Best way to warp stabilize between premiere cs6 and AE cs6

I have a sequence with many clips, some with different speed (warp stabilizer doesn't work with speed in premiere CS6) whats the best way to stabilize these videos that are in different speeds?
Another question, in CS 5.5 I used the warp stabilizer in 1080P clips on a 720p composition (with fit to composition) this way I warp stabilizer could zoom/crop the video without loosing quality. Now premiere CS6 has warp stabilizer but I can use a 720P sequence with a 1080p video, warp stabilizer won't accept it.So whats the best way to do this in premiere CS6? (to get 1080p video stabilized in 720p sequence) or I can just stabilize in 1080p and export the final video to 720p and I will have the same quality?

You can make a new sequence from that 1080p file, stabilize it, nest it, then copy and paste it into your 720p project. This way you won't need to export it beforehand.

Thanks for you comments. Cam shake is a big devil for us amateurs. I have upgraded from a large Sony FX1 to a tiny tiny Panasonic TM700
and have major problems shooting hand held without shake, even though the cam has a good stablizer.
It is just that the cam is so tiny. So now I use a little "mealeable" tripod, 2 arms are my handle and the third arm dug into my tummy.
Really should use a full tripod, but how inconvenient when travelling.
Then I look at all the fellow travellers who are not into the hobby like I am. Some poor audience????
Now I have the CS6 Premiere Warp Stablizer. but but lots of changes to the Premiere workspace, especially the timeling area.
Do not know if I like the changes YET!! We shall see.

Hi, I've done a fair bit of reading and cbt videos, and have experimented for quite a bit in test environments, and I haven't come up with a best path for what I want to do. If someone could put me on the path to accomplish my goal, I would appreciate

I'm operating in an active directory environment at the 2008R2 functional level. I have a member server processing sensitive data which it receives from clients. My goal is to have all traffic between the member server and its clients encrypted
with IPSEC, but can't quite find what I'm looking for after spending a fairly embarrassing bit of time looking. Do I want:
IPSEC via group policy, whereby I apply a gpo with the IP Security policy "Server (request security)", to the server and apply a gpo to the clients with "Client (respond only)" set? If so, I haven't gotten this working, is
there more configuration needed?
Configure IPSEC Advanced firewall connection security rules?
Both 1. and 2. above?
Server and domain isolation? (This appears to be a lot of reading on whether or not it's a subset of the above methods, or a combination of them, or more).
If someone could point me to some documentation on the simplest way to do this, I would appreciate it greatly!!

Warp stabiliser in Premiere CS6 crashes

Hi
Been playing with Premier CS6 since downloading yesterday.
I am getting regular crashes (windows tells me premiere has stopped working)
I add a clip onto he timeline, I add the warp stabiliser, analyise then play back - I go back to effects to change some warp settings, and the crash occurs.
Anyone else seeing this before I report to adobe

Project file WITHOUT Warp Stabilizer on my clip was 3.5MB. WITH Warp Stabilizer it jumped to 7.6MB....
Now you're seeing it...
Here's where I realized something was amiss: I had a less than two minute sequence, all hand-held footage, that I wanted to stabilize. There were only about 6 or 7 clips in the sequence, and no other effects. I dropped Warp Stabilizer on the clips, and let it analyze... it took awhile, but I was OK with that. When it was done, despite Warp Stabilizer being a GPU-accelerated effect (after analysis), most of the clips were red bar. Hmm...
So, thinking maybe I just needed a restart, I saved my project. And I waited. And I waited some more. About a minute later, my project final stopped saving. Weird. So I tried to do something in the Timeline... and it was like running through a tar pit.
I killed off Pr, and went to check my project file... it was over 50MB... for a 7 clip, less than two minute sequence. That's a problem. When I finally got the project open again, I purged all the Warp Stabilizer instances, and saved a new copy of the project. This time, it was about 1.3MB. That is a HUGE difference, all attributed to Warp Stabilizer. Needless to say, I'm very reluctant to Warp Stabilizer do its damage to my project files, regardless of how good the output is.
So, let this be a cautionary tale. If you think you'll only need to stabilize a few seconds here or there, or you're totally cool with working in a completely different project to stabilize your footage (though look how well that worked for me), go for it. Fair warning...

