicon earbuds (instead of 3) and there is no carrying case included.
<B><FONT color=#92560>Cons:</B> Carrying case could be a little bigger.
