Better solution for Photoshop CC update error U44M1P34

How can I fix Photoshop CC update error U44M1P34 without uninstalling ALL OF MY ADOBE PRODUCTS !?

Hello. I'm having the same problem to install the update Photoshop and Bridge.
The error is U44M1P34 and I've done the procedure of uninstalling and reinstalling the Adobe applications. It did not work.
I suspect that is because I use Windows 8 in Brazilian Portuguese, which makes the Program Files directory call up Arquivos de Programas. I suspect that the application of the CC does not recognize the name.
Please, help me find a solution.

Still no fix for Photoshop Install / Update Error? (Exit Code 15 - inconsistency in installer db)

I have tried every suggested fix to no avail... what gives Adobe?
- Removed all versions of Photoshop
- Started in safe mode
- Used cleaner tool
- Used plist method
All apps update except Photoshop and I can't install at all on other MacBook Pros.
Can we please get a fix for this? So many threads on this topic from other customers!!!

After using the Adobe Clean tool, I checked its output log and it mentioned it couldn't find a "caps.db" in the Common Files/Adobe/caps/ folder under Program Files or Program Files (x86).
So what I did: I manually deleted the Adobe folders from:
- Program Files
- Program Files (x86)
- Program Files (x86)/Common Files
After that, I was able to install successfully Photoshop CS5.1 and at this very moment I'm able to install PS CS6 (it's been already 50% of the installing progress).
So far, this action of deleting the Adobe folders from my Program Files folders seems to be sorting out the matter...

Hey guys, I had a question about indesign tables. In one publication I am working in, the client has expressed a desire for table to be done the way they always did them which is the following.
When the table is first being introduced to the reader (that is when it starts) it has a .75 stroke above. however if the header row occurs on any succeding pages, then that stroke should be .25 like any other strokes that may occur on the table (like at the bottom, or the line under the headers.
This is so simple but right now it has me stumped. Is there any way to do this in an easier fashion than having to convert the header to a body row recreate or fake the header row by putting it into the regular flow of rows? Thanks all!

Yeah, that's what I'm saying: you can't just apply a stroke to the top of a frame, and if your objects aren't anchored then you risk the possibility of a number of lines randomly floating around. The whole point of anchored objects is to anchor them to a particular point in the text, so when they text reflows they follow along. So: use the pen tool to draw your line, copy it to your clipboard, create an anchored object, manipulate it until it's sitting exactly where you want it, and paste your new rule in.
Positioning anchored objects precisely works well once you understand the interface, but the first time out I found it really confusing, hence my link to the help file entry on anchored objects.
There may well be a better solution for your issue, but this duct tape is what came immediately to mind.

Photoshop CC Update - Error Code: U43M1D204

After literally waiting all afternoon for Photoshop to download and install from the CC, I got an error message that an update could not be loaded. I tried then loading the update from within the software, and got this error:
Adobe Photoshop 14.2 There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.
Anyone else? The application seems to work -- I tried it out. So it seems this in not so critical an update. It's immensely annoying after the painfully slow download of the program to have this issue crop up.

As per my knowledge MM posting periods can open current month and Previous month only. For the reason I proposed the solution as follows:

Opening Balance G/L Account Dr 4149599 + 1318596
Closting Stock a/c                      Cr 4149599 + 1318596
Step 2.
Change the Material Price in MM through T.Code: MR21
( Posting will be allowed in current or previous months)
This makes our CO reports accurate.
Please suggest the better solution if it is possible in MM for adjusting the Material stock values for the last financial year.

Better solution for scaling of value

Hi,
We have a requirement of scaling the values retrieved in reports, We had two solutions,
1) Use EvGTS function to scale vale
2) Use Excel functionality to scale the value
Please let us know which is a better solution.

Photoshop elements update error

My photoshop elements 12 will not update. Like others it gives error message. Possible solution is download drivers? The problem is I don't know what to do with these files or if I should even extract them. Below is a screen shot. The files below look like MAC files and not Windows files. Help. If these files are not for me what next. I am needing the Beginner Version. Thanks.

The post described the steps I took.....see above.
Photoshop opens and operates fine. Just didn't install update. Says 'this installer is misconfigured' and to contact program author. Adobe website no help.
Like I said, I can still use the program, just wanted the critical update.

Photoshop CS6 update error U44M2P22 or U44M2I218

I bought the permanent license version of Photoshop CS6 standard. as-installed, it is version 13.0.0
I wanted to update to 13.0.4. so I tried installing via update feature. got an error.
so I manually downloaded the 13.0.4 updater patch.
still get an error.
Error log I get is this:
Adobe Photoshop 13.0.4
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M2I218
Sometimes the error code is: U44M2P22
I searched everywhere, and no one else seem to get this error code.
I have run out of /Application disk space, so the actual program is located in a mounted partition (via /etc/fstab), /Application/Adobe/Photoshop CS6
I've tried re-installing, permission repair, disk repair...
help!

However on the 13.0.4 updater log there are many errors, mostly due to some language pack missing, but that should not have any bearing (I have the US version installed). BUT
there's the INSTALLDIR error, which should not be triggered, since the application IS NOT INSTALLED IN THE ROOT DIRECTORY. /Application is root directory, but the application is installed in /Application/Adobe. in the original PS CS6 installer, the root directory check passes as shown above. so the updater is somehow NOT seeing that the installed directory is not root.