Color & Stabilization between Premiere & AE

I have a feature film that's edited with many shots stabilized with the warp-stabilizer in Premiere.
I'm now doing color correction with Colorista and Looks, but those two work better in AE (AE allows keyframing and masking, Premiere doesn't). The frustrating thing is that every shot i import into AE starts all over with stabilization. It takes forever if i have to let AE re-stabilize everything and most annoyingly, even with the same Warp-Stab settings, sometimes crop/framing ends up a little different. That's especially frustrating as after finishing color correction, i'm back to premiere and realize that the shot framing has changed...
Please someone suggest a workaround. I spent all day and color corrected 2 minutes so far, this is taking ages!!!

CM is never simple and trust me, it is a lot easier today than it was 10 years ago. Regarding these issues, there is no simple answer here, I'm afraid. Premiere shows you a preview and you should take that very literally. It is in most cases not color exact which relates to chroma undersampling being used in many footage types and possible Gamma shifts plus however your monitor is mis-tweaked. Premiere however recognizes a monitor profile and can correct for it, if one exists and is assigned. Still, if it is just a generic factory profile and not a specific manual calibration profile this doesn't help you in any way. Also note that some Premiere effects and transitions do not operate in RGB to begin with, but use YCbCr/ YUV as their color space, as has been common for eons in video editing... So you see, a whole lot of complication. The simple truth here is, that the only true verification of video output still comes from an external monitor and scopes. AE on the other hand has a full color metrics engine. how to set that up is explained in a few documents on the help pages. it doesn't realyl solve your problem, since if you don't calibrate your monitor, the colors technically would still be off, but it might give you some more insights in what you need to do to improve your predicatbility...

Hi, whats the best way to transfer data between loops(state machines, regular while loop etc) in labview. For so many years ive been using local variables but these can cause race conditions. Anyone advise?

It depends one the structure of the loops and how they need to exchange data (unidirectional, bidirectional, broadcasting).
The simple case of one loop passing data to the other loop: producer/consumer design pattern using a queue

i live in a two storey house where i use my airport express to create a wireless network in the main floor, and time capsule to extend it in the upper floor, where my room is. i have like 16 mbps in the main floor, and 2-3 mbps in the upper floor after having speediest.
i used time capsule in the upper floor because i use wireless backup daily and don't want to put internet down while i im doin it and consequently my parent can have internet access in the main floor, am i right? or do i have make just the opposite in order to have a good internet speed?
secondly, while checking airport express wireless mode on airport utility, there is like 4 different type of radio mode(802 11n bg comp, 802 11n 2.4, 802 11n a comp, 802 11n 5ghz) which i have no idea what they mean
what do you recommend?
we have like iphone4, iphone 3g, mbookpro, ipad, ipad 2, samsung tv and a sony vaio laptop in the wireless network

What you have would appear to be working but I can comment how I would redefine your setup. Note that both Airport Express and Time Capsule can function as wireless base stations so you do have wireless everywhere and at all times — using the Time Capsules for backups doesn’t mean your parents won’t have internet access regardless of the where the base stations are located.
You appear to have devices to connect to your network that use the 2.4 GHz band with 802.11g such as the iPhone 3G and perhaps the 5 GHz band with 802.11n such as likely the Macbook Pro if it’s a recent model. The iPhone 4 can use 5 GHz and 802.11n. Can’t comment on the Sony and Samsung but you can check their specs.
Now the Time Capsule (if it’s a recent version), can simultaneously supply 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band signals, but the Airport Express (if it’s recent) can only use one of those bands at one time. Likely the lowest common denominator for your devices is going to be the 2.4 GHz band since the devices that are capable of using 5 GHZ also support 2.4 GHz. If you don’t use 5 GHz, you won’t lose much in a two-storey home because likely it’s the 2.4 GHz band is better signal anyway because 5 GHz signals drop off quickly with several walls/floors to penetrate.
You also didn’t mention if the Airport Express is used to support a printer and/or AirPlay (using iTunes to play on remote speakers via the Airport Express connection) but that might also be a factor in the best location to place the Airport Express. Although the printer could be switched between the Time Capsule and the Airport Express if needed, only the Airport Express will support your remote speakers.
Recommend you use the Time Capsule as the Base station. When using Airport Utility to define the network, after you name your network, etc., select the Wireless tab, check the box “Allow this network to be extended” and set the Radio Mode to "802.11n (802.11b/g compatible)”.
Using the Airport Utility, click on the Airport Express; after you define the device and network name, select the Wireless tab, define the Wireless Mode as “Extend a Wireless Network” and check the box “Allow wireless clients”.

