Best wireless speakers for TV under $150.00

I'm looking to add wireless speakers for my HD TV for under $150.00.  Can anyone give me some ideas?  I'm looking at many products out there, but, once you start looking, they all have their own pros and cons and then they start looking all the same.............help?

I would just get a soundbar to go right under the t.v. rather than trying to fit wireless into your budget.

  • Best wireless speakers for macbookpro/internet usage?

    Hi,
I want to listen to my MBP (I-Tunes and Internet-streamed music) via wireless speakers. I use a wireless Time Capsule as my connection to the internet. My question is this: 1) how do I do this, and 2) what is the best product for around $200 or so?
    Thanks!

  • Best wireless speakers?

What are the best sound-quality wireless speakers for my MacBook Pro? Ability to dock / plug in an iPhone would be helpful but not essential and I would like just the best sound quality / reliability wirelessly for Mac use.

Sure.  Registration is unrelated to usage.
Wireless speakers?  Depends on what's important to you.  Here is a single speaker that I've got my eye on.  Expect to purchase in a week or so.

  • Recommendations for wireless speakers for airplay.

    some options here.

  • What are the best AirPlay speakers for Apple devices?

What are the best AirPlay speakers for Apple devices? I would like to get some good speakers to be used with my iPod, iPhone and iPad. Ideally, they should be able to play using AirPlay and be quite powerful, but with a good design if possible.
I am particularly interested in the Fidelio range of speakers by Philips.
Thank you for your help in advance.

Best is going to be a matter of opinion.  What environment are the speakers going to be used in? How large is the room? What type of music are you going to play? What features/functions would you like in the speakers? What price range are you looking for?  All of these are going to effect which speakers will best fit your needs.

  • What is the best wireless printer for the MacBook Pro?

what is the best wireless printer for a macbook pro?

I use an Epson NX430 (inkjet) which uses a wireless card: no issues. Also a Brother HL-3040 (laser) connected to modem by Ethernet cable: no issues. Depends on your printing needs and amount of work space available.

What is the best wireless printers for the iPad?

YOu may also want to consider that some printer manufacturers have apps you can use to print, and there are third party printer apps you can also use. So really, in theory, any wireless printer will work with an iPad. If it's airprint enabled it'll work natively, if it's not air print then you use their app or a third party app, so you can potentially expand your search to find a good printer that meets any specs you have (speed, or quality or ink cost) and then work with it to make it print with your iPad.

  • IMac - wireless speakers for house

I want to set up wireless speakers in my house connected to my iMac. What's the best configuration for that? Do I need a receiver?

There are many ways to go about this. One popular way is to use Sonos's proprietary wireless system. It is expensive although I hear it is quite good for a multi-room setup. The only way to expand this setup is with Sonos hardware only. http://www.sonos.com/
I have built my setup using various AirPlay speakers which is an Apple technology they licence out to other parties. AirPlay works over your wifi network with third party speakers using AirPlay technology or using Apple's Apple TV (streams video as well) or Apple Airport Express which can plug into a stereo. It will only stream to multiple speakers from iTunes on a computer. iOS devices can also stream to AirPlay devices although to only one speaker at a time. With an Apple TV on the network you are also able to stream audio and video from iPhones, iPod touchs and iPads. Not sure how reliable Sonos is but you can experiance audio drop outs with AirPlay when you are on the edge of your wireless networks range, I imagine the same is true with Sonos. http://www.apple.com/ca/airplay/

  • What are the best wireless settings for a WRT160N v2?

I am trying to find out what the best wireless settings are for the WRT160N v2 to have the best connection with my PC (WUSB600N) and my PS3 gaming console.  Are there any suggestions on which channel I should be using, etc?  My PC and PS3 are about 30ft from the router and unfortunately, I cannot move the router.  I have really no obstructions from PC and PS3 to the router, but signal strength is low.  If anyone can enlighten me, I would much appreciate it.
    Thanks for your help!

Here are some settings which you can set on your Router, and i think this should solve all the problem. As this is the same settings which i have set on my Router and its working perfectly fine.

