I had to cancel Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and now Toukiden is backordered. Bestbuy never get any new release games on time. What's the point of having Gamers Club Unlocked membership when you never get games on day 1.

To be the best in the gaming business, you have to always work to have every gaming product when it’s released. Sometimes having it a few days later isn’t going to cut it and I apologize for the disappointment that this has caused you.
We are constantly working with the vendors to make sure that we have the most up to date release information and that we can have it in our stores on time. Apple mail never gets new mail
My apple mail will never get new mail automatically, it is set to check new messages every 5 minutes. If i open the application, it will then get my new mail but never without me opening the app. Am i doing something wrong?

I try buying something in game of war fire age but I never get it in game. Help?
So here's the scenario: I load 30 dollars on my account to buy something that is on sale for 20 dollars plus tax in the game "Game of War - Fire Age." It shows that I purchased the item in my purchase history, but when I check in-game nothing shows up. I contacted machine zone and they told me the "can't see your billing information" therefore not answering my question as to why I didn't get the items. They also said mail apple who said they don't control what apps do. All I got was a refund and when I tried purchasing again the same thing happened. Anyone Else Not Get New Message Indicator in the Messages Section of the Menu Screen?
I have been on the phone with Technical Support numerous times and they don't seem to have an answer to this question, so I thought I would see if anyone else has experienced this. And before anyone suggests this, technical support's answer has been to pull the plug on the box to reset it and this has not worked.
The issue is with the "Messages" portion of the "Menu" screen. I know Verizon does not offer a light on your STB to let you know you have a message. Instead, you are supposed to be able to go into the Menu screen and see the word "NEW" next to "Messages" along with the picture of an envelope to let you know you have a new message.
For whatever reason, I don't get either of these indicators. I never thought I had a message until I was at a friend's house and they went into their Menu and they had "NEW" next to their Messages along with the envelope indicator. I went home and saw that I had about five messages in my Messages box, some of which were very old.
While this is not a huge deal, it still bugs me that Verizon has no answer. I thought my STB may have an issue, but other than this, they work fine. (By the way, neither of my STB give me either indicator).
So I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue, and if so, how did you get it fixed? Did Verizon have to come out and do something, did Technical Support need to do something on their end, or did you need to get new STB? One time Technical Support tried to tell me that it may be an issue with Fios in my area, but that theory was shot down when I went to my friend's house. I have never gotten either indicator, and I have had Fios for almost one year.

It would be nice if the Verizon employees had the correct information when posting here. The indicator light hsa never been operational since I got TV service 3 1/2 years ago (as Matcarl said). The reason given by Verizon was "It confused too many users when the light came on and created excess calls to the FSC".
As for the envelope in the menu, mine used to work but also stopped working on my DVR (7216) about a month ago. To confuse matters my 2500s (2 of them) still show the envelope when there is a message.

Apple never preannounces new releases. Speculation about when a new model might be coming out is forbidden here. Refreshes of MBP models in the recent past have been much farther apart than the five-month interval between last February, when the current models were released, and now.

What happens to the apps' data, if they were restored to a new device, but apps never get installed?
This is a super easy scanario.
Say in my old phone I have totally 50 apps, 30 purchased under Appel ID (A), and another 20 purchased under a different Apple ID, (B).
The old device is iOS5 and I turned on iCloud backup and back up everything (data of all apps).
I get a new device, restore from iCloud, wait until everything (photo, messages, settings, most importantly, data of all 50 apps) are restoed to the new phone.
The first thing happen after the first reboot, and it will prompt me to log on my Apple ID, to install apps.
What if, at this moment I decied to only sign on with Apple ID (A), and just don't want to use all 20 apps that I purchased under Apple ID (B) anymore?
Is the data of those 20 apps become leftover / orphane on my new phone, and just no way to clean them up? Please notice again, that I did not say "install app and then delete", I know that will clean up the data as well. Verizon just sends me a new router but the problem never gets fixed
I'll tell you about my problem and I just need to know where and how to start diagnosing the issue so i can get this fixed because fios customer service tells me there isnt an issue or just sends me a router but my lag issue gets so bad i cant even use the internet, my phone goes faster.
So I upgraded my fios to quantum and it was fine for a while but lately there has been alot of strang lag and it happens very randomly, I get lag on all of my computers in my home when it happens. While playing video games my connection goes from green to red and i lag for about half a second and back to green and this goes on and on every couple seconds. I also have slow web browsing and downloading is almost non-existant. But there are times I can have all 5 computers on and playing video games and downloading at the same time and never get a hint of lag.
This has been going on for months, I have gotten 5 new routers and had a tech come out once, but when he was here the issue wasnt happening.
Here are the details:
While playing my video game my latency is normaly ~20ms and during this issue it will start out at ~20ms but jumps every couple seconds up to about ~150 ms or higher and I lag in game.
I have 4 computers wired and 1 wireless, only 1 computer is currently on.
I tested on every computer and all are the having the same issue so i know its not the computer.
I have 75/35 fios quantum.
I ran the verizon speed test and got:
4.15 mbps download
37.85 mbps upload
12 ms latency
please help me! customer service cant help at all or just tell me nothing is wrong, but there isThe low download speed could be cluing into the problem.
How do your MoCa signal levels look? We can get an idea of how they are by looking at the link speed between all of your devices. See this FAQ on how to get this info.