Once that is done, setup the new iPad from the backup. Choose the Restore from Backup option when setting up the new iPad.

Warp Stabilizer in Premiere Pro CS6

I was glad to see Warp Stablizer in PP so that it would not require AE. However, I found it to destabilize (no pun intended) Adobe Media Encoder such that the video would fail to render and I couldn't retry without restarting the computer. After about four or so reboots, I tried removing the Warp Stablizer effect from one of my nested sequences and suddenly the render succeeded.
FWIW, I don't know if it's related, but the sequence setting was 720p but the nested sequence that had the warp stabilization applied to only one clip therein was 1080p.
I do have GPU hardware acceleration enabled (not that Warp Stabilizer uses it that I know of).
Is this a known issue, and does anyone have any suggestions for a workaround other than going back to using AE a la CS5.5?
Also, on a side note does anyone know what process I need to kill after a failed render like this so that I don't have to keep rebooting? The dynamiclinkmanager process got rid of a hung Media Encoder on exit but didn't resolve the hung Media Encoder on restarting to render.

Have you tried rendering just that shot out to a file without the rest of the sequence? If you can do that then you can reimport that shot in to Premiere and use it 'ready-stabilized'.
We've exported several sequences that have lots of Warp Stabilizer clips and not seen the problem (yet!).

I have successfully installed VMware server on my machine and set up a virtual machine, powering Windows XP for study issues (emulation via wine does not do the trick for me). The virtual machine runs fast and stable but does not meet my requirements unless I have two issues faced:
First:
How to access a USB pendrive monunted by the host system properly within the client?
Second:
What is the best way to share file system space between host and client? Should I set up a Samba share which is accessible for both host and client or is it save to grant my VM access to my physical hard disc as a whole (using it as a partition)?

Do not setup your VMware to be able to access your physical disk as a whole. This would have you mounting the filesystem twice, corrupting it in the process.
You /can/ setup VMware with Sharing Folders that lets you share your filesystem (either / or just /home or something else) and that is what I would recommend.
As for accessing the pen drive from both operating systems at once, I'd say use the same Sharing Folders method. I always share /mnt so that I can access my cdrom/USB/etc from the vmware OS.
The sharing folders is basically the same as a samba share, but uses vmware's own method (HGFS). Samba is more secure (if you are worried about your VMware OS breaking from it's shell and attacking your real filesystem, which is unlikely). You need the vmware tools installed to make use of it.

Best way to warp type around a cylinder

I need to warp type around a bottle to it curves up on the left and right and also condenses slightly at the edges (as it visually does).
Using the mesh function not only doesn't squeeze the type correctly I can't grab more than one bezier handle at a type so it is very inefficient and difficult.
Does anyone have a much better idea?
Illusttrator has slightly better tools but not great.

The problem I think if I understand the OP correctly is that they have an illustration bottle and it is not a 3D object of any kind so the best way is to do this is probably still in this case Illustrator, however saying this i have not tried this trick in Photoshop as a 3D object.
Well actually you can take a text line and turn it into a 3d object by itself without any without any background and much more easily manilpulate it over and existing drawing.
