Best way to buy SB Live! 5.1 (SB0060

I was told that Sb Li've! 5. (SB0060) is the best card that still supports DOS/legacy drivers.
However I can't find this card at any store near me (e.g. Fry's and CompUSA). There are only a couple on e-bay and they are all used or without CD, etc., and I've been cheated too many times on ebay. Is there any retailer still selling sealed boxes of this?

The SB0060's newest drivers also do not have DOS drivers so you will need to use the older VXD drivers from our website with it.

BTW I noticed my current sound card (SB Li've! Value) has DOS support in the retail drivers (on the CD it comes with) but the downloads from your site such as Li'veware 3.0 and the "latest drivers" don't support DOS. Is SB0060 basically the same? So if I install the retail SB00600 drivers and then any downloads I will still keep DOS support? (This is why I don't want a used card, I want the retail CD.)
Another questiuon: why is it that when I install the Li'veware 3.0 I get nice new, high-version number dll's and vxd's; but then when I install the "latest driver update" for SB Li've! Value the files become older and the version numbers actually decrease!?
It seems like for SB Li've! cards in general, just installing retail drivers and then Li'veware! 3.0 is the best way to go. The nasty driver updates will actually decrease your version numbers!

I am going to purchase my first macbook pro next week. I am switching from Windows to Apple after 10 plus years of use. I am very excited to make the switch. My question is this, I was wondering what is the best way to buy one at an apple store? Should I schedule a one on one to make sure i get a rep? The reason I say this is because the store i go to is constantly busy and seems as though i probably wouldnt be able to get a sales rep for a while. Also i was wondering if this is something people use alot or does scheduling a one on one not happen very often. It never hurts to get a rep, as they may be able to show you things about the machine you may not have known, and if they are well trained, they can answer all your questions and make you feel more comfortable about your purchase.
For custom configurations that are not listed in the store online by default, you will likely need to go online, though some stores have a fully featured configuration with the maximum custom addons all prebundled. For more customization online is better.
Ordering over the phone to the brick and morter store is not as likely to be doable, though some stores may offer it. Each store has their own policy, and I suggest calling them ahead to find out what it is.

I'm in Canada and want to buy an iPad for somebody in London, England.
What's the best way to do that?
I went to the Apple UK website, put the iPad in my shopping cart, and went to check out. Then I found out they have a security setting that won't let you buy anything unless you're from the UK/Europe/USA.
Do I have to buy one from an Apple Canada store online and mail it? If so are there any configuration differences for the UK that would prevent it from working even if I got it working here?
I'd prefer to buy it from the UK where they have free shipping direct and guaranteed compatibility. I haven't found any UK stores besides the Apple site that sell them.

Best way to recreate all live assets in SAP and scrap current assets

We have a situation where we have to recreate all (15000) our assets as new assets. We will have to create new assets, provide new acquisition value and new useful life and start depreciating them from scratch. Also we will have to dispose all the current assets.
What is the best way to accomplish this:-
1) I was thinking to write a BDC program for AS01 transaction to create new assets and in the text field, give a reference to old assets.
For Balances transfer, use transaction FB01 or F-91.
*2) Use BDC to map transaction AS91 and add in value there. Although this is not transferring from legacy data but only in SAP. Will these current assets be considered as legacy data. Is this transaction feasible to use.*
Also, what transaction can I use for mass asset data scrapping of current assets

Yes, the Photography Package, as it's called, is a special package for photographers which includes Photoshop and Lightroom for $9.99/MO. To get Illustrator, you'll need to additionally buy the Single App Plan for $19.99/MO. This will total $29.98/MO. You do have two more options though: You could simply buy the Full subscription for $49.99/MO which includes all CC apps - Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, etc. - OR you could purchase a serial number for the older, but still sold, Illustrator CS6 ($599), in addition to the CC Photography Plan.

Ya know what I'm on a brand new MBP just about 24 hours old and you know whats been working amazingly for me. I have a 27inch iMac as well and i've just connected it to my network and been dragging files and apps across the network onto my new MBP. Its really working fast and its flawless. You could always do that option, Just go into sharing options and turn them on for both Macs. Then just click and drag. Of course they have to both be on the same network for this to be possible.
Look at my network.
Shared is what your looking at. I click on there see all my computers files and then drag the ones i want form its folder to my MBP folders. Hope that helps if your looking for a very simple way on a wireless network.

Yes, assuming that the printer is located where it can receive a strong wireless signal.

Follow the steps provided by Canon to install the printer and have it "join" the wireless network that will be provided by the Time Capsule.

The best way? Get her to bring it to you, especially if she makes good cakes.
Apples Back to my Mac isn't really suitable for this - it is designed for a single person who wants their Apple ID on the system. It would mean she would have to share hers with you & you would also have to setup her Apple ID on your Mac - it is messy & causes trouble with iCloud, iTunes etc.
You can try Messages if she is able to begin a session with you, see the 'invite to share screen' in the menus, weirdly you need to use a service that isn't from Apple.

It may be better if you to setup LogMeIn or GoToMyPC. They should 'dial out' & maintain a constant connection so you can login whenever the Mac is powered up. It won't, require a human to initiate the process at the other end, just be aware that the router may cause issues depending on what is configured, you may need settings to enable automatic port forwarding - it really depend on which option you choose.
