Best screen angle for best viewing?

The screen image looks the sharpest with most vivid colors when screen is almost "all the way back" just about as far as it can open. Is this normal?
With a separate flat panel screen (stand alone, not part of a laptop), the screen is vertical, so why do i have to push the laptop screen back so far?
Just curious...is it just me?

Hi,
The "Tab Page Allocation" setting determines how many sub-screens can be added to the tab. It is therefore not possible to change this field for some tabs which are designed to be single screen only. Example - 10\TAB10 (items), 10\TAB11 (tasks).
Should be changeable on tabs that allow multiple subscreens. Exampel - 10\TAB02 (Additional data).

Optimum Screen Resolution for Slides

I need to create a few slides which will be displayed full-screen. Since
there's no way to know the resolution of the monitors of the many
participants, how do I choose the resolution of my slides? Are they
downsampled in any way by the Adobe server when I upload them? My screen
resolution is 1920 x 1200 but I suspect a slide built to that resolution
would create problems for viewers on smaller monitors. Am I right? Is
there an optimum screen resolution for slides viewed during a Connect Pro
session?

Natively you'll get a resolution of 1440 x 900 or you can pay for an upgrade to 1680 x 1050(current models).

Best Export Options for QT5 Viewing

I run a site for Mac OS 7 users and want to upload some videos there in QuickTime 5 format (the latest version for Mac OS 7). I am working on a G4 running Tiger and QuickTime 7 Pro.
What are some of your opinions on the best export options for QT5 viewing, distrubed over the internet, at say 320x240?

Alas, the data rate of these two video codecs must be a lot higher (at least 25% more than the more modern codecs) to ensure a good visual experience.
A neat html "trick" is to encode with these higher data rates but at a smaller dimension. Instead of 320X240 use 160X120. The smaller dimensions help keep the file size down. During html playback use the object and embed tag to scale="tofit" and enlarge the playback area.
Your src (source) tag dimensions are larger than the original source file. Using scale="tofit" tags the file plays at the designated size instead of the original (160X120) size.
The pages hosted for .Mac users (iWeb and Homepage) use the opposite tag (scale="aspect") that fit the source to the template of the page. One of mine as an example:

Best for Web viewing

I was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions on which is the best way to export my video for web viewing.
Currently I have a project that was only 1.9MB big but when I exported it to a .mov file it came out to be over 350MB large!
My project is currently exporting at 720x480, 29397 [fps], Lower, Quality 50 - Audio at 32000 Hz, Mono, 16bit - DV/DVCPRO - NTSC.
I understand that the 720x480 will have to be reduced and was wonering if anyone out there had any suggestions how to "shrink" the video and make it the best quality for web viewing..

You are not comparing things correctly. The Project File is no indicator of what the export file is likely to be because it does not include the size of all the clips and media contained in your project. THe ppj is kind of an organisational list of all your edit decisions and the locations of the media theyrefer to etc...

I tried exporting my 5min slideshow in iMovie using this setting:

So far, this is good file size for online uploading, and good quality. Good enough. But there are still color issues, like some color blotching, and color transitioning, and the quality of the photos in the imovie when exported is not as good as when I view the slideshow in imovie. It's very important that the quality of the photos remain top quality as this for fine art photography promotion.
If you have any ideas how to export slideshows from imovie, in top quality, please reply. This is for online viewing, to be uploaded in free-hosted sites like youtube, facebook, multiply, etc. I am aware that youtube and facebook have HD options for video viewing. I need someone's help. Thanks.

Screen enhancmenet for std transaction - best approach

I need to enhance the std transactions VL31N,VL32N,VL33N to inlcude some new custom fields under the ITEM OVERVIEW tab for the Inbound delivery.
Note : Custom fields are already created.
In order to perform the above changes,which is the best approach?Do I need to copy the std transactions or Do i make changes in the screen/logic in the std program i.e. SAPMV50A for these transactions?

Always the last resort is to copy the standard transactions - best approach is to find a way to enhance the standard screens.
However, I'm not familiar with exits for the delivery transactions but according to this thread it may be difficult:
BADI or Screen EXIT for adding field to VL01n (Delivery Document)

Best quality .AVI for PC viewing

How can i export with best quality AVI for PC viewing. HAS to be AVI. I use the expert settings with keyframe of 10 and 100 kb/sec max, and it is very "blocky".. How to improve the quality.

basically, use "expert settings" "movie to AVI" "options" "settings" "cinepak" "millions of colors" "high" "30 fps" "key frame every 300 frames" "limit data to 400kbytes/sec"
following the above instruction, i was able to export a movie to a decent size avi file that plays on wmp on a pc. (i didn't use sound cuz i didn't have any but there is instruction for sound on the pdf file)
i use a mac but have to create videos that can be viewed on any computer and can be used on a powerpoint presentation. i was so happy when i found a way to make good quality (actually i used "best" rather than "high" under quality), not choppy video for pc and mac viewing.

I am looking for a privacy screen protector for my 13" MacBook Air that will interfere the least amount possible with image clarity and such. Q: What is THE BEST screen protector for Nokia N97?
I like ZAGG in general but for touch screen it seems like ZAGG is more on "sticky" side. I think for N97 screen protector should be more "smooth" a specially where you have to do some writing with you finger.

I have used a number of screen protectors and this is one of the best ones so far (from the 20 in a pack for 0.99 cents to the military/space grade ones). The anti-glare feature doesn't get any better than this. The other product that looks good too is the Power Support screen protector. However, the PhoneDevil/MediaDevil are a better bargain. I have the Power Support anti-glare on my iPad and the PhoneDevil/MediaDevil on my iPhone. After installing both I ordered another pack of the PhoneDevil/MediaDevil for my wife's iPhone and for 2 other iPads that we have. I use my iPhone/iPad to process credit cards and customers have to sign on them. It is nice to hand them the gadget without tons of finger prints on the screen. It is also easier for them to see outdoors.
As with any screen protector, the key is to ensure the screen is clean. I recommend that these are installed in the bathroom. Let the hot shower run for a bit so the bathroom steams up. Once the steam has cleared, clean the screen as noted in the instructions. Don't be in a rush. Take your time. Also, use the card provided to remove any bubbles.

Pretty much any of them made for an iPod 5 will protect the screen from scratches, it's more personal preference. I personally use a Survivor case by Griffin. It's a little bulky but it offers protection for the entire iPod not just the screen. The rubberized back and sides protect against drops and falls, (cracked screens) and the port covers keep muck and moisture out of the charging and headphone ports. I have beat the snot out of it and so far so good. Just note some cases are waterproof like the Survivor (will keep most water off your iPod, spills, rain, snow) and some are watertight like Lifeproof Fre (drop it in the toilet-- happens more than you'd think-- or go swimming with it and it's still dry provided the seals are working).