This to me, says that the Photoshop updater program has a bug in its algorithm to determine whether the program is installed in the root path or not. The original Photoshop installer algorithm works, but the updater installer doesn't.
And you can see from the timestamps on the logs that I (re)installed PS CS6 and then immediately ran the 13.0.4 updater. I did not relocate the program or any of its support files, or modify any of the PS CS6 components.
Just to be clear on my HDD setup, my /Applications directory is a mounted partition. thus the /Applications is a mount point/top-level directory for that partition which Adobe installer identifieds as root path. thus the PS CS6 program is installed in the folder within the mounted partition, /Applications/Adobe/PS 6, which is most definitely not a root path.

Latest Photoshop CC UPDATE - ERROR Message U44MIP7

I have tried to download this update, on the last two days and I get the same Error Message U44MIP7. MyOS is Windows 7 on a Dell 620 with losts of memory and speed. The update seems to download (it gets to 100% and then in a few seconds I get this Error Message U44MIP7. I have also tried to get the update using my shortcut for CC on my desktop and I get the same response.   How do I get the latest update to Photoshop CC. Thanks for you help.

1) Restart Your Computer .. so that all the application must stop
2) Log out of Creative Cloud App - Go to Settings - Preferances - Sign Out of Creative Cloud ..
3) Rename OOBE Folder from Different Locations
You Can also Run the Update after Renaming the OOBE Folder ... from the different Locations of your computer
Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder (Rename it to OOBE_OLD)
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE   (Rename it to OOBE_OLD)
                                          C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Login in Back to Creative Cloud and Try to run the Update ...

Need Beta Testers for Photoshop CC 14.0-Specific Sharpening Actions

I've developed a new image sharpening actions set that I'm ready to release, but I'd like to invite a few folks who have cloud subscriptions and are running Photoshop CC 14.0 to try the actions first.
Photoshop CC comes with some great sharpening tools, and I'm trying to get a feel for whether my actions add value over and above the tools already there. They do things a bit differently, leveraging the new detail-preserving upsampling method in Photoshop CC 14.0, and I've had some images for which the actions produced better looking results than the Smart Sharpen tool Photoshop provides out of the box.
All I'm looking for is for folks to try them out on their images, and let me know what they think of the results.
Users and Adobe folks alike are welcome. I can't promise everyone who responds a set (I only need 10 or so testers), and I'll post another message on this thread when I have enough.

I've had it for a while now, and I've posted some positive things about it already.
The sharpening tools based on deconvolution algorithms are really world class, the detail-preserving upsampling is excellent, and I've even found some good uses for Shake Reduction. The results I'm getting from astroimage processing with the new tools are great. The 3D facilities have improved a good bit, if you're into that sort of thing. I like the Upright features in Camera Raw. I've had it straighten out some images that would have taken a lot of time with the Perspective Crop Tool or a transform.
Regarding bugs... I've just reproduced a bug someone else reported with scrubbing the font size boxes after transforming text, but otherwise it's really a solid release from my perspective. I honestly haven't had this build of Photoshop CC crash unexpectedly at all (in well over a month of hard use). I've crashed it myself a few times running plug-in code under development (because of MY bugs, not theirs), and in those cases it auto-recovered my images.
All my plug-ins and actions work perfectly. Only thing I had to do was update my installers because I had anticipated it being called CS7 instead of CC back when I coded them.
Something's slightly different during Ps CC 14.0 initialization - it made a problem I always had with Photoshop CS6 go away. I used to have to wait a split second after Photoshop CS6 cold-started before I could do a File - Open from the menu. The menus would be disabled (grayed-out) if I got in there too quickly. Now I don't see that delay. It was a little thing, but constantly irritating, and I'm really glad that's gone.
I like the newer OS dialogs (e.g., File - Open, File - Save) better; I sometimes need to do searches and the new Explorer dialogs facilitate that. They also work perfectly with the codec pack I use (FastPictureViewer).
I still have Photoshop CS6 icons parked on my desktop right next to Photoshop CC, and I find that for other than specific testing I do not need nor crave using the older one at all. I guess you'd say I find Photoshop CC as good or better in every way.
Relatively speaking, most things are the same speed as Photoshop CS6, though a few are incrementally faster (moving huge layers around on a very deep image is a good example). Nothing seems slower to me. It scores the same on the various Photoshop benchmarks I've tried.

Strange solution for iOS 4.3 Error 9 (got at "restoring IPhone firmware")

After my iPhone 4 was stuck between iOS 4.3 installation failure and restoring of iOS 4.2.1 Apple Service men tested it and confirmed a hardware problem. Now I'm given brand new one.
From what I see another guy had reported same here:

Some other people also reported encounter with same problem - Error 9 during Restore at "restoring iPhone firmware".
The solution is the best for the customers, but to me it sounds very strange that a software update can cause hardware damage. There is something fishy here.
Anyway, affected fellows: Do not waste your time. Go to nearest Apple Service.

Flash Professional CC 2014 - Updating error (U44M1P34)

Hi, guys! I just can't install the most recent update for Flash Professional CC and Mobile Device Packaging (2014). The download starts normally and after a few minutes it shows the error message (as seen in the image below). I've tried over and over again, but the same error message appears. What's happening?
