Best way to apply XSLT to the payload

Hi, I'm new with webservice and esb. I've successfully deployed a webservice based on EJB 3.0 in jdev10, and try to figure out how to apply xslt to the soap payload. I made a web service proxy and it works fine too. What should be the next step? Do I need a jsp page, xslt file and write some code to do the transformation? Where could I find some sample code/tutorial on this?

well the reason ask is because the last time i tried it on the heat sink and stuck the heat sink on the cpu, the grease gooped over to the other parts of the cpu it's not supposed to be on.  so i removed the heat sink, cleaned everything up and then applied to the cpu on the die, smoother it out and stuck the heat sink on and clamped it down.  when i removed the heat sink, it look all nice and pretty and not sloppy.
didn't know if you guys had any other ideas.  of course, i didn't know how much actually needed to be applied.  so i'm thinking i might have put too much on in the first place

    you need two istances of the same piano (exs24 Logic patch are great)
    use fine detune (pitch) only one of the two piano istances.

        The Best way would be:
    Apply the patch on the secondry one first and then on the primary box.
    You dont really need to make any box a stand alone one. You can apply the patch in the ditributed enviorment.
    One more thing:
    If you apply the patch on the primary box and then perform replication.It WILLNOT replicate the patch on the secondry box.
    Here is the procedure:
    Steps to apply the patch
           Issue the following "acs patch" command in the EXEC mode to install the ACS patch:
           "acs patch install patch-name.tar.gpg repository repository-name"
           ACS displays the following confirmation message:
            Installing an ACS patch requires a restart of ACS services.
           Would you like to continue? yes/no
           Enter yes.
    Please ensure that you use FTP server. Donot use TFTP as its not supported.

  • Best way to apply Schemas to Fragments

    I'm been researching the best way to apply schemas to my fragments.   Either by applying all fragment and field schema elements to the form
    or to put the fragment schema elements within the fragment.   I feel keeping a schema within the fragment seems like the way to go, but
    unsure.   I you only reference a fragments schema in a form and a fragment within that form changes, do you have to go back a modify every form schema that is using that fragment?  If I keep the schema in the fragment then I would only need to modify the fragment schema..correct?
    Wow..hope this makes sense.

    I agree with the small caveat that it sort of depends on the business/technical requirements surrounding your use of fragments.  Fragments can be sort of flaky and difficult to work with so to peg a specific all-encompassing "best practice" would, in my opinion, be impossible.  Using relative bindings in fragments is great (in fact it's what I'm doing on my current LC project), but it ends up becoming a bit limiting.  It can make the fragment pretty tightly coupled to the "main" XDP form and whatever schema/XML is bound to it.  Probably 9 times out of 10, that's not an issue, but the reasons for electing to use fragments can make it something you really need to think about.
    My advice would be to avoid fragments unless you specifically need that functionality for a specific reason.  It's easy to use fragments because they are cool and seem clean, but then can end up causing more headache than it's worth.  On the other hand, using fragments as a method of compartmentalizing script objects is really really helpful.  It helps you keep all your JavaScript inside script objects (instead of inside object events) and allows for reuse of scripts in different areas of the form(s).  This saves development time, refactoring time, and disk space.  I highly recommend looking into that scenario whenever possible.

    According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when you applied XSLT script to XML Viewer web part.
    This issue may be caused by a recent published security fix for the .NET Framework 3.5.1.
    For SharePoint 2010 there is now a re-released fix out to resolve the problem.

  • What's the best way to back up to the cloud?

    I am going to be traveling in the on a boat in Europe. Access to wifi could be limited and slow. I want to back up my photos and catalog to the cloud as there is potental to lose laptop and external drive. Since I have a 25 mp camera and will be shooting in Raw allot, there will be some big files as each photo could be around 27 gb.
    All of my files will be in the My pictures folder LR set up when I set up my new catalog. I planned to back up these folders to the cloud, then send just the new folders each time I add them to LR during import. Then I was going to have the catalog BK that is created each time you close LR  (just the data only is in this file) sent to the cloud as well.
    Then if my laptop is lost I can copy the back up catalog (just the data file) and the My Pictures file that has all my photos in folders to a new laptop and restore my catalog. I'm told by Adobe help that this won't work as the connection between the photos and the catalog back up will be lost.
    Is this correct? And if so, what's a better method.

    Thanks Jim, and yes I meant 27 mb.  Will be living on a sail boat so there is potential to lose both the laptop and external drive. The cloud was to be my 3rd copy

    You really have images that are 27 GB each? I suspect you meant 27 MB. But, even then, I think cloud backup might be cumbersome. I would suggest carrying a small external hard drive. I have a 1 TB USB 3 drive that is really fast and very small. No external power supply. Plug it in, and copy the files. That's what I would do.