  • Wireless speakers for directv dvr

I am looking for wireless speakers to hook up to my directv dvr so I can listen to the music channels in the garage and on the deck from it. Is there anything out there that can do this?

Thanks for visiting our Community Forums. I am sorry but I do not know of a product that would accomplish this. I know there are systems out there to stream music to different rooms in your house but not to your car deck. If I run into something like that, I'll be sure to share.
    Thanks,

  • I am looking for best wireless earphones for my iPhone 5s

I am looking for best wireless earphones. I travel a lot and I need good sound quality earphones.

"Best" in something like headphones is very much a matter of personal preference. Much depends on the type of heaphones you're looking for and how much you're willing to spend. I am very, very fond of the Beats Studio HDs. I take public transportation and they block out most of the annoyances. They are also large and expensive. I can't use them for running.
www.ilounge.com used to do pretty good reviews of accessories for iOS devices. Or, try Amazon, tons of reviews there.

  • Best Wireless Router For British Telecom Connection...?

Can anybody recommend/advise on the best wireless router to suit an Apple Macbook?
    TIA

Again. Apple (for whatever reason) doesn't make country specific devices generally with a few expections. Your MacBook in the UK is like my MacBook in the US. Same with Time Capsule. It's the same everywhere. I just don't think (and I'm speculating which is sort of a no-no) they want to open a can of worms and have multiple configurations of a device that can be handled locally from your ISP. Your ISP provides the modem, you plug it in to Time Capsule and that's that. However if you bought a Apple Time Capsule in the UK I certainly couldn't use it with the modem built in. One I don't need a modem and two it's unlikely to work.
You're correct though I guess it would be nice to have an all in one solution but I doubt you'll get a Time Capsule to do it.
Good luck anyway!! If I hadn't just bought an Airport Extreme I would've gotten Time Capsule as well.
    Have a good one.

  • What's the beste wireless router for ADSL?

    Hello everyone,
Since I'm new to the Macworld, I'd like to know what's the best wireless modem to the Macbook. I've been looking forward to the Netgear one, but other options like D-Link that are lesse expensive.
So, what's the best option for connection speed, usability and easy setting up?
    Thanks in advance!

Just stick with the netgear if you could instead of D-link, a bit pricier is better than pulling your hair out to configure whats wrong...
I use 2 netgear and both work very well. 11b at home and 11 g at the office.
Just remember overtime you might have to set it up the internal configuration (depend on the isp provider) and you might be able to set it up by connect and using pc and with supported web browser like internet explorer to access the web based configuration setting by typing their default ip address.
    Good Luck.

  • Which wireless speakers for Imac and how?

I'm buying the airport express router today. I know it can stream music wirelessly to remote speakers. My question is: what are some good speakers I can buy and how do I configure them to receive the i-tunes music in my library?
Do I need powered speakers? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.

Which speakers you get is subjective. There are plenty available. (I use Harmon Kardon SoundSticks II that I find pretty good for room-filling sound.) However, you do need to make sure that they are powered (or fed through an amplifier).
Plugging them into the AirPort Express should make them appear in iTunes at the bottom of the main window - look for "Computer" in a pop-up that you can change to your AirPort Express speakers.
It's pretty straightforward, but if you get stuck post back here
PS The AirPort Express handles the wireless part for you - you don't need wireless speakers.

  • Best external speakers for my iMac

I am looking at the Bose Companion 3 and Companion 5 speakers for my iMac. If I understand correctly, the difference is the 5 does surround sound and is great for movies. I want great speakers for audio.

    Hi Bryan
I think it depends on where your iMac is setup!
If your iMac is setup in your den or family room and you allready have a nice stereo system just pickup a mini headphone to RCA adapter and RCA cables and hook it up. If you do not have a decent stereo then yes the Bose or an upper end 5.1 system is the way to go.

If your iMac is setup in a small office, any of the 2.1 systems would sound real nice for a-lot less cash. I have a Creative Inspire 2.1 system in my office, the satellite speakers are in the corners of the room (instead of blaring in my face) and the Sub under my desk. The setup sounds great, it has good R & L channel separation and the sub rumbles/thumps the floor real nice.

Hey nothing against the Bose they are great, I might have a set myself if money grew on trees!
