Better Viewing Experience: iPad to tv or Apple TV?

I'm brand new to Netflix and just watched my first few movies on my iPad. Playback paused a few times (I assume due to buffering over my wifi network?) and video quality wasn't the best.
I'd like to watch Netflix streamed movies on my TV and I'm wondering if I'd get a better viewing experience (streaming without pausing and video quality) with Apple TV v. Streaming from iPad.
Does Apple TV have internal storage to buffer streamed video in order to eliminate pausing? Or Can I expect more consistent streaming with AppleTV simply because it's connected by Ethernet cable v wifi that the iPad uses?
Lastly, will the video quality be any higher (sharper) with AppleTV v. iPad?

The new Apple TV has some storage. However, as you said if you use ethernet it should work/play better. The TV may be a little better picture since it is 720p (1280×720) while the iPad screen is only 1024-by-768.

They do.
Standby = press the Power button
Power off = Press and hold Power button then slide the red power off slider.
Reset = Press and hold both Reset adn Home till you see the Apple logo.

Interesting Differences Between the iPad and Android Viewing Experience

Well, interesting to me, anyway.
Here's some things I've noticed:
Image Sequence
The Android is the clear winner here, as the image sequence doesn't spin out of control when you lift up your finger like it does on the iPad. In fact, the viewing experience on the iPad is truly wretched and I've had to add notes under the view window telling people to keep their finger on the image when swiping in order to maintain control. I was getting complaints. Adobe, what's the issue here? Can the iPad viewer be brought under control?
Reset the entire Folio to the top-most page of every article
Tapping 3 times on the folio name in the viewer will reset each article to the top-most page with viewing on the iPad. Android? No such luck. Bit of a pain, that.
InLine Video
I realize this isn't a feature for Android yet, but it truly can't get here fast enough. Ouch. Pressing on the main Android menu back button twice (fast) will exit the fullscreen video and get you back to the page, but still.... Eeew.
Reset Entire Folio After Folio Update
With the iPad, after a folio update the entire thing is reset to the cover page. With Android, it stays where you left off. Not saying one is better than the other, but we sure do need a main FOLIO RESET button somewhere. And bookmarks. lol.
No Folio Instruction Sheet on Android
I know that Apple requires some sort of content to be contained within an app before approval, but not having that folio on the Android sure is nice. Again, wonder if there's a way to just write some code into the viewer to fool iTunes?
Installing after download
I'd say it's twice as fast on the iPad vs the Android. I've got a Xoom, but this is probably an app issue more than an OS or hardware issue. ?

Pc laptop to access the iTunes store again too authorize home sharing.   I have tried it before. O for a while I thought the we're sharing, now the Apple Tv has gone back to telling me to use my computer too sign into iTunes.

I will upgrade my PC with Windows Z8 and a screaming ran cache, ram disk on a 79 mother board and then pay 5 bucks a month for OnLive Plus that I hpe to show wirelesslypy on the big scree 50 inch Panasonic. Adobe Content Viewer in iPad dont update the contents on mi Folio Builder! Help!

When i update my folio through the Folio Builder in Indesign 5.5, the Content Viewer in iPad dont update de folio.
In Acrobat.com i see the contents update, but in iPad/Adobe Content Viewer not.
Why this problem happens?

Looking to the community for a suggestion for the best replacement map app for my ipad2. I regret "upgrading" to ios6 when I lost the old maps app. I used it daily and had perfect functionality for my purposes. Now I wish I'd researched it more before I clicked '"install." Is there a google replacement coming soon with street view that works like the old one? Is apple working on fixing the existing app to include the features of the old app? So sad....wish I could go back!

I tried the google Maps app on my iPad2 but it looked terrible. Blurry when expanded to 2X, clumsy and not intuitive. Terrible for my purposes and way different from the old Google Maps app. Per International Business Times (12/13/12):
"While iOS users may be rejoicing at the return of their favorite navigation app, it should be noted that Google Maps has not yet launched for the iPad. The version currently available in Apple’s App Store is only for the iPhone, and Apple Maps will still act a the default Maps App on iPhones even after Google Maps has been installed."
Perhaps it'll look/behave better when an iPad version is eventually released. But thank you anyway.

