Best way to relink articles when relink is grayed out?

I am tasked with updating a folio created by another agency and hosted by the client. All I need to do is relink my updated InDesign files to the existing articles, since the changes were very minor, but the articles in the folio the client provided me access to (shared with me) are grayed out. It looks like I have access to make other changes, just not relink. Is this a permission issue on the client side or am I missing something obvious? I am not sure the best/easiest way to proceed. We are not using a sidecar xml file. Thanks.

how can i delete songs from iPhone when they are grayed out. It doesnt let me delete from itunes either and its just taking up space on my iphone and i cant even listen to the song that are grayed out

I did this with about 100 songs, and the problem is everytime I connect my iphone with itunes, It will automatically sync back every single song I did delete on the phone by swiping.
I did search on google and found out that serveral people has this problem. The songs wont delete from itunes library.
So why do they even make this function if it only deletes the songs for a short time?

Best way to support iPhone when already got iBooks uploaded?

I have already uploaded our Sing alone song books (with videos) to iBookstore. Since those books only supported iPad (done with iBA), we wish to support iPhone too (using ePub), as it will be cool to sing on a phone too.
We tested the ePub version and works fine on iPhone and wish to upload it for iPhone.
Is this allowed? To have 1 book targeting iPad and another targeting iPhone?
Can we make the ePub version iPhone-only?
What's the best way to name the books to avoid confusion?

Your e-pub version cannot be 'iPhone' only, sorry. If you do this, you'll have one version for iPhone/iPad and one for iPad (iBook 2 only) in the store at the same time.
Not sure what name to suggest without knowing the existing name, sorry. You may wish to check the store for examples and be ready with options if Apple objects during the review process.

How do I delete my old iCloud ID when it is "grayed" out

My iCloud ID is for my old email address that is no longer used as my Apple ID and has been deleted from the account due to it being my old work email.
When I started with my brandnew iPhone 5 yesterday it automatically linked my old iCloud ID and will no longer work until I type in the passowrd
As it is not linked to my apple ID there is no passowrd, but I cannot delete the ID from my phone and use cloud until it is typed in.
where the iCloud ID is in my phone is "grayed" out so I cannot delete it.
Any Ideas?

Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account.

Setting "Open With" When App is Grayed Out

I'd like to set the default application for a file type used with a program called ExtendSim. I purchased the Mac version of this program but quite frankly, it isn't very Mac-like. Not sure if that is related to the problem.
I have no problems opening the project files if I open them through the application. However, I'd like to be able open the app by clicking on the files in the Finder. When I Get Info and then Open With on a file, no apps are listed. If I click on Other to navigate through my Applications, the app that opens the file is grayed out. Not sure if it matters but the app is stored in a folder inside the Applications folder.
Not sure if this is another clue, but when the app is open, the icon displayed in the doc is the generic application doc rather than the apps actual icon. The program is relatively recent-- purchased last month.

Talk to the developer of that application. It's his responsibility to provide the required meta information in the application bundle that enables OS X to launch documents with an application. He will also have to implement the actual ability to accept arguments on launch and to react to them correctly.
Unfortunately there are many programs that come from different platforms and do not respect platform specific design guidelines on the Mac. So there's probably nothing you can do.

Best way to relink media

In FCP when you relink one file the rest relink automatically as long as they are in the same folder location. Is this the case in Premiere CS6 or will i have to link each indivudal file? I'm moving my project to a new computer.

There a few ways to accomplish this (if I understand you correctly). You can simply drag the captured clips from the finder into the new projet or you can have multiple projects open at the same time and drag the clips between the bins in the browser. If you're moving clips between computers it's possible you might have to reconnect the clips if you've moved the clips to another drive. Pretty simple, select multiple clips in the browser and control click and choose reconnect. Explore the options in the file requester and you should be able to figure this out.

The first thing to do is understand how innovative companies are using S/4HANA. You can do this by watching free broadcasts from SAPPHIRE NOW and the HANA Effect podcast. If you don't understand how the S/4HANA innovations can help, then I think any other learning is just in a vacuum and not going to be productive.
Then I would suggest taking some of the many free courses available from SAP, like this one from OpenSAP.

Best way to patch QuickTime when using iTunes?

I'm wondering if anyone else has run across this issue...
I have installed iTunes which comes of course with Quicktime. I do a clean install of iTunes each time a new version is released as simply doing a patch install seems to mess up.
However I've noticed that with Quicktime when a new version is released if I download and install just Quicktime and install it, it can sometimes lead to problems with iTunes, I reckon as iTunes is expecting to find the version it installed as part of it's package but now has different files.
Has anyone else come across this issue and if so, how do you handle quicktime updates which seem to come out more frequently than iTunes updates?

Best way to hide symbols when they're on the stage, but invisible?

I have multiple symbols linked to buttons with .click events...
The problem I'm having is that when I've animated the contents of the symbol with opacity down to zero, etc, but the symbol itself remains on the
Stage, and it blocks other layers' text from being selectible (i.e. if visitors wanna copy and paste my text, they would be unable to with that invisible symbol sitting on top of it in the layer order)
I tried to use sym.$(current).hide();   like below... (The rest of this code is for state management so that an animation will play out, and another one will play in whenever a corresponding button is clicked - it comes from here: http://blogs.adobe.com/edge/2012/07/18/tutorial-leveraging-independent-symbol-timelines/)

What is the best way to export data with Run time prompts out of Essbase?
One thought was to use Business Rules with run time variables and DATAEXPORT command, but I came across at least one limitation where I cannot have months (part of dense Time Periods dimension) on rows.
I have only two dense dimensions: Accounts and Time Periods and I need both of these on rows. This would come handy when user enter Start and End month and year for data to be exported e.g. If start period is Feb 2010 and end is Jan 2011, I get data for all months in 2010 and 2011.

Best way to port from Verizon to AT&T (device only)

My wife and I are Verizon customers. We wish to switch to AT&T's Mobile Share. We currently have Verizon iPhone 5's and plan on purchasing the device only Verizon iPhone 6 Plus because of it's GSM/CDMA capabilities. Since Apple is not yet offering device only iPhone 6's for purchase online, we will have to wait until they have them in stock at our local Apple store. We are considering going with the AT&T double your data plan. Our concern is that the iPhone 6 Plus won't be in stock by the end of October when the double your data plan offer expires. What would be the best way to ensure that we don't miss out on this offer? Create a Mobile Share account now for our Verizon iPhone 5's, since they work on GSM, and when we purchase the iPhone 6's, put the AT&T SIM cards in them and then tell AT&T we want to port our Verizon number to AT&T? Will we need to tell AT&T that we have replaced our iPhone 5's with iPhone 6's? My understanding is that we can only request the porting via a phone call to AT&T or in an AT&T store. Can we do the rest of the process online?

Your plan sounds doable. The Verizon iPhone 6/6+ come unlocked on the GSM side right out of the box. So, you can just put in an AT&T nano-sim and activate on the AT&T network. There are users who have commented on just popping in there old AT&T sim and being operational. But there are caveats that additional functionality is now available with the iPhone 6/6+ that may need a new sim to use...check with the AT&T folks and see what their take is on that.
Also check on the availability of a contract-free Verizon iPhone so you don't get burned by being locked into a two-year contract by getting a subsidized iPhone 6/6+.
Your plan sounds pretty sound. I have been thinking of getting a 6 from Verizon, have been a Verizon user for many, many years and don't want to switch, but the unlocked GSM is important. Travel a lot and it would be nice in other countries to get a pre-paid sim and avoid roaming chargers.
