Hi everyone,
I need do develop two custom reports for my clients in my SAP Portal, the problem is that I'm new to this so I don't know which are the best tools to do it. (Maybe BPS or developing in the Netweaver developer studio)
Can you recommend me the best way to develop and publish a custom report?
Any guides or manuals are welcomed

First of welcome to SAP Portal Community. Portal provides ready made solutions for reports.
If your requirement is Showing reports - No Validations,
- you can go for Portal iViews. Need to create systems for the back end systems.
how to display abap reports in EP
- You can use visual composer iviews, simple to use with rich user interface.
Visual composer
If your requirement is with validations, then go for Web Dynpro.
- You need to write business logic for that.

In Analysis Services, we can monitor the performance of Analysis Services by using SQL Server Profiler or Performance Monitor. In SQL Server Profiler, we can create and manage traces and analyze and replay trace results. In Performance Monitor,

Airplay is a wireless streaming protocol. It allows content to be pushed from the iPad through the Apple TV onto your connected HDTV.

Best tool to check i/o of external hard drive??

I'm using a couple different external hard drives and simply want to check the i/o on them to determine which is the fastest for data storage & retrieval. Wondering what the best tool might be for this test??

I found a utility called mmbench that does just that. It's a few years old, and not in active development , but works on my iMac with 10.6.3.

Just install the composite and you will be through.
Make sure composite should be of 11.1.1.6 as your Jdeveloper is of 11.1.1.6 version.

I have heard of Wily Introscope, PerformaSure, AdventNet ...
What we need is a tool which will tell me exactly where the problem occured, and
not just fire an alert telling something went down.
We have our own logging which can isolate the problem quite well.

Unfortunately true parallax scrolling with easing in not easily done like what a Adobe is trying to promote with their motion scroll effects in Muse. It needs to be done with jQuery and CSS3. Take a look at this site www.boy-coy.com. That site uses TRUE parallax effect. It's not achievable in Muse but you can use Dreamweaver to make your own code.

Suggestions about the best tool for quality check for an ADF application

Hi All,
I need a few suggestions about the best tool for quality check in our ADF applicaiton.
ours is a small size WebCenter Portal application which neither uses any task flows nor consumes any portlets.
It has many jspx pages that use ADF components like table etc, consume web services using web service clients, and has some java classes.
We have come across below option to implement the code quality tools.
1. Jdeveloper inbuilt Staus option in View tab
2. PMD extension for Jdeveloper
3. Red Samurai
Few more suggestions or best practices would be really helpful.

Not according to the people I have rented from because I asked them. They provided me with a suggestion I simply thought I would get another opinion.
I am not trying to get anything for free I just want more than 24 hours to finish watching a movie on my iPad. If iTunes would give more than 24 hours to finish a movie (like 48???) it would help. I have spend endless hours trying to comunicate with Apple about the issue. Guess what no one cares! I love Apple and my Apple products, I am a very good customer but I think they are over the top on this issue, they have a monopoly.
Maybe you have another suggestion??

Is Flash the best tool to ....

I was just tasked with creating an online, interactive Getting Started tutorial for a software application.
It will basically walk you through the windows to perform a typical setup, with some branching off for special cases.
Essentially a main series of screen shots with text that you can scroll through using arrows, with links off to other screen shots or sequences as need.
My boss wants it to be "hip and flashy", so wants me to look into Flash.
But is that the best tool to use for this ? In all the Flash tutorials I have been watching I haven't seen anything that looks like that kind of application.
Is there another Adobe prodct that might be better ?

Flash is well-suited for this task, and is capable of realizing whatever your boss considers to be hip and flashy.

The Best Tool For Multiple Animated Objects

Hi,
I am expirimenting with Flash Web Sites, and I would like suggestions as to a starting point for my project, and I am assuming a Flash website is where I would start.
Basically, If I were to open up a web page, I would like to see multiple animated objects. For example, if I were to simulate an Emergency Room, I would have an EKG displaying a heart rate, then perhaps see a breathing maching apparatus moving up and down, a Drip bag (sorry, don't know the real term), dripping into a patient's tube. And of course, if I were to roll over an object it would animate, and if clicked on more animation or on to another page.
I tried creating the animated objects in Fireworks, and I thought I could combine various Firworks files into one, but it didn't work (too many frames), either becasue I lack the knowlege of how to do this or simply it cannot be done that way in Fireworks. I had a background with one animated flashing object (that was easy), but combining multiple independent objects, I could not figure it out.
Someone suggested that I would have to use Action Scripts, which made me realize, I don't know the best way to accomplish my example above, and although I know I may be over my head, I would just like to get direction as to where I should begin.
Should it all be in Flash in the first place? To continue on with the example above, after a user clicks on the rollover image, a girney comes rolling in and we are giving choices on a monitor with what our next actions should be, which would take us into another page. (this is just to give you perpective of what I am trying to accomplish).
Should I create independent animated objects (files) in Fireworks, then somehow import them into their specified location in Flash.
I hope this makes sense and I am hoping someone is kind enough to provide a starting point.

Flash is the best tool for what you want and most of it can be done once you get a handle on the basics.
For you interactivity (rollOvers / triggering more animations with mouse) you will need some actionscript but don't get hung up on that now.
There is a world of info out there. Google "animation basics in flash) you may have to weed through some garbage but you will find what you are looking for somewhere.

Is Business Manager the best tool for our company?

I have a number of quesitons to answer to figure out if Busienss Manager is the best tool for our company. The ONLY reason we are pursuing changing from individual accounts is that Share Screen has been removed from some of our accounts with the latest Skype update.
Can we port existing Skype account names to Business Manager?
Will Skype contacts be kept?
Is 'Share Screen' part of Business Man.?
Is it east to add and delete user accounts in Business Manager?
What are the admin issues?
Can more than one person be the administrator? Is it easily transfered?
The Business Manager literature refers to credit allocation, tracking and reporting as a benefit of Business manager. Credit is not a concern for our company as we seldom use Skype to call phones. What are the other benefits of Skype business Manager?

Up until a few weeks ago I would certainly reccomend Skype, but my advice is for youy to look for another company.
Skype doesn't care about it's business customers, I and others have been trying to buy credits for week but the system is broken with no fix in sight, I was told it would be fixed by the end of the week, it hasn't been!!
Read for yourself then go look for another phone provider, Skype is not responsive to business customers!