    If the entire library is on the external drive then simply copy the iTunes folder into <User's Music> on the new computer, then install iTunes. If you've already installed iTunes you will want to remove the empty iTunes folder in <User's Music> first.

    From what I read, I have 2 choices: 1. to install OSX and then upgrade to Mavericks, but I'm not sure if this would be possible (to upgrade directly from OSX to Mavericks); and 2. to use a software called Super Duper.
    I wouldn't like to have to use a third party software to do this, so the question is: is there a better way to install directly the Mavericks not having to use a third party software?

    Install the new drive in the computer.
    Install the old drive in an external USB or Firewire enclosure.
    Boot the computer from the Recovery HD on the external drive.
    Use Disk Utility to partition and format the new internal drive.
    Clone your external drive to the internal drive.
    How to replace or upgrade a drive in a laptop
    Step One: Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
    Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
    If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    Step Two: Remove the old drive and install the new drive.  Place the old drive in an external USB enclosure.  You can buy one at OWC who is also a good vendor for drives.
    Step Three: Boot from the Recovery HD on the external drive.  Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager appears.  Select the icon for the Recovery HD then click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Step Four: New Hard Drive Preparation
      1. Open Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
      2. After DU loads select your new hard drive (this is the entry with the
          mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of
          the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive
          is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  Otherwise, click on the
          Partition tab in the DU main window.
      3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from
          the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended
          (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to
          GUID  then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and
          wait until the process has completed.
      4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the
          drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main
          window.
      5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the
          Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to
          return to the Erase window.
      6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several
          hours depending upon the drive size.
    Step Five: Clone the old drive to the new drive
      1. Using Disk Utility still opened.
      2. Select the destination volume from the left side list.
      3. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
      4. Check the box labeled Erase destination.
      5. Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the
          Destination entry field.
      6. Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the
          Source entry field.
      7. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
    Destination means the new internal drive. Source means the old external drive.
    Step Six: Open the Startup Disk preferences and select the new internal volume.  Click on the Restart button.  You should boot from the new drive.  Eject the external drive and disconnect it from the computer.

    What is the best way to charge and use the battery so it lasts the longest over time? Does wall charger versus USB make a difference? Does topping off versus draining make a difference?

    My understanding is to charge the battery as soon as you're able to, without letting it drain completely and or often.
    With my digital SLR cameras, it's recommended by engineers that have studied Lithium-ion battery charging to not allow them to drain...or not allow them to fall below 50% capacity. If you charge them when you're able to, you'll extend the life of the battery. I see these results first hand.
    Funny, my sister uses the blackberry type 'smartphones' and she ALWAYS has battery issues. She runs down the battery, then plugs them in for a short time to get a 'quick charge', then proceeds to run the battery down again.
    Next thing you know, her phone won't last the day or half day on a charge.
    So maybe there is something to recharging as soon as you can and not allowing the battery to die on you.

    There is none. Whatever you do to get rid of the older versions will inevitably do damage to shared components and other stuff of the new versions as well. That's just how it is with this approach... Uninstall the older versions, run the cleaner tool then reinstall CC 2014.

    Good idea.
    Back up first.
    I would probably wait for the merge function of the latest version before merging. Be sure to verify every merge.
    Merge Libraries, then from within Aperture move images to referenced on external hard drives.

  • Best way to remove smudges off the screen?

    My question's self-explanatory.
    Obviously it would be best that I keep my hand clean at all times, but sometimes that proves difficult. So what's the best/safest way to remove screen smudges? Cheers.

    A guy at a camera store showed me this trick. Take a strip of scotch tape, the frosty looking kind, and lay it across the iPhone screen... then pull the tape up. Pulls smudges, oils and dirt off the screen. Repeat as many times as needed to traverse the entire surface. Works better/ easier than anything else I have tried.

    Best suggestion here. Really works!  Scotch "Magic" tape stickiness just right.  Removes smudge and grease.  Use Magic tape and then finish with micro-cloth.

  • Best way to back up to the cloud

    So far I have backed up my Mac to iDisk using MobileMe, but since it is going away, and since my MacBook was 4+ years old, I bought a new MacBook pro with lion. What are my choices for backing up to the cloud, since iCloud won't back up my documents with some exceptions?
    Dropbox?
    Something else?
    I also back up to an external HD using time machine.

    Thanks Jim, and yes I meant 27 mb.  Will be living on a sail boat so there is potential to lose both the laptop and external drive. The cloud was to be my 3rd copy

    You really have images that are 27 GB each? I suspect you meant 27 MB. But, even then, I think cloud backup might be cumbersome. I would suggest carrying a small external hard drive. I have a 1 TB USB 3 drive that is really fast and very small. No external power supply. Plug it in, and copy the files. That's what I would do.