Time Machine never gets out of Indexing backup...
I had a problem with my iMac earlier today. My first instinct was to create a complete backup. But since then I've not been able to create a backup. Time Machine never gets out of Indexing backup...
Each time I try to backup the message log contains:

The tiny numbers in Activity Monitor suggest that Time Machine isn't really doing anything.
So far I have:
1. Verified my main hard disk and my original backup disk.
2. Bought a new external hard disk and set it up as a new backup disk.
3. Deleted the Spotlight files on my main hard disk and both the backup disks.
4. Reset Time Machine by deleting its .plist file and choosing the new backup disc again.
Given the failure earlier today I am really keen to get a full back up done.
Any ideas?

Indexing the backup and actually performing the backup are two different things. Sometimes Lion Time Machine has trouble maintaining the index when used over a wireless network. That doesn't affect the creation of new backups. You can always enter Time Machine and see just how many backups you have.

Please don't do things like this. What you need to do now is:
1) Boot from your recovery volume.
2) Repair your disk and permissions
3) Wait for Spotlight to finish reindexing your hard drive.
4) Erase your Time Machine drive and start Time Machine over again.
Come back if you are still having trouble. If you muck around with low-level files that shouldn't be mucked with, all bets are off. -

There are some WLS threads that seem to be waiting for a response from the DB and there are some others waiting for locks held by those threads. The latter threads are trying to rollback transactions, probably because the transactions have timed out. I'd examine the DB log files to figure out where the deadlock is.

I have a Macbook, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4. I also have iCloud on all three devices. For some reason I can not get new information from my contacts folder to transfer to the iPad or the iPhone. Never been a problem before.

Imap: google, hotmail, and more including icloud.
If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.

It sounds like you are tapping the Game Center app to open it, but the screen is blank. I recommend signing out of your account:
Go to Settings > Game Center, where you can:
Sign out (tap your Apple ID)

Then close all the running apps:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone sign back into your account and try again:

I recently got a new iphone but when I restored it in iTunes one of my games that I have played for months RESET. How do I get my old game info back?
If you made a backup before you restored it you can restore your iPhone from a backup and your game data should be restored. When you connect your iPhone in iTunes you can right click on it in the sidebar and select restore from backup.

My circa 2007 iMac freezes up, and rainbow wheel appears when this happens. I know the computer is starting to get old but I can't afford a new one at this time and would love to continue using my Mac, but it's frustrating. Most of the time I ONLY have 1 thing open at a time, and keep my tabs down to a minimum. I bought this to do film editing on but with it acting like this I cannot do that. I know I need a ram upgrade (currently running 2 gb) and my OS is old, 10.5.8, but I think even with it being a bit outdated it should run better than this. Would a fresh install or OS upgrade resolve this? Or any other suggestions to keep this clunker chugging along for a little while longer?
How full is the hard drive?
Do you run any virus software or hard drive "cleaner" software like MacKeeper?
If your model is from 2007 you can install up to 6 GBs of RAM.
2 GBs is the barest of minimum RAM for OS X to run on.
Especially if doing video work. You simply do not have sufficient RAM.
Also OS X 10.5.8 Leopard support ended around 2009.
You could update to OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, at least.
It is available on disc from the Apple store for U.S. $19.99.
I Would seriously upgrade your iMac's RAM to the max. 6 GBs before doing this.
Reliable Mac RAM can be purchase from online Mac RAM source Crucial memory or OWC ( also known as macsales).
