Better apps and use of phone

I am inquiring about the usage and freedom of my phone. I have seen apps on phones that allow the user to have a better experience with their iPhone. A few of these programs include the ability to respond to a text without having to leave what you are working on. That makes the features much more speaking. Another is the ability to display the calendar on the lock screen. This makes knowing your schedule much easier than having to go into the calendar all the time to figure it out. Plus there isn't anything else on the screen anyway. Another is the ability to put apps in a folder. This helps to clean up the pages and makes it easier to find an app when you have a lot rather than scrolling through a bunch of pages and guessing or having to reorganize all the time. And why is there not an aption to snooze a calendar reminder. Also the option to run radio music in the background while I'm texting or surfing the internet. According to your commercial you can multitask on the phone. But if I'm listening to one of your radio apps and a text comes in or I want to look something up on the Internet while enjoying my station, I can't so that. Seems like false advertising to me!!
I love my iPhone. But the limitations you all have placed makes me feel robbed. I feel like I have been dubbed in my total e perience of a good phone. I don't like having to close out of what I'm doing just to respond ok to a text. I don't like having to choose between surfing the Internet and listening to my radio!! Please explain to me why apple has placed these limitations on my phone. The item I am paying for and continue to pay for every month? Please explain to me why if the other phones are so inferior they are Ble to do the things I see as pretty simple!!
I know you may not respond to my message. But if you get to it. Please give me a straight answer. No babble because I know it can be done. I have seen it on phones. Apple and Cingular have chosen for some reason not to allow me the full capabilities of my phone and my money.

That means there is content on your phone...music and or apps...originally obtained using his Apple ID. Such content is forever tied to the account used to originally obtain it and cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. Your only choice is to identify and delete this content.

Go and use my phone and in the top left hand corner it says no service. i have tried restoring the pone, resetting the network settings and also a hard reset as well.

Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

The apps I currently have are for the i phone and i pad but i would like to see this on this computer
On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
See if that makes a difference...

If you're talking about "regular" icloud, then setting it up should have no effect on your music. Try syncing the device to iTunes and check the music settings and sync again.
If you subscribe to iTunes Match, is the device in wifi range?

You can tethe, but depending on carrier you may need to pay for that option... I've decided to have my phone on one provider and my ipad on another so i always have connectivity... More expensive in the long run, but I need to make sure I am always "on" for work

Question about Backing Up apps and using Migration tool

Since installing Leopard on my G5 PPC, I have been having a strange problem with the sleep, screen saver. Anytime the system goes into screensaver or sleep, it will not come back and will be frozen. Needless to say I was told by the Mac Genius guys that I need to do a clean install.
So my real question now is about backing up all my apps and then using the migration tool to bring them back into the new install. I was going to attempt to use Carbon Copy Cloner on a second internal drive (Time Machine has never worked for me on my Lacie 500gb.) Once I have a full bootable copy, I will do a clean install (erase and install option) on my original drive, then I guess I am going to use the migration tool.
So my questions are:
1) Does this strategy seem like it will work?
2) Is the migration tool straightforward? IE - Can I pick and choose what to put back on the new install?
3) Any pitfalls that I should be aware of?
I have already backed up my docs and data to the external, but I have so many programs with plugins installed that getting my apps back the way they are is essential to me.

Remember Time Machine is designed to do constant, incremental backups of your HDD. If you delete something from the internal HDD of the Mac it will no longer be backed up to the external HDD and will eventually be deleted from the backup archive as time passes and TM keeps doing its backups.
What will probably be a better solution is to simply drag-n-drop the entire iTunes folder to an external HDD for backup and use that as the main iTunes library. The drawback to this is that to play the music you'll need to have the external HDD connected. Unless your plan is not to delete all the music from your MBP, just some of it.

That's going to be a ridiculous waste of money and energy.
First of all, the current ATI drivers don't support multiple GPUs, so at the moment even a single 4870X2 would be only a 'normal' 4870 (which is quite a speed beast already). GFX drivers evolve rapidly, so things might look different next month, but when it comes to Linux and hardware there's one Golden Rule: stay away from the newest stuff and wait for proper support to get coded.
I also wonder what power supply could possibly cope with the differences between idle and full load; that's way beyond 400W. But then, I'm one of those "quiet&green" types where >100W idle is already a bit much.
I kind of understand that you want to get it done and not worry about hardware for the next 10 years or so, but that's simply not how the hardware world works and never did. At least not for the average consumer.

Not if it's a first gen iPhone, the personal hotspot/internet tethering is only possible on the iPhone 3G and later (and then oly if your carrier supports it) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3574

hi, we configured the new mail app and pointed to work email. This new mail app does not seem to use our LDAP directory. Do I have to load this complete LDAP into iPod Contacts? Seems not practical. How can I get this mail app to see our LDAP?

please reply with any answers to the question. Not being age to access the directory and view ppt files are some serious issues that prevents business users from using this app and device and apple software.

via argsI presume you mean the command line arguments? Well that'd be the command line arguments: ergo: "Hello World" would be the arguments in: java -cp . Say "Hello World"
System.in is the standard input stream... The console (ie the keyboard) when a java program is run within a "standard" command line environment.