And they were definitely purchased from the iTunes store, they show on the account's purchase history (Store > View Account on a computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com) ?
You could potentially log into the account on that computer's iTunes (Store > Sign Out to log out of your account, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option) and redownload them by clicking on the id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and Purchased on the popup :

Or do you have a different computer that you could redownload them on and then copy them over to that computer via a flash drive or memory card, and then add them to its iTunes via File > Add To Library ?

No, you can authorize any number of email addresses on your Apple Id and then select one of those to use as an alternate Send and Recieve for Messages. It isn't necessary to use seperate AppleIDs. I use my phone number on my iPhone and an email address on the iPad.

IF i view it in ADE or kindle it is good to look but in IPAD the inline images are even placed in their position. So please anybody help me to built an epub2 document which can be viewed good in both IPAD and ADE. Do check your META-INF folder. It should contain "com.apple.ibooks.display-options.xml" which will make the view same as you do it on ADE.

HTML Article performance issues in Adobe Viewer on iPad

I have created a HTML Article using DPS but when I come to view it on Adobe Viewer in iPad the content does not scroll smoothly and the content is cut off and cropped (the whole page is not displayed), it is very judery and struggles to render the HTML below 'the fold' so to speak.
I have tried both options for importing HTML into DPS and both have the same performance/lag isuues.
I have a video in my HTML that seemed to be causing an issue where the video streaming was struggling to be pulled through, so I have treid YouTube and Vimeo video streaming and the performance/display issue is not resolved. I then tried embbeding an mp4 directly using HTML5 to see if it was a connection/bandwidth issue and the problem still exists. However the videos do play, its just the fact that the container is cropped in half.
Sometimes the whole HTML article renders but then when you swipe back up the page it struggles to render the content above? Also then when you swipe back down the page the content is also cropped that was visible before?
I have reviewed every available discussion on the Adobe Community and other resources but all the fixes mentioned do not have any effect.
If anybody can assist or has been experiencing the same issues any advise would be welcome.
Oh, the HTML Article contains some JS too, it does function correctly but I was wondering if JS causes problems? Just a thought.

Well, I think I may have found the answer so I thought I would share with the Community incase anyone else experiences the same type of issues.
After testing another peice of HTML that also included video streaming and heavy JavaScript, I narrowed the issue down to my JS. I had two Nivo Slider Carousels that were the route of the performance issues.
The other test HTML Article scrolls smoothly and the video pulls in as intended, although once in a while there is a slight delay in the page scrolling up and down but this is hardly noticeable.
I hope this may be of some help to other's in the future?

Forms created in Acrobat Pro XL do not display data when viewed on iPads

I have a simple form that when completed and saved as an Acrobat Pro XL document and then emailed to customers, do not display the field contents of the form when viewed on iPads. So the customers just see a blank form. I have tried to use Optimize for Web and Moblie to solve this, but it appears that many times, since the iPads are so prevalent, that people can;t see the full content of the form that I send. Is there a solution for this?

When your customers opened the PDF form (which was as an email attachment) on iPads, it is highly likely that Apple Mail (not Adobe Reader for iOS) was displaying the preview of the PDF form. Please note that Apple products on iPad/iPhone (e.g. Apple Mail, iBooks, Safari) do not render field contents or annotations (sticky notes, highlight, underline, strikeout, freehand drawing, etc.) in PDF documents.

Depends on where you are getting the PDF from. If it's sent as an attachment in an email then Mail will open it; if it's on a website then Safari will open it. You can also download Apple's iBooks app for free which will open PDFs

HIghest quality DVD viewing experience?

Can I get a higher quality viewing experience on a dvd if I convert my 47 minute movie using compressor or will it be the same as a quick time conversion?
Also, what is the best dvd to use - R, + R or other.

ABSOLUTELY better in compressor. And really it's a snap to use.
Export quicktime movie, self contained, do NOT recompress all frames.
Open compressor, drag file into thew window, select best 90 minute encode, push button. Two files will be created. Take them into dvdsp and author.
If you find it could be better, there are some things you can do to fix it up. Try playing with the bitrate in compressor, you can increase it some to help with difficult spots. Add compression markers in the timeline on "busy" sections.
How typical that the one on one with a genius gave you less than stellar results.

'Authentication Failed' for Adobe Content Viewer on iPad

I could not sign in to Adobe Content Viewer on iPad using my Adobe ID? Message received was 'Authentication failed'. I tried signed in to Adobe website using the name ID and password, there was no problem. Could someone PLEASE HELP me!

I Know nothing about this, but a Google search revealed this from the Adobe Support site.
